Dante's Serious Icecream is seriously good! Everything is made fresh, in house and they have super yummy flavors. I saw matcha, ube, black, sesame, honey, lavender strawberry cheesecake, Cookie Monster and more. The flavors that came with chunks had really large delicious chunks! The person helping us at the counter let us try a few different flavors to help decide. The ice cream was flavorful and creamy. This is my new favorite local ice cream! They make waffle cones in house and it smelled amazing when we walked in. There was a sorbet and a dairy free ice cream for Vegan eaters on the menu. We have a unique program where you can donate nickels to local charities! Very cute! Can't wait to come back! read more

Wow! This little spot is definitely worth a visit. Talk about over delivering on flavor and taste. I got the Cookies and Cream along with a scoop of Cookie Monster. Both full of flavor overall delicious. Wifey got the butter pecan and chocolate cookie dough she devoured it obviously had to been good as I didn't get a bite. My son go the Cotton candy and strawberry cheesecake. Overall great service and delicious ice cream great way to cap off a good night. Kind of hidden but again I feel like everything hidden next to a liquor store seems to be the spot. read more

Great little ice cream shoppe to satisfy the sweet tooth. Plenty o flavors to choose from. The Strawberry Cheesecake and big ol' chunks of cheesecake and the butter pecan was loaded with pecan bits. Very friendly staff and I inquired about the pyramid of nickels on the register. I thought someone got bored but they give you (3) nickels for each ice cream you buy to make a donation in one of three collection bins. What a great idea. We added a lil green to the puppy organization on top of the nickels. Clean and brightly lit interior with cute wall art. Get yourselves over to Dante's and earn some nickels. read more

Stopped in today when we saw this new spot pop up in the neighborhood. My toddler is teething and I needed a quick ice cream stop after school on a rainy day and Dante's HIT THE SPOT! Johnny, the owner, is super friendly and greeted me on arrival and departure. The design is super family friendly, they even have a small kids table and chairs with crayons and coloring books. The ice cream is homemade and you can tell...it was DELICIOUS. We shared the cookies and cream...drool! We will absolutely be back! We love Sweet Cow, but were in the area and didn't want to drive all the way to Louisville, so we stopped here. Glad we didn't drive to Sweet Cow because this place is so much better. I went for the first time on the weekend and have been back a couple of times during the week, the ice cream is that good. I highly recommend this location not only for its ice cream but for the device and the charity boxes they have on site. The charity boxes alone speak highly for the morals of this company. We went into Dante's and were pleasantly surprised! My husband got the cookies and cream and I got butter pecan ice cream. When they handed me my cone I said, it's warm! The girl told us that they were just making the waffle cones. Yummy yummy yum. That was really great! I used Siri to find Dante's and she sent us to the wrong side of 88th.
