Dan and Carlos were amazing! They were on time coming to my house to check out my tv. They handle all my furniture with care as they moved things around to work. They were careful, neat, polite and super friendly! Dan answered all our questions and made sure we understood what our TV needed in order to be fixed. He gave me a quote that wasn't just numbers, but broke it down so we could see the cost of the parts and labor. AND! He didn't have to run out to go get parts, he came prepared with all the tools, material and man power he needed to get the job done quickly and efficiently. I have an older Sony TV which works perfectly, except it recently wouldn't turn on. I didn't want to automatically get a new TV without first making sure my TV couldn't be fixed. I have a 7 year old 65" Samsung and it started turning itself off after 20 min of viewing. Dan worked me into his already packed schedule and came out on a Saturday morning making me his first stop. He ended up taking the TV into his shop for repair and left me with a ready to go loaner. Who does that these days? Dan did and the while the TV needed parts, I watched my shows without complaint. He then came back at the time he said would, reset up my TV and left everything in working order. Had Dan check out a Samsung 32" tv. He was responsive to calls and texts. Personable and knowledgeable in latest technology such as 4K. Theres a tv estimate fee but he credits toward total cost of repair. End up not fixing the tv because he advised cost of repair outweighs price of another tv the same size. My TV conked out last year in July. Dan came out and looked at it and said it was a power supply problem. The cost to repair versus buy a new TV indicated to just get another TV. Dan sold me an older Plasma TV that he said he had repaired and was good. I bought that for $350 from him. It lasted until January when it died. Since Dan had given me a 1 year warranty I called him up to fix it. It took about a week until he came out to get it. He had it for another 2 to 3 weeks repairing it. He did provide me with a loaner TV but it also died after about a week - another power supply problem. He brought me back the "repaired" Plasma TV and it lasted about another 5 days before it died again - once again a probable power supply problem. I once again called Dan and said I was pretty frustrated with the whole situation. I proposed a solution that I would just buy a new TV and that he would refund me half of the $350 I originally paid to make good on this. He agreed. I bought a new TV but never heard from Dan again or received any reimbursement from him. Dan is a nice guy but the level of service and the quality left a lot to be desired. One of the lessons I learned from all of this is the fact that the modern day TVs are more or less disposable after about 2 to 3 years. They are not built to last very long, particularly if they get heavy usage. With the prices of new ones having come down over the years repairing them doesn't make a lot of sense. Better to just buy a new one. read more

I'm not one to leave a Bad Review, but I felt the need to let future customers know on how poorly I was treated by Dan. Upon researching TV Repair Shops in my area, I found Dan's TV Repair to be the most reputable. When I first called I was treated with great professionalism by the Customer Service Representative and felt welcomed as he took the time to go over with me the situation with my DLP TV. He assured me, I would receive a call from Dan himself in approx 15 mins after we first spoke. The timing was on point, and Dan called me within that time frame. I spoke with him for about 2 min discussing the situation with my TV, and then once he asked if I had removed the screws from the back of my television, and I replied yes, he became very rude and hung up on me. His exact words were "I can not talk to you any longer due to a new policy about the TV repair. I even tried to just ask a simple follow up question, and he couldn't wait to get me off the phone. I am extremely disappointed in how I was treated and did nothing to deserve being hung up on so rudely. I had such high hopes after reading the great reviews and giving them my business. He arrived on time and diagnosed the problem as some burned-out transistors, which he said is not uncommon for a 3-5 year-old TV. We called Dan...he came the next day ready to put in a new lamp light only to find out it was a loose switch.
