The chef was a rat but damn it was so good. I was served good wine, good food with fancy cheese and desert. Food tasted home made. 10/10.

Ted's doesn't bother with any of that nonsense. Ted's just delivers the goods. I've been going there for years, long enough that the rhythm of the place feels like an old blues song you know by heart. I'm the guy who orders the Denver omelette with salsa on the side. Every single time. And every single time it comes out exactly the way it should: fluffy eggs, just the right hit of peppers and ham, the salsa bright and honest, like someone in the kitchen actually gives a damn. No drama. No surprises. Just competence, the rarest ingredient in the restaurant business. Now let's get one thing straight: I'm no pushover. I'm a hardened chowhound, the kind of guy who's eaten enough questionable meals in enough questionable places to know the difference between real food and the kind of grease-slicked heartbreak they sling at certain fast-food counters. You know the type, where the cook is juggling a cigarette, a spatula, and what appears to be a deep philosophical relationship with his own nostrils while your breakfast slowly becomes a medical event. Ted's is not that place. The chicken club, hold the Thousand Island, thank you very much, is a beautiful, no-nonsense stack of poultry and bread that understands its job. The carne asada burrito comes wrapped like a promise and delivers on it with gusto. And the steak sandwich? That one deserves a small standing ovation. They buy good steaks, real steaks, and cook them the way steaks were meant to be cooked: hot, fast, and with respect. In a world full of culinary pretenders and Instagram food that looks better than it tastes, Ted's is rock solid. The kind of place that doesn't need a story, because the food tells it for them.

Updating my review in response to the managers response:…read more I escalated ALL of these to your staff. I even had to ask for a new cup when I told them the soda machine wasn't working, as they just said sorry and walked away. I showed the person who walked by us the eggs and she said "oh, I'm not sure" and walked away from the table. When our plates were taken away, I told them we had a very poor experience. The person said "one moment", walked away, and we wanted 20 more minutes for someone else to show up, but nobody did.

The spicy chicken sandwich was out of this world, and my husband thoroughly enjoyed his cheeseburger, not to mention the beer, battered onion rings, which are hard to come by. We even chatted with other customers who are regulars and bragged about the quality breakfasts that Jacks turns out every day

I've only been here for breakfast so that's all I can really speak to, but I'll say this: their breakfast is superb. This is easily our favorite spot for breakfast/brunch. When I think about American breakfast food, I think hearty and filling, and this place absolutely delivers. Prices are fair, portions are huge, and the quality matches the quantity. It's definitely worth the drive. Whether you're rolling in for a quiet weekday breakfast or a full weekend brunch with mimosas, you'll leave happy and full. Highly recommend.

Things to know - it's DELICIOUS and definitely a GO-TO here in Laguna Niguel. The Wait: Yes, you will wait in line for a bit (I got here around 9:15am on a Saturday am and the line was starting to pick up), but it moved along and I was shocked that I didn't have issues finding seating! I had two puppies with me and we were able to find nice outdoor seating (in the shade, yay!) The Food: I got the guava toffee pancakes (short stack) and a side of Portuguese sausage and coffee. Everything was SO tasty! Also got a kalbi ribs plate. Delicious! The Service: 5 stars. Excellent. The servers went around and were diligent with coffee refills, cleaned up our used plates, and were generally just very on top of it. Can't wait to come back and try more items!! Helpful tips: - Restrooms located outside! - Plenty of seating inside AND outside (which means....dog friendly!!) - Line may be long but worth it! - They have an indoor bakery of items too!

I love the pork belly musubi as well, oh that pork belly is unforgettable, the fat melting in your mouth is something that I look forward to everytime! Although ordering would make me feel pressured at times since the person in the cashier would always make me feel like she is in a hurry, I still love this place! And it's probably because they have a lot of customers too and they have to get the orders quickly so I undertand. Place is nice, a lot of outdoor seating which is very nice. All the staff are nice too, food comes out quick considering the amount of people ordering.

Aside from the obvious plus of being dog-friendly, there's a lot of reasons to like this spot. The bottomless hot coffee or iced tea depending on the day, and the frequent special offers - including free pancake flights and / or BOGO entree deals - when you register a phone number for rewards are noteworthy. The food is also great quality, with lots of healthy (the Garden Harvest Omelette is a favorite) and slightly more calorific (all of the "Bennys") options. Sadly they've at least temporarily lost their best menu item, a Habanero Pork Belly Benny that was so much a default for me that I didn't even need to see a menu before ordering. Hopefully the Bacon Jam famine is short and not recurring. The last great reason to recommend Snooze is the service. Not only are the staff super friendly and professional - especially Cailyn and Joe who are great - but they also work very well as a team during service and it really shows. It's always a pleasure to see restaurants where servers don't just handle their own sections but also help colleagues, as the wait times for food and for drink refills are less and the overall vibe of the place is way more chill. Good culture here, kudos. Expect a wait on the weekends, but weekdays are mostly chill.

Breakfast confirmed Snooze's winning streak of consistently great food and service across its locations. We ordered the bowl and the three egg breakfast.
