I had a lot of calculus on my teeth and after 1 regular cleaning and 2 deep cleanings, my teeth are feeling SOOOOO much better. I highly recommend Dao Dental to anyone that is looking for a dentist! I've been going here for the past 2.5 years and have been very impressed with the service every time. Below are some highlights: - Customer Service: everyone that works at this office is friendly and good at what they do. The woman at the front desk either takes notes or has a great memory, because every time I come in, she'll greet my by name, ask about my cats, ask how my trip to Hawaii / Michigan, wherever I've travelled was, etc.. Whether you are a new customer or have been going there for a while, they'll treat you with respect and kindness every time. - Bi-annual cleanings: The staff is great - my teeth always feel amazing afterwards. They do talk to you during the cleanings, but move their hands out of your mouth if they need a response. The best part is that they have TVs on a stand facing down that you can watch while lying down! I also appreciate how they react to your teeth - remind you to floss but don't give you a hard time about it if you haven't (speaking from personal experience ) - Cavity removal: Last year I had a cavity that was fairly deep, which needed to be removed. The process was really smooth! They put a numbing cream on your gums, then give you a numbing shot (after the cream has had some time to set in). My cavity was pretty deep, so I was able to feel some discomfort when the doctor was removing the cavity. However, she checked in every couple minutes to make sure I was okay, and when I mentioned that it hurt, she happily gave me another shot to add some additional numbing. - Location: the office is located near a few other offices and is in a very safe! Dr. Dao was my dentist for many years until my family relocated to Sacramento last year. She is legit and her entire staff are friendly and professional, including Rosy. Ms. May usually took care of my semi-annual cleaning and she patiently worked on all my teeth no nonsense, for close to an hour. Thanks May. Dr. Dao normally came in after my cleaning to make sure everything is fine. She never pushed for any unnecessary dental work but only suggested to monitor. (Same tooth for a number of years:) Recently I found a new dental office in Sacramento based on yelp review. The dentist looked at the x-ray and suggested a major work on a tooth which Dr. Dao never pointed out over the years. I refused and opted to just get the cleaning done as scheduled. I don't really like other dentists. But the staff here are my favorite! They're so friendly and caring. They moved their office about a year ago? The new office is super nice, its in a really quiet location thats hardly busy. But don't let that fool you, this dental office gets quite busy. On the day before Christmas Eve, my manager at work had a HUGE tooth ache and I called to see what I could do. They told me to tell her to call and after work she headed straight over there. She came back the next day smiling and so grateful that I was able to refer her. I think she might be taking her family here now :-) The waiting area has a tv connected to a dvd player or a video game consel and they also have a mini fridge stocked with water. They send you postcard reminders when you need to have a check-up. I came here because I had a toothache once and it ended up being my wisdom teeth. I came here to get them pulled, the only thing that really hurt were the shots but they made the shots bearable. That night I went out to play pool for my friends' birthday, although I wasn't able to eat anything and had to gauze myself up the whole night, it was fun and didn't stop me from having a good time! read more

I was referred by a good friend of mine. By faith, I made an appointment. Three crowns later, all within less than a year, I became a fan of Ms. Dao DDS. She is very professional, knowledgeable, and skillful as a dentist. When she replaced the crowns, she had to shave down my teeth because she noticed that my enamel was becoming thin due to excessive grinding during my sleep. Today, she made me a night guard to end the excessive grinding. She also glued back on the old crown that popped out while I was dental flossing one night last week. In consistent to her professionalism, so is her staff. From the dental hygienists to Rosie, her receptionist--they are also so friendly and accommodating. They even allowed me to make monthly payments when I wasn't able to pay it all. Dr. Dao is our family dentist. Her staff is absolutely the best. All three of our children go to her as well as my wife and I. The front office is run by Rosie, one of the friendliest people you'll ever meet. She's extremely friendly and efficient and calls us the day before our appointments to ensure that we'll be on time. We've never had a problem with billing or insurance, a sign of a well run front office. The entire office is always very clean, and the waiting room is kid friendly. There's video games and a tv to keep the kids distracted until it's their turn to see the doctor. Dr. Dao herself is very friendly and proficient. Me and my wife have been going to Dao Dental for a little over 3 years and they always have superb service. I had all my wisdom tooth extracted with local anesthesia and the procedure was painless. She took her time extracting the tooth and made sure to x-ray everything beforehand so I thought that was great. I used to hate going to the dentist because the cleaning was always painful and rough, but the staff here are actually very good and gentle. The office is small, private, and is not crowded with people, which is great. I've never had to waited longer than 10 minutes to get my cleaning or procedure done so they are on top of there game. I have seen Dr Dao for over 10 years. In the beginning where i was searching for a good dentist, it was very tough; i was very picky on the requirements; such as cleanness, friendliness, knowledge about overall dental practices, locations, and the way they clean my teeth. I am a clean person and i like my teeth to be cleaned as well. After searched for multiple dental offices and i came about to see Dr Dao (in Blossom hill rd off 85), she was very nice, professional and genuine. After i have my teeth cleaned once, i realized this is the place i will stay and trust them with my teeth. I was the one of the earlier patient who she did my Invisialign and it has been working out great. It's straight and i love it. Every time i visited her clinic, she kept asking if i still putting my retainer; which i thought she cares about your teeth. Not just Dr Dao is great and a wonderful person, all of her stuff members and receptionist are very friendly and professional on their work. They smiles at you all the time, felt that you are very welcome to their clinic. The new office looks amazing and very comfortable! Massage chair, fridge with waters, games for kids, LCD tv keeping you focus while they cleaning your teeth...etc. So many amenities that you felt like you are at home. We have been seeing Dr. Dao for about two years and even though we no longer live in the neighborhood, we still go to her for our 6 month checkups. I first went to Dr. Dao about my problem with grinding my teeth. My jaw was locking because of the stress and she gave me tips on how to relax my jaw and also fitted me for a mouth guard. Checkups are fairly easy to schedule and they never overbook patients, and the wait is usually no more then 10 minutes to get into the chair and get your cleaning going. They have televisions in each room to keep your mind off of the dental work and it is usually set to the Food Network. The staff is generally friendly and when I disliked a dental assistant who I thought was much too rough, they made sure she did not touch my teeth anymore. read more

I did not have a good experience here. I made an emergency appointment which was accomodated. However, I was then treated as though I was inconveniencing her. Don't be fooled by fake pleasantries. She seemed short tempered with entitlement attitude. And how many times do you have to drop tools on the floor during one procedure? It doesn't help that she has allowed incompetent student assistants to work on patients. Dr Dao should focus more on customer service and competent service rather than distracting patients with video games, tvs and fancy gadgets. read more

Wow. If I could give more stars I would! World-class service from start to finish. The entire staff is so kind and friendly. I get anxious when it comes to dental visits, but I didn't have any anxiety there. Everyone is so sweet and welcoming, you'll feel like you've been coming here for years, even if it's your first visit. They don't treat you like just another patient, they take their time and treat you like family. I was going to a dentist out of the area because it was familiar, but was referred here by two people and it was even better than they described. Most gentle/comfortable teeth cleaning I've ever had. After my dentist of 20 years retired, I was in search of a new dentist. I went thru 5 dentist and then found Dr. Dao. She is wonderful. She explains everything in detail and very gentle. The entire staff is great. Rosie who works the front office is awesome. Very friendly and makes you feel at home. I have a 19 year old daughter who is terrified of dentists and wanted to keep going to her dentist who is a children's dentist. After about 18 months I convinced her to try Dr. Dao for just a cleaning. Well she had 5 cavities a needed a root canal. Oh boy! Was so afraid she would not keep her appointment to get these fixed. But Dr Dao explained to her that it needed to be done and that she would start with the smallest cavity to ease my daughter's fear. My daughter asked for at least has to help calm her. Dr. Dao agreed. I didn't even know she offered gas. I never felt the need for it during the several root canals I have had because of how gentle Dr. Dao is. My daughter has only missed one appt because she overslept and the Dr was understanding and didn't charge a missed appt fee as do most dentist. I highly recommend this Dentist especially to those who have a fear of dental work. read more
