This place rates above and beyond your expectations for sure. The family owned restaurant invites you into their restaurant as if it was their home. Wonderful big screen TV so you can watch the world soccer games!!! The Danish menu was full of " made from scratch" cooking. I had the Frikadelle (pork meatball) appetizer with mashed potatoes & Homemade pickled beets & pickles. You'll find no Sysco prepared food here. The place was very clean and has an open view of the kitchen so you can watch this family prepare your meal. Service was impeccably. All around amazing dining experience...I will be back.

Fries were so good I forgot to take the picture until it's almost gone. The meatballs ran away from us.

I was so skeptical on trying out Scandinavian cuisine. However, my husband and I have agreed that we need to branch out our palette and so I picked this place for our date night. The restaurant is located in a strip mall next to a Montessori school. It was a quaint place that runs by a family. Mom is in the front; dad and daughter are in the back. Everyone is friendly and welcoming. We weren't terribly hungry so we ordered fries and meatballs for appetizers. We got the pork schnitzel for our entree. Every thing was so tasty and we ended up taking the schnitzel home. We will come back for other dishes on the menu.

I had a delicious lunch today with my husband. This family owned gem is worth visiting. He had the Jaeger Schnitzel and I enjoyed the breaded cod. The service is excellent! Very warm and friendly.

This restaurant is way off the beaten path in a little strip mall in Laguna Niguel. Hidden gem. That said, the food, service, and ambience speak for itself. It's obviously a family run place with lots of regulars, you really feel like you're having dinner at home here, the food is pure comfort. It so reminded me of dining in small spots in Europe. We started with the pickled herring on rye bread. Personally, this is not a dish that's to my taste-it might be an acquired taste. Nonetheless, it was very well done, the combination of sweet, salty and sour was well executed. The pork meatballs were also very tasty, with good mashed potatoes. I had the lamb shank with mashed potatoes, cooked perfectly tender but not mushy, tasty mash, small portion of three carrots and a little broccoli. The portion was just right. Lentil soup was also good. The pork schnitzel was thin, crispy, and tasty. Service is very personal and friendly, and you could see the owner behind in the kitchen working as chef, and his wife out talking to all the regulars who came in. The daughter helped out bussing the tables. They have seating for about 36 people total. Be sure to make reservations because every table was booked, they turned away several drop-ins while we were there, and they close at 8 pm. If you're looking for simple, approachable food that is well prepared and closer to home cooking than a fancy restaurant, this is your spot. Prices are reasonable and it's a great value for the flavors, service, and vibe.

Copenhagen Corner - After seeing many positive reviews over the past 2 years on various social media platforms, we were in the neighborhood and thought we would try it for lunch. Wow is the first thing that comes to mind. It reminds me of one of those smaller restaurants that you might wander into in another country. This was truly one of the best meals in recent memory. The owner was welcoming and took her time telling us about the menu items. She explained that they make everything fresh including the pickles. The only thing deep fried are French fries. We had the breaded cod and the chicken schnitzel. Both had flavors that were fresh and unique to me. The roast potatoes, red cabbage, remoulade sauce and salad dressing were amazing. The portion sizes were generous. Definitely will go back.

Wow, this place is absolute amazing. The owners have beautiful souls and the food is absolutely amazing. We are persians from Sweden and we really felt like home visiting a danish restaurant. We ordered a lot from the menu and everything we ordered was delicious , you really feel like you're eating homemade food with great quality, they also have a lot of different brands of beer that is European. It's very cozy with comfortable seating. We can't wait to go back .

Excellent restaurant Authentique European style cuisine with a great price selection. They make their own bread (pumpernickel bread) The service was exceptional. The server and part owner was friendly and friendly. She speaks 5 languages. Mona was her name. We truly loved this experience I had the meatball open sandwich. I was instantly transported to Europe. Copenhagen Corner in Laguna Niguel is an authentic, family-owned restaurant known for bringing traditional Danish and Scandinavian comfort food to Orange County. It is widely considered a "hidden gem" located in a quiet strip mall on Niguel Road.

Lovely. We were in need of a better experience food wise for our 22nd anniversary and my better half knew about this Danish place close enough to Crown Valley Pkwy. OK, do not expect a light and airy dining room with white tablecloths and high-end flatware, the place is rather dark and obviously it's all about the menu. We had enough appetite for an appetizer and main course, so chose the smoked salmon on rye bread and the Forloren Hare - Danish Meat Loaf wrapped in bacon, with lingonberry jam, roasted veggies, pickled beets, mashed potatoes, and brown gravy. Both dishes were absolutely delicious and delivered fully on flavor, texture, and also presentation. We did not venture into dessert as we had another place in mind but for genuine Danish fare, this is an awesome destination. Service is personable and friendly, to the point and very little fluff. Kind of my style as a born and raised Dutchman. Highly recommended!

We came here as hubby"s craving for Jaeger schnitzel reached a breaking point. He's not been able to get as much since Jagerhaus shut down. I felt bad for him and put away our groceries in favor of dining out that night. This place is located in a small strip mall (far side) and has really cute décor. After we seated ourselves, we were greeted enthusiastically by a server. It sounds like they get a lot of people who come here for the jaeger schnitzel so hubby wasn't alone in his craving. We ended up going with the marinated herring to start. This was ALL hubby. I did try a bite but marinated fish isn't my jam. It was tastier than I expected but I ceded the entire dish to hubby. I myself ordered the tomato bisque which came piping hot, just the way I like it. For entrees, hubby got his jaeger schnitzel and I went with the pork chop special they had that evening. We thought everything could have used a bit more salt but on the whole, the food was well made and tasty. Will definitely have to come back when the craving strikes.

We really enjoyed our family breakfast . Food was excellent and service was special . The owners certainly care about the food it is served with love We will be back

Complimentary bread. Warm, crisp outside, soft inside, and served with butter on the side. Great bread!

We were in the mood for a taste of Europe given we haven't been back in years, and noticed Copenhagen Corner. Glad we stopped here! This family-run restaurant has a welcoming atmosphere to it. The waitstaff were polite, friendly, and attentive. We ordered the Jaeger Schnitzel and the house salad with house Danish dressing. A tad pricey, but worth it! Very authentic and fresh ingredients! The pickled cabbage was just right! The fry of the Schnitzel was light and crisp, with tender pork. The mushroom gravy was a perfect accompaniment to the cutlet. If you're in the area, worth the visit! They do have specials that I haven't seen in similar restaurants (like their beef bourguignon) so worth keeping an eye out for those!

Ted's doesn't bother with any of that nonsense. Ted's just delivers the goods. I've been going there for years, long enough that the rhythm of the place feels like an old blues song you know by heart. I'm the guy who orders the Denver omelette with salsa on the side. Every single time. And every single time it comes out exactly the way it should: fluffy eggs, just the right hit of peppers and ham, the salsa bright and honest, like someone in the kitchen actually gives a damn. No drama. No surprises. Just competence, the rarest ingredient in the restaurant business. Now let's get one thing straight: I'm no pushover. I'm a hardened chowhound, the kind of guy who's eaten enough questionable meals in enough questionable places to know the difference between real food and the kind of grease-slicked heartbreak they sling at certain fast-food counters. You know the type, where the cook is juggling a cigarette, a spatula, and what appears to be a deep philosophical relationship with his own nostrils while your breakfast slowly becomes a medical event. Ted's is not that place. The chicken club, hold the Thousand Island, thank you very much, is a beautiful, no-nonsense stack of poultry and bread that understands its job. The carne asada burrito comes wrapped like a promise and delivers on it with gusto. And the steak sandwich? That one deserves a small standing ovation. They buy good steaks, real steaks, and cook them the way steaks were meant to be cooked: hot, fast, and with respect. In a world full of culinary pretenders and Instagram food that looks better than it tastes, Ted's is rock solid. The kind of place that doesn't need a story, because the food tells it for them.

The soup came lukewarm, so I sent it back. It came back out hotter and tasted so much better. My husband had the turkey rice soup and it was delicious (I had a taste of it while waiting for mine to be reheated). Chicken marsala was good, however, the sauce was salty. The breakfast potatoes that came with it was good, as well as the steamed vegetables. My husband liked his meatloaf dinner and the mashed potatoes. He said the gravy was a bit salty but not too bad. Would have been 5-star if the sauce wasn't too salty. Service was good. They have many employees in the restaurant so they checked on us often. I believe it's a family-owned restaurant.
