The lasagna and spaghetti & meatballs seem tacked on the menu like an afterthought. I didn't see any menu items that I can't get anywhere else. Stiff competition in this category - there are some very good Italian restaurants in Slidell. That said, Joe's definitely has the potential to be a solid 4-stars. Historically this location has been two-stars at best, but they have a new manager recently and things are noticeably improved. They still screw up (stuff happens, right?) but they are good at acknowledging the mistakes and making them right. The only consistent problem I encounter is the timing - the app promises a pickup time and then the pizzas are seldom ready when I get there. If I order early in the day for a specific pickup time the pies will be ready. If I order from the house for ASAP then I can expect to wait beyond the projected time from the app. Your results may vary. Nothing happening is going to drive me away.
