Came in here recently with my family and it was a great experience. First of all, they have plenty of parking which us always a plus. The inside of the restaurant is also very spacious. I ended up getting a slice of their pizza and a Caesar's salad. The salad was okay and the pizza was also fine. My partner got the wings and I wish I had done the same because they were really good. The salad was just too salty for me and the pizza sauce was really sugary tasting but I did love that I got to choose the toppings I wanted. The prices were fair and the service was top notch. We enjoyed ourselves as much as any restaurant visit in recent memory. Rotolo's has a varied menu with a lot of creative dishes I have never seen before. Try the Brussels sprout salad. Fabulous! (and I don't really like Brussels sprouts but I keep trying them just in case). Our server was Gabrielle and she was great. Friendly, answered all our questions, she stayed with us but wasn't ever intrusive or hovering. There's a long list of draft beers - craft beers are in the name and they have a wide variety. Just get over here already. I feel that this place has been consistent in its hospitality and tasty food options. Every time I have eaten at the bar and every time the ladies who have served me have been friendly and helpful with the menu options. First off, they have many places to seat your various sized groups and there is a bar to sit and eat if you prefer. There are gluten and vegan options as well. Which I must add that it's so hard to come by my with a restricted diet and it's often not fair that we get overlooked when dining out there isn't enough places to help our very sensitive stomachs but this place has surprised me. We came through and stopped at Rotolo's for a quick lunch and had the best experience! Not only was the food absolutely delicious but the service was wonderful. Our waitress was so kind and accommodating to our two little boys (and us of course but keep the kids calm and happy, IYKYK). Okay - First of all - this place has a new name - Rotolo's Craft and Crust AND has gone through a menu/cooking change incorporating experiences and insights from authentic European cooking schools and has combined that with a goal of becoming a purveyor of fine craft beers - on a rotating basis. And I think they are pulling it off quite nicely. My entire experience today was excellent from beginning to end. Clean, sleek looking interior design, warm and professional staff, prompt and attentive service, great food selection within their chosen genre. I ordered the Greek Salad which was delicious, generously portioned, and did NOT skimp on the Kalamata Olives (Thank you) as is all to often the case. The lettuce and other vegetables were fresh and crisp and the balsamic dressing was nicely balanced. Along with that I ordered the Garlic Parmesan Bites - which were just perfect - all by themselves - but the salsa di pomodoro offered a nice option for dipping. And these were paired with a craft beer selection - Arrogant Bastard Lager - because the selection was just too good to pass up. So glad I stopped in. So sorry it took me so long. Lovely establishment. Pizza and Calzone we ordered was very good. The margarita I ordered was not the best I've had, the bartender could have tried a little harder. The bright spot in the place was our server Brittnei. She seemed to be the only one happy to be there and she made us feel very welcome. Her customer service skills are on point. Kudos to Brittnei!! I could not believe it. Sunday, we drove over from New Orleans to the Rotolo's Craft & Crust in Slidell, Louisiana. There was a sign that they would be closed from 3-5 for a private party. 'Seeing as how it was 5:20, my sister in law opened the door. She could see the servers talking, but no customers. 'Being jovial, she asked, "Are you opening back up? I see the party is gone." And this waitress (with a snarky attitude - I could not believe my hears) - replied, "No, I don't THiNK we ARE." I was GoBSMaCKeD! We have NeVeR been treated with such disrespect at Rotolo's - EVER! I told my sister in law, "If the owners knew that girl was killing their business they would not put up with that." She agreed. We have always loved Rotolo's and done business there. So, I'm here trying to catch the attention of the owners of the Slidell, La franchise. You may want to ask around and find out who this little kill joy is and retrain her, or send HER away. Kinda a sleepy place in terms of customer traffic, but pleasantly surprised. My son and I got a 13" classic pepperoni pizza. Sauce was excellent, crust was crispy, the toppings were decent. Beer selection is also decent, carrying a number of craft beers from outside the state. read more

Our order was very disappointing. We ordered 2 pizzas and an appetizer. It was $75 through waiter with no delivery charge and 15% tip. The pizzas were more than $20 a piece. Extra toppings were more than $2 a piece. There is no option to get a thin crust. The stone crust is very doughy. There were very few toppings on both pizzas. The cauliflower bites tasted more like cheese bites. Again, very doughy. So not worth the money. I feel robbed. read more

The pizza tastes better than a nationwide pizza chain but it's nothing special and thus not worth the cost. So, save your money. Also, the staff isn't friendly. They act like the customers are a bother. There's another, local Italian restaurant (Italian Pie) about a mile from here and their staff is courteous & professional. Well I've been going here a few times regularly lately and I can't decide whether or not to become a regular. The service was great, the second time I went there was only one server and it took her 20 minutes to come back to take our order. My fiancé was on his lunch break and had to leave early and I had to bring his food to him at work because he only had an hour. So if your crunched with a lunch hour, either call and order ahead or get take out because it's a hit or miss with the service. As far as food quality, it's fresh and hot every time I've gone. The garlic Parmesan bites under the appetizers are delicious. I could just order those and be completely full. I got a small pizza the first visit and it was more than enough food for one person or to share if you get salads. I got a calzone last time and there wasn't nearly enough cheese in it but the bread was fantastic! Very fresh and very hot! On Wednesdays they have $5.99 calzones all day, which isn't bad for lunch or dinner!! read more

I've been a regular customer at Rotolo's for the last year, and if this review was purely for the deep dish pizza it would get 5 stars. (I can say it's the best I've had outside of Chicago and I've never had any issues with their food). However, the quality of service has severely dropped over the last year. In the past, happy hour has been great--buy one pint get the second one free. But my last few visits have not gone that way. During my most recent visit tonight a family member and I ordered a pizza to-go and sat to each have a beer while we waited. I've never had an issue with this before, and usually the second beer isn't charged. When we got up to leave after tabbing out I checked the receipt and was charged for both beers. When asking the staffer, I was met with a shrug and told that we could each have a second beer but that he would not be taking one off the ticket. At no point when he served us did he mention happy hour or the two-for-one deal, so I guess happy hour is an inside secret now? This staffer was also absent when our food was put in the order window and the kitchen staff had to call my name 3 times before they finally had to bring the food out of the kitchen to me themselves (after it sat in the window for almost 10 minutes). I've held off on leaving a review so far since I know with COVID things are difficult, but it is obvious with a "help wanted" sign in the window that Rotolos is having difficulty with their staff. read more

Rotolo's recently changed their image to the Craft & Crust design and revamped the menus. We really love the pizza and crust here. Usually get the small and share it between two people because it's plenty of pizza. The bruschetta is fantastic and we also like the spinach and artichoke dip. Free coozie with each beer you get is an added bonus. Only complaint is that it can be a little pricey...staff is always friendly and quick with drinks! We will definitely be back read more
