In July, I discovered that we had serious wood rot issues and reached out to several contractors. Ezequiel was not the least expensive but I recognized immediately his absolute dedication to doing quality work. Oddly, he doesn't put his contracts in writing and normally that would be a nonstarter for me ... especially with fronting half of the $ up front! But I reached out to former customers and you just get a sense of Ezequiel's integrity when talking with him . We shook hands on the deal and it was one of the best decisions ever. Ezequiel told me up front that I likely had additional wood rot that I hadn't yet discovered. Our upfront deal included replacing all the cosmetic (not structural) wood rot on the house, building brand new shutters, and painting the house. Structural wood rot discovered wood be separate. He did indeed find major structural wood rot and his price to fix that was very fair. I really feel that someone without Ezequiel's integrity would have gouged me on that. I was so pleased with the work that we did another handshake deal to build out a screened in patio under my deck. Overall my wife and I are thrilled with the work and recommend Ezequiel to everyone. The key differentiator with him is the pride in the work. He doesn't cut corners when the customer would never know. He would know . He wants the work to be done thoroughly and right.

He came to my home the next day, went up into the attic, climbed on my roof, noticed a leak (totally unrelated to my phantom visitor) and applied sealant. He went above and beyond to find the source of the critter, and again, while doing so advised me of other situations at my home (i.e., the leak). When I asked him what I owed him, he said nothing...because he wasn't able to find the squirrel/bird/? That is excellent customer service. If I were to review myself, however, I would get not even one star. Dan and I talked about other things he does and we thought he would be a good fit re: doing some side work as he is a craftsman as well. I reached out several times and never received a response. I thought it was really odd because we talked about other plans for my house...I was really excited! I finally realized that I forgot to send him $$$ for the time he spent and effort he went to find the source of the activity in my home and for climbing around on top of my roof and applying sealant to when the leak was. The person they sent out stayed over 12 hours when I was told the work would take 3-4- the majority of which he struggled with the pocket door. The shelves and front door frame are perfect but the pocket door literally fell off the top hinges and scraped the inside of the door compartment anytime it was used. When I contacted the manager of this company, he apologized and agreed to send somebody out to fix the door. Well, he sent somebody but didn't notify me that he was so I wasn't home when the handyman arrived. Despite repeated attempts to reach them and set up another time for them to come out and fix what should've been fixed the first time, I have gotten no reply for weeks. I wish I'd spent the extra $200 to hire somebody else originally. Sometimes you get what you pay for, so if you're looking for half-assed work and shitty communication these are the people for you. In response to the owner: your company had so many opportunities to do the right thing. It shouldn't take me seeking out a new method of communicating with you to get the work done. He also gave us fair pricing and was very thorough. While there, we asked about our stairs and our deck. He quickly provided is a detailed and professional quote by the afternoon. There were two different crews who did the fence and the stairs. Both crews were professional and did a great job on the fence and stairs but also did a great job cleaning up. If you did not know, you would not have been able to tell they had been there except for the quality craftsmanship. While they were working on the stairs, I asked about replacing the railings on the deck. Within 45 minutes, not only did they have an estimate for the railings, they had the lumber delivered and were already working on it. These guys do great work and for any exterior projects, I will be using these guys. My neighbors installed a fence next door with a different crew and it is obvious our fence looks much better and the quality of work is exceptional. Highly recommend these guys.
