I was able to get my son an appointment with Dr. Weger. Medical group is located on Dublin Blvd and Tassajara. The hospital was clean and new. They had pre-mailed me the forms so by the time I checked in, they called us right away so the wait time was virtually none. Reception desk was friendly. Dr. Weger is excellent! I could tell Dr. Weger was easy going and immediately liked how she was so gentle and sweet with my son. She was very thorough, going over everything - i didnt feel rushed or insincere. You can tell right away that she is genuine and caring. She is also very knowledgeable. She pointed out a few things that we needed to further check on and when I didnt understand something, she clearly explained and at one point even drew diagrams to explain. I can not imagine having a more personable experience with such a kind hearted, knowledgeable and patient physician! Dr. Hudson was able to diagnose and prevent some serious issues with me over the years of which I am in her debt of gratitude! Dr. Hudson is always consistent to discuss good healthy eating habits and exercise on most visits. She always inquired on how things were going personally in my life and would offer useful advice. My office visits never felt rushed and I actually felt like she spent more time with me, if she felt it necessary. I think Dr. Hudson really cares about people and wants only the best for her patients. Please indulge me and allow me to expand on just a few of my experiences with Dr. Hudson over the last 25 plus years of her being MY doctor! For example, the year my mother passed away in 2001, she was extremely kind and very patient with me by allowing me to express my grief, without rushing me, in my appointments, during that difficult year. I am sure some of my appointment times went over the allotted time frame, but she always seemed to know what was important and needed. Dr. Hudson was a VERY busy woman, in her Walnut Creek office at that time, with a full waiting room of patients, yet she made the time to help me cope with my loss. Another example is when I lost my medical insurance for a period of time, Dr. Hudson was so gracious and worked with me and gave me discounted visits to enable me to continue seeing her and still receive excellent services. Also, she did NOT skimp on those visits, either, as she still provided the same high quality level of care! During that time, I would request basic short office visits, to help minimize my cost, but I feel she did extra services because she knew it was important, at no additional charge. She always tried to give me advice on places to get labs and tests at a lower cost, when possible, too. I can't thank her enough for her kindness and generosity as she really helped me financially. It was a bit disheartening to read some of the negative comments regarding Dr. Hudson, as that has absolutely NOT been my experience with her at all! She is a good, decent human being and an expert in her field and I think she only wants the best for her patients! Dr. Hudson is also a Fellow of the American College Of Physicians, which Fellows are considered a distinguished group of doctors dedicated to teaching, research as well as medical practice! She is always well versed on current medical matters and procedures and I feel that I am in VERY capable hands and have full confidence in her abilities to keep me healthy as she has done all these years! Dr. Hudson is great for being able to make same-day appointments during regular M-F business hours…read more If you don't typically require care after normal business hours, don't travel frequently and don't need a specialist, you might be happy with Dr. Hudson. Unfortunately, I've had two occasions when I've needed to see a doctor and I didn't time my sickness during a M-F business hour. Dr. Hudson has no after-hours call service, so if you need attention after hours, you will be directed to an urgent care center or the emergency room if it's after-hours for urgent care (which is even more upsetting that a patient's only option is to head to the emergency room - since emergency rooms are already overfilled and the staff has much more important things to attend to than someone who just requires an antibiotic!). Dr. Hudson also won't call in a prescription for anything without seeing you in person first. So, if you have a recurring medical issue which she's previously seen you in the past and all you need is an antibiotic called in for you - she won't do it. I might otherwise be fine with this policy, however, on the most recent occasion I was traveling and unable to get to her office until later in the week. The receptionist indicated no exceptions can be made to this policy. Once again: my only choice was to head to a local urgent care office or emergency room. My other frustration with Dr. Hudson as my primary (which she is no longer - because I need a primary doctor that I can actually reach after hours and who will be able to prescribe an antibiotic for a recurring medical issue when I am traveling) is that she comes across as knowing most everything. She purports to be a sports doctor (in addition to everything else), so on a recent visit I had her take a look at a lump on the back of my leg. She diagnosed it as some sort of cyst or other "common" mass that she could take care of in her office. Luckily, I already had an appointment scheduled with a knee specialist - and it turned out I had a tumor on the nerve that required surgery (with the assistance from a spinal doctor due to the location on the nerve!). I've had relationships with many doctors in my 1/2 century - and other than Dr. Hudson, I have always been able to reach my primary doctor after hours and have never had an issue with obtaining an antibiotic for a recurring medical issue. Although I haven't found another primary doctor yet - I will happily visit my local urgent care before giving any more of my business to Dr. Hudson!

They were warm, professional, and truly cared for their patients, and the staff felt like part of a small, caring family practice. Unfortunately, as the practice grew, the staff became less friendly and harder to work with. Things declined rapidly once the Muscos left to form their concierge practice (which costs thousands of dollars per year, per patient). Since then, patient care has suffered greatly. Between my wife and I, we've tried several different providers here, and the experience has been consistently disappointing. The new doctors don't listen, and video appointments have been low-quality and unhelpful. The level of care, attentiveness, and professionalism that once defined this practice is simply gone. I finally switched to a physician at Sutter Health, and the difference has been night and day. My new doctor was thorough, actually listened, and helped me get the treatment I needed. I asked his opinion of what might be best for my face and he suggested a brow lift and a facelift which included my neck. The thought of the brow lift initially scared me so I was reticent and thought perhaps I shouldn't do it. What I loved was that Dr. Lavey did not push me into the brow lift it at all. After another consult I decided to proceed with the brow lift in addition to my facelift and I'm so glad I did. What a huge difference. I was given a prescription for a strong pain medication to use after the procedure if I wanted, but I never needed anything other than over the counter Tylenol. All that worrying was for not because there was no pain with my procedures! It's more of a weird feeling because things are tight and numb. Incredible! But now I no longer have Kaiser, and I am a man who fears change. But let me share with you all about my experience at San Ramon Regional Medical Center. My Cardiologist Dr. Sidhu was absolutely amazing, I couldn't wait for each of my next appointments (weird right?) But he made me feel safe and informed about everything that needed to happen, where I was at in the process, and what was his most educated plan of action to get my ticker back ticking right. He was thorough folks! I appreciate that kind of service. Then, they didn't make me wait months out San Ramon Regional Medical Center acted promptly at this serious matter, even if they did this everyday, I couldn't tell. They took my Afib seriously. We can get you in Friday for a cardioversion because you have taken your pradaxa consistently we can move forward. I arrived at the hospital at 8 am for prep. Hospitable guards, check in folks, all the way to the nurses. Prep time was swift and efficient. The entire time people are sharing with me what to expect and reassuring me that I will be ok. Perhaps fear shown on my disposition. My previous experience was nothing like this, not comparing, I appreciate Kaiser and the professionals there, but this felt sooooo safe. My Cardioversion without TEE, happened and when I woke my ticker was right back where it should be and I was met with a slew of caring physicians who wanted to see my smile with a regular heart beat. I recommend San Ramon Regional Medical Center for all your medical needs. They will not disappoint!!!!

Absolutely the worst ER if you have a serious emergency. I broke my clavicle during a bike ride as…read moresoon as I got there they were very focused on getting the insurance information. I was not even offered a sling a bed or a painkiller for two hours. I can hear the nurses laughing and giggling, while I waited and the waiting room they finally took me in and they brought an extreme machine to take x-rays, but after that I was sitting on the wheelchair for the longest time without a sling or Support they finally moved me back to the waiting room citing that they don't have any beds available. They also told me I need a surgery due to a compound clavicle fracture, but I had to wait till Monday and call the Doctor not to mention today is Monday and I can't even get a hold of the doctor or anyone of the doctors staff @ Bass medical group. They hadn't even cleaned my skin lacerations. My wife noticed it when she helped me take a bath. Dr. Bahzadi staff never returned the call. Supposedly Megan is the surgery coordinator, but she can't return calls or email . God forbid if you have an emergency like me! Worst care I have ever received!

This is another branch for Benioff's Childrens Hospital. Office is clean and seemed new as I had to…read moreadd this business to check in. The waiting room is big and has a section for kids to play. Location is easy to find. The receptionist was nice and helpful. Everything is modernly done in this office using beta computers from doctor visit notes to making to appt using email. I saw Dr. Daniel Birnbaum who I think is a great neurologist specialist and has been seeing my son since he was small. He is only at this office on Wednesday's. He is very professional and caring about my son. He makes it easy to understand and draws a picture of what he thinks is happening with my son. I didn't see any other doctors there for a big office and didn't see any other patients which is as weird. Anyway, we will be back as this is not too far from home and very convenient for us. There is plenty of parking here too that is free compared to the hospital in Oakland. =)
