And I think that might have been our downfall. We went the breakfast route and started with a Cinnamon roll made right on the griddle. It created this crispy char that gave the roll more of a funnel cake texture. Unique,and the icing definitely enhances it (as it does most cinnamon rolls). Their special breakfast sandwich, "The Morning Wake-up" touts a "2x the size English Muffin" and they were not lying. What it needed... sauce, syrup, aioli or something to lubricate all of those toppings. The breakfast potatoes on the side needed salt/seasoning/sauce, too, to be more to my liking. It was a similar experience with my wife's Reuben and the fries that she ordered; the sandwich had its moments, but it made me wish one of us got a burger like most of the other patrons.
