OH Pizza & Prime has a lot of potential, but our recent visit was a mixed bag. The interior is beautiful--modern, comfortable, and definitely gives the impression of a place you'd want to linger. The wait staff was fine, nothing over the top but polite and attentive enough. The big issue of the night was the pizza. It took about 45 minutes to come out, which was surprising given the restaurant wasn't very busy. Unfortunately, when it finally arrived, the center was undercooked and raw--a real disappointment. Management was very understanding and offered to make another, but with the time already invested we couldn't wait around for a second attempt. On the positive side, the appetizers were really good, and the wings were spot-on--crispy, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. That alone makes me want to give them another chance. Overall, not the best first impression, but I'll chalk it up to an off night. I'll be back to try again, hoping the pizza comes out as good as the rest of the menu. read more

The Chicken Coop salad was a good size. The restaurant was clean and well lite. We were seated quickly and our server was very good. They have 2 dining areas, one with pool tables and a bar. We were there at noon on Sunday and it was very family friendly. Every table was busy. read more

Went here on a weekday afternoon. Very long wait times so don't go here if you have plans. Started getting busier after we sat down, but we saw a table get served before us when they arrived after us. My brother liked his burger and fries. I love that the pizza take out boxes are cardboard so it's more sustainable. They also use metal trays for the pizzas and burgers so that's cool. Recyclable and unique. Sadly I think the pizzas were messed up. They are supposed to use a sweet tomato sauce, but both pizzas tasted weirdly spicy like they added hot sauce so that made it difficult to enjoy. First things first... I'm glad I came here with someone local. Fortunately as I did not realize that this place existed even after passing by it several times. This place gets packed with a fun crowd and seems to definitely be the place to go for good food,service and atmosphere. Definitely worth the stop. This is a great spot to eat in Marengo. We have been a couple of times and everytime has been a good experience. This last time we went we had a large group. Surprisingly we were seated right away as they seemed busy. The food is tasty. I usually end up getting the beef and noodles because it is so good. It has a lot of flavor and the perfect comfort food. There is a bar and sports area and then there is the main dining room. The service is pretty fast and the staff is friendly. We googled the nearest restaurant and this came up. I wasn't sure at first considering it was kinda old and dilapidated on the out side. It was actually nice inside and kinda had the clientele of being at Walmart. The staff was very friendly and way understaffed though. Our water did a good job for having as many tables as he did. We started with the Philly Cheesesteak Egg Rollls. They were delicious, I would have preferred may or horseradish sauce compared to A1. Just a personal preference. We had the prime burger with fresh cut fires and it was good and nothing better than anything else. It was just a good burger. We also had a salad it was huge but pretty basic for what they charge. It was mostly lettuce and cheese. Pretty boring to be honest. The Hattie B pizza was probably the best thing we had. Nashville Hot Chicken, Pickles, Cheddar Cheese and Ranch. It was better than average, but nothing more. If ever back in the area and this was the only place to eat, I'd probably stop. There are much better options 20 to 30 min away though. We had a group of about 20 on a Wednesday evening (we called to arrange in advance). OH Pizza & Prime did an amazing job hosting our group! The staff were wonderful, keeping beverages and food flowing, everything was timely, and the food was great. I had a side salad and a small spicy ezzo pizza. Excellent! Some in our group ordered two appetizers for their meal- the portions were plentiful. Wednesday was wing night, my friend said her dry rub wings were great! No pics for this, our group was busy catching up with each other review, but a strong recommendation that you check this place out! read more

Great food, but the service is a hit and miss. Last night was bad. Just the 4 of us. Place our drink and orders. Got our drinks and appetizers. Got our food, except my wife didn't get hers and the orders was wrong. Had to wave our waiters down. The waiter mess up the orders. Forgot to put my wife order in. Put in the wrong wing sauce . Order Thai Chili and got Hot sauce. The waiter states that she put the order in correctly, but the manger got it wrong... so put the blame on the manager and not herself. Should have checked to make sure the order is correct before it heads to the table. We have been coming here every once a month and we are now start to avoid which waiters to get. Found out about this place and thought we would give it a try. It's down the road on 71N off the art. 62 exit. You can see it from the bright red roof. Inside is nice and rustic feeling with wood and brick. Nice and inviting. Hubby got an unsweetened tea and they had no sweetener at all. Guess they ran out. Brought him a little cup of sugar. We started off with Cheesesteak rolls. Came out with Mayo and an Awesome sauce. Nice and crispy with cheese and the steak wrapped inside. Very tasty with mayo and the Awesome sauce. I ordered some boneless chicken with 3 sauces. Honey BBQ, Mango Habanero, Carolina Gold. Wings were good favorite sauce was the Gold sauce just went well with the wings. Hubby ordered I-670 pizza. Pizza came out looking good. Crust not too thick or thin. Plenty of toppings. He enjoyed it but not his favorite pizza. We enjoyed our meal but not anything that blew us away. We will be back to try a burger since Tuesdays I guess is only tacos. So we will be back to try again. And maybe sit out on the nice patio on a weekend. read more

What a great find! My husband and I were staying at a nearby campground in our RV; our last night of a 4-month road trip and I just didn't feel like cooking! The place was hopping at 5:30 on a Thursday but we were seated promptly. It was a bit loud but not too loud for conversation. Everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves. Blake was our server and he was FANTASTIC! He took the time to go over the beer and bourbon selections and answered any questions we had. He was so friendly and patient even though he had a bunch of other tables he was serving. We split a Hawaiian "Kauai" pizza. It was just a bit spicy and was balanced nicely with the sweet pineapple. Ordered take out on a busy Friday nite. 2 Italian subs and fries. The take out packaging was thoughtful and protected the subs from getting soggy. Each sub was protected by foil and the toppings for the subs were packaged on the side. The fries were on parchment paper in the containers and this prevented them from getting soggy as well. Normally, take out containers make the food soggy from the condensation. Also toppings aren't usually separated. The effort that was made by Ohio Prime in the take out order shows they care about what and how they serve their food. Highly recommend!! read more

We sat at the bar and ordered off the draft menu. 20oz beers for about the same price as a pint in Columbus - great deal! We ordered the Hattie B's pizza, having visited a Nashville location and enjoying that chicken. We waited quite a while for our pizza, considering the restaurant wasn't super crowded. However, our pizza was worth the wait. I wasn't expecting as much garlic as there was, but I won't say no. The chicken was a great flavor and spice but nothing unbearable. The wings weren't even wings, they're mere chicken tenders covered in sauce, not to mention they came out 15 minutes after the rest of the food at our table because "they weren't done yet", but yet they arrived at room temp... Had to wait 30 minutes just to order one of the beers and when the waiter took our food order, he made us shout across the table (and our friends) what our order was because he refused to walk over to us, despite the large table and loud volume of the bar area. This is usually a decent stop. Right off of I-71 makes for a quick in and out, however it's often VERY busy because of that, and the fact that there's literally nothing else for miles around. Pizza's are okay, quality cooking but you can tell it's just premade quick ingredients from GFS or something. Meats are a bit better though, steaks and sandwiches are solid. Service is okay usually, but no one goes above and beyond. Good for a bite if you want, but don't make this a destination lol. read more

In Marengo, we don't have too many options up here. This location has been at least 3 different restaurants in the last 10 years that never lasted. We LOVE Ohio Pizza and Prime. Let me tell you why! 1. Food: this place is phenomenal. The pizza is great, always fresh and when they get backed up, it can take awhile, but it is always worth the wait. Plus they offer a killer gluten free pizza crust that doesn't taste like recycled cardboard. (Check out that pic!) We've tried their wraps, salads, pizzas, appetizers and most of their desserts and it's always been great. The added delivery feature to the area was sorely needed and much appreciated! 2. Well another restaurant in Morrow county that is a crap shoot. Maybe you'll get your order maybe you won't. Twice now they have taken way to long (this time over 80 minutes) and when I tell them to never mind my order miraculously appears. OH Pizza and Prime is a fantastic place to eat! They have great burgers, fries and apps. I didn't love their pizza, but it was still decent. Their branding needs a little help as the sign outside says 'Legacy' which is the former restaurant. Their parking lot could be better and the hostess station is a little too close to the front door and makes an odd bottleneck. Really minor things though. Come to Marengo and hang out at OH! read more
