We had a dish install recently... The technician broke our sound system. Back and forth with their insurance person to be told that they would only pay about 20% of value even though system worked before he touched it. Out of frustration my husband called Dan's. I needed to mount my plasma tv to my living room wall. I didn't notice a lot of reviews but after speaking with Dan, I felt he was very qualified and had a good knowledge of what it would take. He was quite meticulous in his approach,, measure twice , cut once, and he made sure the mount was level, centered and in perfect position to center the mount. I was really pleased after he mounted the tv, it looked far better than it ever did sitting on my tv cabinet, and it was fully articulated up , down and side to side. Due to some international programming changes late last year, I needed to switch from DirecTV to Dish. So I had the original DirecTV installers come out (out of town company referred to me by the builder of our home), and despite two days of efforts, they were unable to match the number of channels I had with DirecTV. They said they could get reception, but could not get one of the satellite signals into my home, and gave up. To be fair to them, I live in a heavily wooded area where satellite reception is difficult - to the point that I needed 3 satellite dishes to get all of the DirecTV channels I paid for. After a few months of frustration paying for Dish channels I couldn't receive (because of bundled programming packages), including a lot of HD and sports channels, I decided to give Dan a call. He came out late in the afternoon that same day, and after spending 20 minutes walking around the exterior of my home checking satellite reception areas, confidently said he could fix my problem. So I asked him when his next available time slot was (it was a couple days later) and made an appointment. He came out and spent a few hours; first re-positioning 2 of my 3 dishes, re-cabling them, and also cleaned up the rest of the cabling for my installation - turned out some of the cables were superfluous or redundant. The result - I now get ALL of the Dish channels crystal clear. I certainly recommend Dan, and he will be the first guy I call in the future. Thanks Dan! read more

Dan was scheduled to do a repair in connection with the Samsung top loading washer recall. He was indescribably rude and condescending every time I spoke to him. He belittled me for having to change my appointment time, ranted at me at how "inconsiderate" the people receiving the Samsung recall repair were, and was so disorganized that he actually called to scold me for missing an appointment that I had rescheduled with him earlier that day. I honestly didn't feel comfortable having him in my home while my spouse was away at work. I hope he learns how to demonstrate respectable customer service in the future, but for now I can only say I am extremely dissatisfied and wouldn't recommend him to anyone for any type of service read more
