Stopped in to try Danny's deli today, and I was not disappointed! They are situated in fishhawk in a strip mall next to 7-Eleven off of Boyette. I checked out the menu and was torn between the cheesesteak and the Italian. I decided on the 5 inch Italian, which was 7.99 and the 10 inch sandwich was 12.99. I believe it was the owner Danny himself who is making the sandwiches handed it to me. He was super nice and friendly! I got home and tried out the Italian, it was loaded! The sandwich was amazing so fresh flavorful and juicy. I really loved it! I'm super excited to come back and try the cheesesteak. I highly recommend coming to Danny's for a great sandwich

I had the cheesesteak at Danny's Deli and I have to say, it's amazing. The flavor is rich, the texture is perfect, and everything about it hits just right. Hands down, it's the best cheesesteak I've had in Lithia (maybe anywhere). If you're in the FishHawk area and haven't been to Danny's yet, you're missing out. This place is the real deal. The owner is very friendly and thanks you for coming. I enjoyed the atmosphere and that you see the food being made. There is something great about watching your food being made.

Nice little daily tucked away over and fishhawk. Great customer service very nice little deli. Wife had a turkey sandwich she really enjoyed it I had a Philly steak and cheese. All both sandwiches was pretty good. My wife said hers about 8.3. Philly cheesesteak was decent I enjoyed it I got a 7.5. way back try some more. If you in that area stop in and try them.

I've been waiting for a good deli to finally come to the Brandon area and this place is beyond that! I've already eaten here 3 times in the last 4 weeks and I will continue until I've tried every sandwich. The restaurant is extremely clean, the service is fast and beyond friendly, the price is great and the food is fantastic! Do something for yourself and eat at Danny's Deli! I've had the Philly, the Italian and the 1975. Pictures don't do them justice because you can't smell or taste them. The picture is the phillly and a SMALL 1975! It is not small, just FYI. Get some red pepper sauce on anything!!

I have been meaning to stop by this deli, and I am so glad I finally did. They are in Fishhawk, which is a great location for me, personally. It's in a plaza that's easy to see and easy to park. The deli has a Phillies baseball kind of vibe. Everyone here was friendly and pleasant. I tried the Italian. It was super tasty. Meat is great. Toppings are great. Cherry peppers add some nice spice. I would come back for sure. The bread, though, is to be desired. I got the hoagie roll. I found it dry with a poor texture. Next time I would definitely go for Cuban bread or a wrap. It should also be noted that most of the sandwiches do not have Mayo or mustard, so if you want it, you'll have to ask. I like that they put different toppings than every other sandwich spot out there, but since Mayo and mustard are so standard, it may help if they let people know when ordering.

    The 1925 hoagie. Its epic!

    - Had a great experience here, with the 1975 Hoagie (sort of a super Italian). The crew was very welcoming (especially as I came in pretty early), the hoagie was excellent, stuffed, super flavorful. I'm def going back for the cheesesteak! *9/10*

I've been a loyal customer of Frankie's Deli since they opened. I typically order the chicken salad…read moreor a sandwich, and I also place large catering orders for my customers because they genuinely enjoy the food. Unfortunately, after my most recent experience, I won't be returning. I stopped in around 3:00 p.m. and was happy to see it wasn't busy. I went to the deli counter, waited for someone to serve me, ordered my chicken salad, grabbed a soda and chips, and headed to the open register. As I walked up, the cashier called another customer over ahead of me. I waited while he spent several minutes deciding whether to pay cash or by card because of the 4% card fee. I continued standing there with my three items, to the point that I actually set them down and debated walking out. Then, instead of helping me, the cashier motioned for an entire family to come to the registereven though I had been standing there waiting before they arrived. After that, she waved over another customer, and I had to wait while a mother and her two teenagers decided which desserts they wanted. Again, I stood there patiently. When it was finally my turn, there was no greeting, no "thank you for waiting," nothing. The first thing I was asked was, "Do you have a pickup order?" I said no. She then motioned for my chicken salad container, saying she needed it. I placed it on the scale and set my other items on the counter. The cashier then asked, "Are you okay?" I simply shook my head because, honestly, I wasn't. Instead of recognizing why I was frustrated, she continued talking, making comments, and escalating the interaction rather than simply ringing me up. At that point, I asked, "Do you want to argue? Do you want me to go back and forth with you?" I then asked who the manager was. She pointed to a woman beside her, who identified herself as the owner. I asked if she could ring me up instead. Even then, the cashier continued making comments. It was only after she continued engaging me that my voice became louder in response. Rather than addressing the repeated comments from her employee or asking what had happened, the owner immediately said, "Do not raise your voice at my employee." That response was disappointing. There was no concern for the customer experience, no apology for repeatedly being skipped in line, and no attempt to resolve the situation. There was also no acknowledgment that the interaction had been escalated by the cashier's continued remarks before I ever raised my voice. The irony is that I have spent a significant amount of money catering from Frankie's Deli over the years because my customers love the food. Good food will bring people in once. Great customer service keeps them coming back. Sadly, this experience ended that relationship for me. There are plenty of places with great food, but respect and customer service matter just as much. One final thought: this is Florida not NY. Hospitality goes a long way. The aggressive, dismissive attitude I experienced isn't what I expect when supporting a local business. I won't be back.

We ordered a Lina, veggie sub and Luciana, roast beef sub and bottle of water and bottle of tea. The women working were not overly friendly or welcoming. It took a few minutes to get our subs as it got a little busy and one person was making all the sandwiches. We were happily surprised by the sandwiches, they were both pretty good. I especially liked the veggie with pesto and balsamic glaze. The restaurant gives a farm stand feel, with simple decorations. The restroom needed some attention but still worked. Overall OK, we may be back.

The driver began calling me that Angelina's was out of ingredients to make both sandwiches I ordered even though they had just opened and that I need to cancel my order. DoorDash obviously refunded me for the food and the tax but I ended up still having to pay the driver since they went all the way there just for Angelina's to not have the ingredients to make two of their most popular sandwiches. This was my first time ordering and would be trying of Angelina's. Won't be making the mistake again since I've lost money trying to support them. Based on their reviews, the consistently lack the ingredients for their full menu so perhaps not a good call to be a part of DoorDash.
