The service is great-- Woodhouse and Massage Envy can't compare. Today I did Couple's Massage, mani pedi, and dermaplaning with mini facial and at the start of every service the tech would greet me with a glass of water, which I thought was thoughtful that they want me to stay hydrated. And the location is excellent, lots of restaurants to go to afterwards.

I made the appointment and came in and after the massage I was told that there had a price increase and I was charged $50. They said that they just hand out a blank gift card, and the person who buys it are the ones that fill it in. But I know the handwriting on the gift certificate was not my friend's handwriting. They were completely dismissive Beyond that, the bathroom looks and feels like a mall or airport bathroom. I could hear a phone ringing in my treatment room. Lola was nice and her massage was better than average. I guess she wasn't watching the clock, because she ran out of time and stopped abruptly before working both sides of my body evenly. She told me I should book a 90 minute massage next time. I won't be back though.

This place is beyond five stars and serves more than a business but a true community and mission…read more Dr Bruno is a top professional in his industry. It is clear that he is very passionate about what he does. He is always researching and experimenting while serving and educating others. I have been learning about holistics, health and biohacking since 2010 when I was diagnosed with SLE lupus. And when I found Dr Bruno, I was elated. Colon hydrotherapy is important for healing from the inside out and Dr Bruno is just top of his game. I feel very blessed to have met him on my journey to health. Of the hundreds of different professionals I have met at health conferences, holistic services, western medicine, hospitals, all over the nation and international, Dr Bruno is just a hidden gem. I learn so much from Dr Bruno. Regenesis has been an integral part of my successful journey of overcoming lupus, staying off meds and living a pain free, happy life. I am actually healthier than most of the people I know that have never had any health issues. That says a lot given my "death sentence" that my Western doctors said I won't live past 26. I was bedridden for a year after my first flare at 21 and on a ridiculous amount of meds for a 21 year old. I was in so much pain and couldn't even remember my doctors appointments. I had no dreams, no motivation and it was just a dark time of no hope. I couldn't even button up my blouse (even I had the energy to change clothes at all) and showering was like climbing Mount Everest. As of this writing, I'm 33 and living the life. I could go to work (even have a job feels like a blessing!), I could remember everything like a normal person, and I could enjoy life for what it is. I owe a large part of that to taking care of myself with colon hydrotherapy (Regenesis) from the inside out and keeping up with maintenance. I have been to colon hydrotherapies before and I will just say that I travel three hours to see Dr Bruno. I have been going to Dr Bruno since 2017 and I always look forward to it. He is a wonderful, kind and loving human being. He is very passionate and cares about others. His new place in Bastro has great energy and it is beautiful and cozy. It is definitely worth the drive and is nice to get away to a beautiful place with a gorgeous natural setting of tall woods. I just suggest resting a bit afterwards because the session can be intense.

Additionally, I won't tell you that it had to do with my gluteus maximus region or anything of that nature because you probably don't want to know about that. I also won't tell you that I met with Rocco Bruno (best name ever) because you will inevitably figure out what my procedure was, and that would just be too embarrassing for me. What I will tell you is that I feel like a much lighter and cleaner person all around because of my visit. Rocco was professional and friendly and made me feel as comfortable as I could possibly be in a time like that. I want to spread the word and give this guy some Yelp props for doing the type of work that he does and doing it well. That is all I will & won't say for now.

I am a fan of True Rest floats. The float experience is absolutely wonderful in terms of stress…read morereduction and a general feeling of calm well-being, and the atmosphere at True Rest, both before, and after your float, enhances that feeling. In my recent visit, I tried their Vitality Suite, which consists of a combo of infrared sauna, red light therapy, and a cold plunge. The attendant was very nice as she described the process. Unlike the float, which has an automatic timer built in, the vitality suite experience is one in which you are expected, or at least encouraged, to watch the clock. I wondered whether 45 minutes might actually be too long, but it was not. Not at all, actually. By the time I showered, got heated up in the sauna, and got myself into the cold plunge, which is very, very cold, the clock said I was 36 minutes into my 45! Since I had seen no other customers, I didn't think anyone would be pounding on the door, but still, I felt constrained and not relaxed at having to watch the clock. I tried the red light therapy, but felt no sense that it was doing anything for me. Maybe my cells were regenerating without my knowledge. So back into the sauna, then back into the cold plunge, and by then I was well over my time. When I was showered and dressed, I saw the attendant had just come to check on me, but I didn't really feel any time pressure, except what was self-imposed. But that still made the experience less relaxing than it should've been. The elegant one-person sauna was nicer than the one I use at my gym, and the cold plunge was much colder, which was bracing. But overall, I was not especially impressed with the vitality suite since it is pretty much what I already do at my gym. I would come back and pay the pricey price for floats at True Rest, but the vitality suite experience did not work for me.

The float itself was good, a strange sensation, but I can see why people love it (especially after a few times to get used to it). My biggest problem was that the light switch inside my pod didn't work, and that triggered a little bit of my panic reflex. I ended up cracking the pod open a couple times to calm myself down, and that detracted from the experience.
