    Double cheeseburger and cheesy fries
    Chris L.

We were driving by Danny's Drive-In after spending the weekend camping in the area. My brothers name happens to be "Danny" and that was a good enough reason for us to stop for lunch. In all, we ordered two double cheeseburgers, cheese fries, chicken fingers, regular fries, and two sodas, which came out to roughly $20. I'm not sure how you can complain about those prices, but apparently some people can. Those prices don't look like they've changed since Danny opened in 1940. That's obviously a joke, but they've actually only gone up a buck over the past 7 years according to another reviewer's picture. That's not bad and, honestly, pretty nice of the local drive in to stay affordable. The food was great considering how inexpensive it was and rivaled any sort of cheap burger I've ever had. You have to order it "with everything". They said that's how they do it so that's how you should eat it. The staff was also very nice and helped us through the menu. If I'm ever in the area again, I'll definitely be back!

Old diner/drive in. Its been there as long as I can remember. My mom says it was there when she was a kid, but they called it The Boulevard. Don't expect anything fancy. We've always gone for the cheeseburger with hot sauce. Be prepared, they're small but good. They taste like I remember. Fries are good. I tried the Honey dipped chicken too, it was good. Be sure to get a jar of hot sauce to take home. And get some ice cream for dessert. Staff if friendly. The decor hasn't changed. I recognize the same wallpaper in the bathroom from when I was a kid.

    Take home a jar

Cheeseburgers with Danny's Hot Sauce. I get one every time I stop here.(they are so good) I also buy a jar of Danny's HOT sauce to take home. Good food, reasonable prices and ice cream. Service is always friendly. Danny's has about five booths and counter service, but you can also order takeout.

This is something really needed and should do well in Schuylkill County PA! Kat's Cafe & Restaurant…read moreis relatively new and has a very interesting and unique menu! Kat brings with her a blend of old classic Polish recipes infused with her own talented modern skills of flavoring! Set in a very comfortable dining area. We ordered the Pierogi dinner which came w/ 9 large pierogies 3 Cheese 3 Home made Sauerkraut and 3meat the Bleenies meal Crispy, golden bleenies (Slavic-style potato pancakes), pan-fried until perfectly browned, with sour cream or apple sauce. U chose applesauce & I ordered a side of Kielbasa! Personally I would have ordered the Bleenies as a side instead of a meal! The Kielbasa was fantastic it's not locally made but it's less fatty and has a great taste! Of course the wife and I kinda shared our meals and we both found the changes very interesting and tasty! The server was very good pretty knowledgeable of the menu and meeting Kat was fantastic because I got to discuss some of her old world knowledge of foods from the Polish and Slavic regions! We're definitely coming back to try out some of Kat's other menu items!

The sauerkraut was finely chopped with a delicate flavor and the fried onion toping was sweet. Then Pork Goulash Bleenie and Chicken Pot Pie as our main meals. They were rich with spices and were very generous portions. Dessert was a crepe with Nutella and strawberries to end our perfect meal. Would definately recommend and will come again to try more of the vast selection on the menu.

Seriously, you could navigate through one of these with your eyes closed. Once you've been in one Cracker Barrel, you've pretty much been in them all, and that's not necessarily a bad thing. They're almost always located right off of a highway exit, and what you find there is exactly what you expect. The closest thing to an old school diner experience that you could expect. The menu has gone through some changes over the years. I think they recently added Uncle Herschel's breakfast back which was actually a really big deal to me because that was always my thing. Just like getting the Rooty Tutti Fresh and Fruity from IHOP mainly because I like saying that. Appetizers are fantastic! Fried pickles are a little salty but oh so tasty! The beignets are really good. They now have a cinnamon bun skillet which is great. It looks a little terrifying in the menu because you think it's way bigger than it is, but it's a decent size to split between three or four people, so it makes a great high carb okay, it's a pure carbohydrate appetizer and it's worth it. Typically it's a friendly atmosphere, kitschy ambiance, kids love to play the peg game, comfy rocking chairs outside if you have to wait a while. It's full of controversy over their logo for some stupid reason that I think was actually generated by bots and not real human beings. I'm not upset with logo changes. I enjoy the restaurant. I enjoy the people who work there. I enjoy the people who sit near me at the tables, and I certainly enjoy going there with my family.
