When he did end up coming the next day he was not only late but finished the car in an hour. Mind you, I recently had three men take two hours to detail my car. That means that he spent one working man hour & they spent six man hours. They charged $175 and he charged $125. Upon completion, he had not put my car mats back in the car. I figured no big deal but the next morning when I looked at my car to see the job that had been done I noticed he had not vacuumed the trunk at all, the air conditioning vents were still dirty, in between all of the seats still had a lot of crumbs, he had not cleaned the center cup holder at all, and there was coffee splashed up on the headliner where the dome light is located. There were also stains on the backseat and the front seat which had not been there before and a rubber piece to my passenger side back seat was completely missing and still is. I have attached pictures to show how poorly of a job was done. To be honest though, the pictures don't even do it justice for how dirty it was in person. This was immediately after the detail. Overall: flaky, and not worth it. I guess because I have a Mazda 3 and not a high end vehicle he didn't care to put as much genuine effort into cleaning my car. Also, doesn't accept credit cards. What kind of business does not accept credit cards in this day and age?

He had availability 2-3 days after my quote, but it didn't work for me. But this stood out to me cause if I could have taken it in that soon, I definitely would have! Juan is professional and friendly enough! I can tell he truly pays attention to detail and the little things because he pointed out I had a bubble in my tire- something I for sure didn't notice before. Really proves to me just how tapped into his work he is. The results made me wish I took a before and after, like I'm so hurt that I didn't lol. I'm very picky with who I have detailing my car- I've had some amazing details before, but honestly, not like this! When I stepped out to see my car I literally went "who is this?!!?" and "it looks like a brand new car!" Even my boyfriend who doesn't care for stuff like this as much as I do, was shocked with the results. And I don't mean to sound dramatic but I could cry lmao. I didn't ask for anything special with the interior detail, just a simple wipe down and vacuum, but Juan cleaned it up pretty nicely inside as well! In my opinion, pricing is the best you can find in the area but that's really gonna be case by case and what your own needs are. Sean addressed concerns I had with some scuffs/chips on my new car. Was originally going to do just a paint correction, but ended adding on a full ceramic coat + standard ppf on the front. Was able to get a steep discount on the ceramic as I got the ppf, which was really nice. Figured if I'm gonna repair the paint, might as well add protection! Sean gave me a realistic timeframe and delivered right on time - no delays. The stang is looking fantastic again. Can't thank yall enough! Yep, that also meant the should I/shouldn't I PPF rigamarole, but we erred on the side of caution and went with it, just to Safety Sally it all. Once we dove in (oh, you utterly wretched Fremont, California paint!), I knew, for sure, that XPEL Austin was my jam! There are lots of great places in 512 that have equally great Tesla reviews, but something about XPEL Austin clarion-called me in, and I def made the right decision! At the risk of making this a novel, allow me to quickly paint the picture: Hubby and I headed to Baton Rouge for the first half of Spring Break, and the delightful Kristianna arranged for our fresh new Tesla to be delivered from our garage to XPEL's huge and modern place on Metric. I only had to add the designated driver, Johnathan, as an approved driver on my app, and, by the by, he got her there with my 99% safety score still intact! Thanks, dude! The service went above and beyond from there! Kristianna kept us totally informed throughout the process, Kristofer was a totally killer PPF maestro (we went for XPEL Ultimate Plus on the full front, plus rockers and pillars), and Ivan masterfully applied our tint (we went for XPEL Prime Plus in 30% on all windows, and clear XPEL Prime Plus on the huge windshield). I must admit that we occasionally peeked in on their work with Sentry Mode! Please don't judge! Lol! They were all truly excellent! It wasn't cheap. I was told that if it looked bad, it would be replaced at no cost (by the previous manager Kristianna Garcia who no longer works there). Since then, I have had quite a few dings. I'm not at the point where the whole thing needs to be replaced, so I didn't think I'd have a problem. I called and asked if I could possibly have a few little pieces that I could cut to try to fit over the open areas, and the person I talked to, said they couldn't do that, that I could come down and they would take a look at it. That's an hour or an hour and a half, just one way. I asked if the manager could could just mail me little pieces, and the manager had said no--and he said they couldn't do that. I even offered to send him a self addressed stamped envelope, and he declined. I told him I would not show those pieces to their competitors, and they still wouldn't agree to it. So I told them when I was finished, I was going to write a review, and they weren't going to like it. But it's the truth. What I think looks bad, they may look at it and say it didn't look bad. So it's relative? Again, all I am asking for is a few little scraps mailed to me. If you're going to have work done here, just think about it. If you have problems in the future, you may run into a bunch of excuses.

It's had a hard year of little kids and dogs in and out of it. Andrea started my day by sending me pictures of areas with heavy wear, scratches, etc explaining what could and couldn't be addressed but a promise to do her best. I received several more updates throughout the day. Except for the wear spots, the interior looked as good as it did when I bought the vehicle (used) about 6 years ago. It day actually take a day or two of leaving the windows down on the garage for the cloth seats to fully dry. The Mazda SUV is only 9 months old but had gotten quite dirty on the interior (from kids, dogs and snowmaggedon). It really did look good as new when I picked it up. I did have to wait about 15 Minutes for them to finish up even though I'd arrived when instructed. The waiting room offers free Wi-Fi and is air conditioned. For the outstanding work, it cost is worth it. I highly recommend Auto Detailing Austin and Andrea in particular.
