The guys in the wash bay did a great job getting all the bugs off my truck. And the service guys balanced my new steers once the wash was done. My boss was concerned that the balance would be pricey since this Danny's was sold and is now owned by the TA chain, but it was very reasonable! I'm sure word will spread about it no longer being Danny's since so many drivers talk about it. The good news is, the grill is still open. Bad news is they have apparently gotten rid of their CBs and a lot of their chrome. I have no idea if they're gonna put any of it back. read more

I travel the country with an enclosed car hauler with a big old elevator door on the back. As you can imagine, some of the older cars I move, have some "bathroom issues" ha ha. Twice a year or so I need to have my trailer degreased on the inside. It's a huge job as you can imagine. I have not found a place in the entire country to get this accomplished better than Danny's. Raul and his team are professional, super organized, and work like crazy little beasts to get my trailer grease free and squeaky clean. I'm giving two stars, because I think I'll eventually get my van washed. Been sitting in line for 2 hours. There were only 2 trucks ahead of me. There's no rhyme or reason to how they choose which truck/van/hunk of junk to wash next. If you pick the wrong line and you get stuck watching an elderly gentleman spray each granule of dirt off the vehicles in front of you, an hour at at a time, it's your fault! You're screwed! Cancel your plans for that evening and be sure to have ample gas unless you wanna run out while roasting in this wild heat. Place sucks! You'd be better off ramming your rig into the nearest car wash that only has a 7' clearance and just dealing with the consequences. Trust me, both instances would be just about equally terrible! Their pricing philosophy seems like it's, we'll get what we can get! Their pricing sheet clearly has a line with a check box that says, "RV Motor Homes .... $1.50/ft" (Shown). I have a Sprinter Airstream "Class B" RV. My license plate starts "RV" on the plate identification which was issued by the state. Instead of $36, they charged a flat $55.00. I didn't realize any of this until after I paid. When I objected, they said it wasn't an RV. Believe me if you would take a look at this, you would know it is an RV. Then going through 40 minutes and supposedly 3 managers, I was told by another manager standing behind a different counter that they don't make refunds. Now, they haven't washed my RV yet, but they don't make refunds. The manager behind the cash register said, she needed a password to refund the money. But he said, they don't make refunds. TRACTOR BRAKES are not within the scope of safety requirements. I said my brakes are fairly new. The mechanic showed me a terribly worn brake pad and said they were all that bad. I was shocked, so he put new brakes on my tractor. Upon completion, I asked for all the worn pads. Odd, the recycler had come and taken away all the brake parts. Walking around, I spotted a big tote full of brake parts. I was lied to and cheated. read more

Danny's used to be a great place, not anymore. $200 truck wash, & still dirty spots all over the place afterwards, $34 for a shower(including a $10 towel deposit) and still had to pay to park in a dirt lot. Professional drivers, this one is for you. As we drive down the road we dream of a quiet place to park that has Amenities that will fill our needs and wants. These places are rare and hard to find, hence this review. I don't know about y'all but paid parking, as sad as it is, is a more and more common thing and we are left to deal with it even after spending 800 plus dollars on fuel. But alas, we expect quiet when it comes to paid parking. So I offer you Danny's Big Rig Resort. Off the bat let's just start buy saying. This is not a fuel stop. But there is a Flying J right across the street. Then why don't I just pay for parking there? Well this is 6 bucks cheaper and a lot quieter. No traffic in and out all not long because there isn't a fuel island. There is not a restaurant, but again, Dennys at the Flying J. Here's what Danny's does offer. Truck wash, polishing, service, alignment, some covered parking for the truck and trailer(first come first serve), confident store, chrome shop(not the best, but still there) showers, laundry, clean bathrooms, trailer washout, nice drivers lounge, easy accessibility to I-10, and many other services. I only allowed 4 stars for the lack of some good diner style eats. I did. It deduct for no fuel due to the Flying J and the quiet due to the lack of a fuel island. The was bay is awesome they do a great job. The parking has more room so your not crammed to back into your parking spot. This is not dirt lot parking. Room to navigate easily is really nice. The folks that offer this place have thought a lot of things thru for the driver. That's rare and I will be a return customer. read more

I pulled into the wash line at 1400 there was 3 trucks in front plus one in the bay. At 1900 I pulled into the wash bay at 2015 they told me was done. I pulled my truck out only to find out it was only half washed if you been thru a lot of snow and ice you know what I mean. So they had me back in so they could finish. I pulled the truck back out again they did not use brighter which I paid for and the truck looks horrible. I paid $112.00 for this so called great wash that too over 6 hours. Never again read more

Just horrible. Truckers stay away! I asked for a trailer wash out that needed floor cleaned. These guys charged me 40.99 for 5 min work. When i complained and said " you just wet the trailer " Joseph the manager said "Yeah, thats what a wash out is." The audacity to leave a customer unsatisfied and not willing to resolve the issue was the final straw for me. They left my trailer dirty the same way it came in and their total " not care attitude" by not wanting to refund me or correct the situation was a slap in the face. The price was $57.00 for a standard wash (no extras) seems high (Blue Beacon was $45.00) but a good job done overall. I've eaten here a number of times since retiring to the Phoenix area, My drivers loved this place and now I understand why. The kitchen is small, but the food is first-rate. Even if you're not driving a "big rig," the food is good enough to go out of your way for. Today, I had the "Daily Special," a carne asada burrito. My friend had the quesadilla. Both came with homemade refried beans and spanish-style rice. Drinks were Coca-Cola products. Portion sizes were excellent and the drinks were bottomless. With tip, lunch for two was under $20.00. I can also recommend the homemade chips and salsa, the "Grande Burrito" for breakfast and the "Big Rig Burger." I can honestly say I've never had a bad meal here. For Truckers: a) If you're addicted to chrome, they have a HUGE chrome shop; the biggest I've seen west of the Iowa 80 (truckers will know what I'm talking about). They have a repair shop and a radio shop. They also wash and wax your rig by HAND!!. The price is reasonable and my drivers swore by their work; b) The showers are CLEAN and HUGE. Danny's gives you a washcloth and a couple of towels. It's worth the $10; c) Parking ain't cheap. In fact, they now only sell parking spaces on their lot for 24 hrs. It's better than the Flying J across the street (the "J" has a "no dropped trailers" policy). Danny's does allow dropped trailers and they do have a security patrol (in a golf cart). My guys used to drop their trailers (with a pin lock and glad hand locks) and bobtail to Walmart (on 75th Ave) to stock up on groceries. Truckers, BEWARE!! Phoenix, AZ has a 9.3% (6.6% state + 2.7% local) sales tax on all non-edible items and even a 1.5% food tax on groceries!! read more

Paid $102.97 for truck and trailer to be washed, when I left there were still bugs on the windshield and all my windows and mirrors were streaked with soap. We like coming here, especially if we can get a parking spot under the "canopy" area, parking is about $12 I believe. Not bad at all, (tax deductible) truck wash is pretty good, they don't usually have the crazy long lines that go down the street like Blue Beacon, they do a pretty good job here. Haven't really tried much of there cafe they have here, for a sandwich once and it wasn't bad, but I'm not a big sandwich lover at all. Employees are very nice and helpful. Showers and laundry here too. Pretty much a little bit of everything at Danny's. Couple food places across the road, can't forget Uber Eats, tons of options with that to deliver. So me and my wife are here for the weekend got the truck washed , after all said and done . They have missed a lot of spots . Worthless. Hello, unfortunately, Danny's has changed their good service to be strange and unusual, my last visit to them in order to replace the coolant hose for air compressor which cost $41 for the part, they refused to accept my part and they asked me to get that part from their shop, and they asked me to wait 1 hour and 30 minutes before they start working with my truck waiting for their phone call. Unfortunately, I spent 4 hours waiting for nothing and i decided to go back to the office to see what is going on, and I found that they never involved in any attempt to get the part of even set up the plan to work on my truck, so I asked about what is going on? ((they said we will call right now to get that part which will cost $300, and your total Chages should be no less than $900)). I was disappointed because I always trust those guys and their job but after what happened I noticed they disrespected my waiting time and trying to give me extremally expensive price for the part, I decided to find another shop to fix my truck in the future, I also found that the level of the engine oil was low when I changed last time with them. they have changed a lot and getting really expensive even the dealer has better price. I feel sorry to say that I do not recommend their service to anyone. read more

Worst place ever guys don't go there I just spent $1,100 on tiers 3 months ago, got back to the place because those tires had bad wear so my second time they changed out one tire saying it's factory default so driving down the road now I'm starting to have wear on the driver side because they didn't want to change both tires when I was in, I'm in for the 3rd time same problem same everything and now all of sudden it's my 2016 truck. Basically they took my money pull me around by the time I got back to Phoenix and it's not just easy like that to go wherever you feel like I lost my warranty my truck is basically bad they took the money made a fool out of me. The whole place is crooked basically they'll do anything to get your cash after that if you get there to complain or anything goes wrong you going end up just like me and probably 90% of costumers they served.
