After I handed over both, and while my own bike was still in their possession,I was told I could only ride the Fast Ripper inside the store. How is that possible? The store has narrow aisles and no straight, open area where anyone could properly evaluate a bike. I found this policy unreasonable and declined the test ride. I collected my bike, ID and credit card and left. Based on this experience, I will not return.

They been scamming for years and years. Everybody in the heights always says do not come here , they just lie to your face, Dominicans just getting drunk watching tv with people who don't even work there, the whole place is disorganized, and every time I talk to victor He is always Drunk. But when Victor, waiting in the street, saw us approach with a loaded bike and flat tire, he grabbed the bike and had it on the repair stand faster than most people say hello. We were riding into Manhattan for a birthday celebration and Victor had us on our way quickly. He even adjusted a brake and offered a bungee cord to help our journey. This guy probably isn't a speed shop, but there are fewer and fewer people like him in the world. Note that he says he's open 360 days a year including New Years... this is clearly his passionate avocation.

I dont drive and was nervous about public transportation during the pandemic. I looked up ebikes in NJ/NY and found Revolve with a NY number and called it. I spoke to a nice man, Tony who took the time to ask me what I was looking for. The bike I wanted he said he was delivering the next day in JC if I wanted to see it in person but he didnt recommend that bike because he said it would be too big for me (Im 5'2"). He told me the "Alex" would be a good fit. If I liked it he would hand deliver it for me the next day and then offered a deal I couldnt refuse. Who does that?! So excited for my new bike he arrived on time. Stayed about 30 minutes to explain the features on the bike and I rode it a bit. This has brought me joy. It rides beautifully. I know its just a bike but I feel some freedom now that I can get around a little without thinking about buses and trains. Nice guy, great bike....I highly recommend.
