I have never left here with a hairstyle I did not love. My stylist, Sandy, is extremely knowledgeable and will answer any question you may have. There is a waiting room in the front of the salon as well as a wall full of products to purchase. This salon offers waxing, nail services, brow tints, lash tints and lifts, and makeup services in addition to many hair services for all hair types. This past year I discovered that curly hair needs a completely different haircut than the basic straight haircut. I had been searching online and on Yelp for a salon that has stylists that are certified and/or specialize in curly hair. I read the reviews for Dani's Hair Loft and they were one of the top salons with the best reviews. I booked right away and chose to have a consultation and a curly cut, by the first available stylist. I was booked with Sandra Joseph...whom greeted me when I walked in. I told her I was nervous because this was my first curly cut and I was scared it would end up short She assured me that we would go over all of that in the consultation. During the consultation she went over my hair length, density, texture, porosity, curl pattern, damage/health, etc. I got the dry curly cut. The whole time Sandra was cutting my hair, she was telling me what she was doing and the purpose of it....during the wash, she was explaining different ingredients in products and what they do. I also added on to my services a deep conditioning treatment and a top coat gloss to tone down my blonde. Sandra also educated me on how wet my hair should be when I add leave-in conditioner and styling product. If I could give this place 10 stars, I would. Not only did they get me in within hours of my frantic call, but Kaitlyn and Dani went above and beyond when it came to correcting the disaster my previous stylist left me with (think orange striped blonde hair with dark brown roots.... ouch). The atmosphere was positive and relaxed during the entire experience, and they did an amazing job at turning my awful mess into something gorgeous. Katelyn Weber did a fabulous job on my hair! We have been slowly working my hair to pink, and she nailed it! I have gotten a ton of compliments about it. My hair is still super healthy which is really important to me. I was leaving on a trip the day after, so she recommended some travel size products for me to take (didn't want to ruin my hair with hotel shampoo). I was referred to Angel by a colleague after having some frustration finding a place for basic hair care. My hair does it's own thing, I work too much to fuss over it, and it's all I can do to keep the peace. My lack of interest in exotic beauty regimens makes me typically uninteresting to stylists. I get it, and I expect it, but I really loved that everyone in this shop was friendly, open, and never tried to talk me into more stuff. Angel even got me set up to donate to Locks of Love (which I did). I got a great cut, shared a few laughs, donated my hair, and found a new beauty shop. I will definitely go back. I just love this place, it is professional, clean and the staff is very well educated but also fun to talk to. I had gotten a deva cut and color yesterday by Molly and she was just awesome! I LOVE what she did with my hair, it desperately needed a pick me up and she knew just what to do. Angel is a gifted and experienced hair stylist. We were visiting the area and my wife went to Dani's. She was thrilled with her haircut, and I agreed that she looked gorgeous. After sleeping on it, she was able to just comb and go - a sure sign of a good cut. Highly recommend this salon, especially Angel. In addition, Linda was super friendly and courteous when scheduling the appointment and confirming it. During that experience, she even offered to set me up with one of the stylist to get my hair done if I wanted. I came a long way for a consultation on a specialized hair cut for kinky curly hair. I had heard thru the networks that this salon knew how to achieve the look i was going for. I get up there met with Molly who assured me she knew how to cut this way. I was shocked when she told me "I don't think YOU'RE A GOOD CANDIDATE FOR THIS CUT". I was a little taken aback by the comment. Even with that being said i still made an appointment because I was thrilled at her optimism and exuberance. i received a call from the salon, saying Molly had to leave early and that i should come 3hours earlier than the original schedule. I arrived for my appointment and to my very discredited surprise, another young lady brought me to her station. I was appalled. This girl was great! My experience is very similar to Chrissie R.'s. My hair also does its own thing and I don't have the time or desire to fight it. I first went to Dani's in 2011 and Angel gave me exactly the cut I wanted. She's the best! I also donated my ponytail to Locks of Love as I did in 2013 and will be doing again soon. My husband recently got his hair cut at Dani's and we both agree that it is the best cut he's ever had. Ina gave him his cut. Love this place! read more
