I'm seriously hesitant to rate this place just because I feel like it's the best kept PAMF secret office! It's brand new, it's nice, there's a lab, it's quiet, there are tons of appointments, and Dr. Advani is seriously the best doctor I've ever had. I drive out of my way to come here after her move to this office more days of the week and I don't have any regrets about that. In fact, the staff managed to work my daughter in when she was seriously sick and needed an appointment, and she loved the pediatrician so much she is excited to go back! Also love My Health Online; Dr. Advani answers right away most times, or her staff will if she's out of office. Overall, great offices and great doctors and staff. And a word of warning: A lot of times, you'll see negative reviews on Yelp for PAMF due to their billing. Yes, PAMF is kind of expensive; that depends on your insurance plan, not their billing. Their billing is fairly standard, actually. If you have an issue that's outside of preventive care, you're going to be billed for it. That's standard practice. Early in the visit, I discussed my current medication and my psychiatrist's recommendation to consider short-term disability to manage my mental health while seeking new employment. Dr. Sheh's response was both shocking and inappropriate: "Are you running out of money?" This question was not only irrelevant but deeply hurtful, reducing my genuine plea for help to a financial motive. I was simply trying to access a service I've paid into my entire adult life but never needed until now. Throughout the appointment, Dr. Sheh's approach was contradictory. He stated, "I don't treat mental illness," which left me confused about how he intended to help. Yet later, he suggested and diagnosed me with depression, even offering to prescribe an SSRI. When I asked, "Aren't you now treating a mental illness?" he had no clear answer but turned into a bright red tomato.His refusal to support my request for short-term disability felt less about medical reasoning and more about a lack of empathy or willingness to help. What made this situation even worse was Sutter Health's failure to address or rectify my concerns. Dr. Bryan Chin followed up, but it was clear that his sole aim was to minimize the severity of my experience--essentially acting as damage control. It felt as if the doctors at Sutter were more interested in protecting each other than providing genuine care. The once-prized Sutter Health has transformed into a profit-driven corporation that prioritizes 5-star ratings over patient well-being. Reflecting on this experience, I realize how fortunate I am to have a loving, supportive partner and financial stability. I can't help but think of what might have happened to someone without that support. In another scenario, this kind of indifference could have led me down a much darker path, potentially resulting in self-harm or worse. I shudder to think of leaving Dr. Sheh and Sutter with my death on their hands--an outcome that feels all too possible for patients in desperate need of compassionate care. If you are seeking genuine, patient-centered care, I strongly urge you to look elsewhere. Instead of obsessing over 5-star ratings, Sutter Health should refocus on providing authentic, patient-centered care--the stars will follow naturally. They just made a follow up appointment with another doctor who tried to cover for Sheh and made sure I didn't harm myself. His name was Bryan Chin but he didn't care either. Just damage control. PAMF Danville is completely incompetent-- specifically Dr. Jayan's staff. Jocelyn needs better management skills, and she has no clue what she's doing. Dr Jayan's staff needs better training and it's a disservice to any practice to have an office like this. It takes far too long to get a hold of anyone here, and when you finally do, they make numerous errors. It's unacceptable and Dr. Jayan needs to make sure ALL staff is trained correctly, organized, and responding to patients in a timely manner. I really wish I had read the yelp reviews before making an appointment at Danville Center. By the way, Danville center bills as Sutter as an FYI. I was told when I called in for an appointment that Danville Center was in network for me - so I made an appointment for an annual checkup and uploaded my insurance information. At the time of my appointment, the front desk verified again that they were in network. During my appointment routine bloodwork was also recommended which I had done at the same facility. Imagine my surprise when I was later billed a total of $1,268 for Danville center being out of network! When I called the Dr office I was told it was very difficult to check that in their system (so basically, don't rely on what they say) When I messaged their billing department I was told it was on me to check their in network status and they took absolutely zero accountability. I honestly have never been burned before by having a doctors office lie to me (twice!) about being in network so I guess that led to some complacency and naïveté on my part. I then find out from other yelp reviews this is their MO. Also later saw the Attorney general settlement against Sutter for their billing practices. I can't control how Sutter bills / what tax id they bill under and it is just a fight you cannot win unless you understand all the intricacies of medical billing. And remember- even if you call your insurance prior to your visit - you need the actual tax id Sutter plans to bill you under as not all their locations may be covered. Other doctors offices will navigate that for you but don't expect that here. Please be wiser than me and avoid this place - save yourself the headache (and the enormous bill). read more

What a scam of an institution. I saw Dr. Jacqueline Jayan to establish care as my primary care physician. The doctor herself was great and was helpful during the visit. She sent me downstairs to their "in-house lab" for bloodwork, which is a total lie. The bill that I received from Sutter Health for those services showed that they send out the blood work to other labs, and then charged me fees for sending it out. Additionally, they wrongly coded the labwork so that my insurance did not cover it. Trying to call the billing team or the office is a fail because they use call centers who are only able to make appointments. They make it impossible to talk to anyone who can resolve their error or provide clarity into their actions. Such a scam and I refuse to go back to this institution after this incident. I am not a big believer in Yelp reviews, to be honest. I have a particular aversion to reviewing health care providers, It just doesn't sit well with me. Having said that I was reminded that it can be nice to receive feedback when you are doing an excellent job. Makes sense to me. The staff at this center are wonderful. I would particularly like to give "a shout out" to Dr. Saifullah and Eddie (hope it is okay to use your names) their kindness, professionalism, care and attitude made what can be a very difficult and uncomfortable time much less so. I got my appointment time mixed up and was late for 15 minutes. Ok my bad for not getting the right appointment time. But there is no one here in line and the admin Amanda won't put my name down and spend 5 minutes arguing with me and insisted that I need to reschedule. After spending about another 5-7 minutes waiting here. After this non sense went on for about 10 minutes, finally the next person showed up. This is stupid! Please DO NOT go here. They have shady billing practice. I went for an annual physical and doctor asked me if there is anything I want to discuss. I just spoke about some fatigue and cough and that was enough for doctor to bill my insurance for 2 visits - Annual physical and another outpatient visit. So if you go here, keep your mouth shut and that is the only way they won't bill you for every word that comes out of you. In addition the Dr. Sean Feezell ordered several blood tests and never even informed me that he was going to order them or why are they needed. It is clear they are trying to find ways to increase billing. I would be following up with a lawsuit as they must be doing this to many others. read more

Showed up 5 minutes late stood in line for 10 minutes (the check in ladies were chitchatting and the check in system was being slow), then get a call asking to reschedule my appointment. Just got my bill, looked up the charges, everything is double the fair price. A 15 minute office visit is $329, X Ray on each foot, $122, they charge me $133 for an annual blood work which should be covered under a check, along with $105 for a PSA check, which would usually be $54. I've been to the Danville PAMF offices a few times now. I always forget how small their parking spaces are in the lot! My most recent visit was with a doctor that I don't normally see, but everyone was booked in Dublin, so off to Danville I went! The facility is spacious and clean. The front desk staff was friendly. Their restroom on the first floor was clean. I saw Dr. Deanna Ward, who was great! Nice lady. Her medical assistant (whose name I did not catch) was nice and friendly too! I also saw a nurse (Kim) who was great. The entire team was great, very concerned and made sure I had the tools I needed to get better. I'd definitely come back if I had to! read more

BeWe had a really bad experience with one of their pediatrician Cheng non open minded and wanted to do unnecessary exams. They are still calling us to get an appointment even if we found another small group with open minded doctors. The new ped said that xrays weren't necessary. There are a lot of groups around Danville and with an excellent insurance of big company, we don't need you. We can go where we want even if we have to pay for alternative medicine, also covered. Absolutely thee worst medical care I have ever received. Not to mention up-selling and price gouging. I saw Dr Christine Danial, a dermatologist, for a routine check up. I asked her about a wart on my knee. She identified it was a wart. I told her I'd just handle it myself with over-the-counter treatments. She misled me and informed me they don't work. Then she offered to freeze it off herself. She said, "It'll just take a few seconds." Never any mention of price. So I agreed. I only later found out that Sutter home charged me over $500 dollars for a few seconds of time and a squirt of liquid nitrogen. I have never felt more taken advantage of in my life. I shall never return to Sutter home. I don't suggest anyone else put themselves in harms way by seeing them. read more

I really liked the doctor but will likely need to find a new doctor because Sutter is very unethical. My son and I were both overdue for our annual exams and we were searching for a new doctor. The doctor we found on Sutter was highly rated and accepting new patients so we were pleased. We signed up for out annual visit which is covered 100% by my medical insurance. The doctor asked up a number of questions, the visit was not very long, both my son and I are in good health. We then got billed and we both got charged over $200 because the doctors 'asked us questions' outside of the annual visit. Neither of us got any value whatsoever in addressing the doctors questions that were 'outside of the visit', nor did we know that by simply answering the questions that Sutter would charge us $200++ extra. Highly unethical but not super surprising in the medical field, unfortunately. We liked the doctor but will keep search for a more ethical provider. Just had the most uncomfortable experience with a primary care doctor ever!!! My daughter loves her pediatrician here and so I thought I would make the change to be in the same network. Dr Bowman had the worst attitude and bed side manner. I did not feel comfortable with her at all and feel cheated for wasting a precious annual exam with her. She also told me that I didn't need a mammogram even though I have breast cancer history in my family. Wow. My previous primary care has always said I need it yearly. I went in for my annual exam and they billed it incorrectly and I keep getting sent a bill for something that is preventative and should be 100% covered by insurance. I asked repeatedly and they assured me that everything in the exam was 100% covered... they were WRONG! It's been nearly 6 months and I'm still fighting with them over the billing. My insurance keeps telling me they're billing it incorrectly and PAMF won't correct it. I had an ok experience with the doctor but it wasn't worth this billing headache I've been dealing with for 6 months.
