Everyone is knowledgeable and friendly. Having somewhere to go when you have questions or need support is super valuable and they've gone above and beyond for me. My e-bike had some mechanical issues and though it took some serious work on their end, everything was fixed and I've been good for thousands of miles. Tune ups are well worth it and though it might be a little cheaper to buy online I'd much prefer to keep an LBS like this around for years to come.

They refused saying the price has gone up since I bought my paddle on sale. I would have to pay the difference. I had to dance through hoops and spend one and a half hours arguing with various managers (in store and on the phone) before we worked out a deal. Big 5 needs to treat its customers better.

This store carries lots of local goods and books and maps on the Tucson area for hiking ,etc. What I love is the salespeople are friendly and patient as well as knowledgeable.
