I have a rental car on Turo and I usually take it somewhere else, bc finish line has not been quick or thorough in the past, but for today's rental I had to drop the car downtown and The Finish Line was closer. However, I was reminded again why I don't go here anymore. The car was only about 70% vacuumed and there was water all over the exterior. I had to ask the hand-dryer gal for a rag to dry it myself. I also had to spend time picking all the lint, grass, etc out of the carpet before I dropped my my car off. I wish I would have seen this before I left but sadly I assumed they did their job. This place came in clutch. I havnt been able to get my car washed in months. I was driving by to a meeting and saw them open. They looked swamped, but I drove up and asked how fast could I just get an exterior wash? The attendant was like 15 just go in and pay and we are good. I still didn't have time to get the interior done so that's why I had to go with 4 stars and not 5 but the space is great. Large inside lobby area great windows if you have kids that like to watch the cars get washed. They seemed to very well staffed so that a big thing currently. Over all I would definitely recommend stopping by to get your car washing needs Also it was very affordable For the quick full wash with tire and clear coat stuff was $25 So definitely think it's a good spot read more

Too expensive for what you get. They use some type of oily coating to shine up the plastic and don't wipe it off. There were smudges on my ceiling they did not bother to clean. They did not clean the engine, did not even ask about it. For $330, it's not worth it. read more

I've gone there for years and they always do a good job for the price. They are quick, and the amenities available are nice, what you expect from a nice line car wash. Like any car wash place, I never leave anything in my car, so there is nothing to be lost of stolen, and my experience has always been great. They also do detailing and have a spot on the side for window shield fixing (which I've used back in the days and had a great experience with). read more

Employee looked at some scratches on my truck and told me they could buff them out. Tried to charge me $300, ended up charging me $150. Scratches did not buff out and the car wash didn't even remove the stuff they wrote on my window. Headlights, mirrors and windshield all still had smashed bugs on them. Had to go back and have them do it over, which still didn't get the scratches out, but at least the second car wash was okay. read more

I've been going to the finish line car wash for years. Earlier this year they changed their business model. Since then, service has been not as great. Yesterday when I went, I just got the Monte Carlo, which does not include an interior clean as I didn't really need that. When they said my car was ready and I went to get in I saw a a white glob of something on the backseat that wasn't there before my wash. So I asked the supervisor who said my car was ready if they could just wipe that off real quick to which he interrupted me before I could complete my sentence lecturing me about how I didn't have an interior cleaning service on the wash. I think what happened was when they lowered the seat I had a tube of sunscreen and it just squeezed some of it out, I didn't have a rag, so I was just wanting them to wipe it off the seat. The behavior from the supervisor was rude and inconsiderate. I've been sort ok with the lacking service but after this latest incident, I won't be going back, rudeness is never acceptable It's too bad cause they used to be really awesome and I didn't mind paying for the service, I bought a subscription to surf through instead Congratulations you just washed away a long time customer read more

There was a crack in my windshield after the service and the manager was dismissive about helping out.

Big waste of money. Minimum of $30 and they don't even clean/shine the tires haha. People who keep their car clean don't want to have to pay for the inside to be done. I have been to this car wash many times over the years because it is in a convenient location for me. Every time I leave, I swear I will never go again. It's very expensive for a basic wash that comes with a half-ass vacuuming and wipe down. Even when I have paid more for a mini detail, I have had to come home and do additional cleaning. read more

I just paid $40 plus a $10 tip. after being completely thrown off that they left the car running at the left turn yet had the parking brake engaged, I just got tobTarget and realized the back seat is completely filthy. they didn't clean the mats at all. not even hosed them down. unbelievable. this is the entire reason I came to a car wash or else I'd just pay $10 and go do the drive thru. what a waste. I've been coming here for about five years, and unfortunately the quality of the cleaning has gone downhill over time. The Monte Carlo package includes vacuuming the carpets and seats and dusting the dash and console, but those areas are consistently unsatisfactory--often looking like they weren't touched at all. I end up having to redo both when I get home, which defeats the purpose of paying for the service. At this point, you're better off saving your money and doing it yourself. read more

Professional, quick, AC in waiting area. I've been coming here constantly for a year and have gotten every level of detail with the utmost efficiency. they took care of a rock chip in my windshield on the latest visit quickly, didn't waste time taking my car out of the line, and took care of calling my insurance to finish out the claim. the ONLY thing is because they are volume heavy, little details, like rolling the windows down to clean the glass that you don't see or cleaning perforated leather seats in a the most expensive, get missed. but i'll happily trade that for how quickly i'm in and out for a full detail. read more

I especially appreciate that the windows are clean and clear (not smudged and streaked like some others have left them). I have had four cars detailed here one car I bought was smoked in for over 10 years. The car reeked of cigarettes. I did everything in my power to try and get the smell out. I used an ozone generator repeatedly. I also left the windows down for a week, sprayed it with deodorizer and nothing worked. I took the car to the Finishing line, for a detail. My car look like a new car and doesn't smell like cigarettes anymore. It's amazing the new life that they can give to an old They are incredible. Thank you. read more

Daniel, at The Finish Line was amazing at accommodating all my boxes in my husband's truck. The team worked intensively to ensure all of the weatherproof floor mats were taken out, cleaned and replaced...and vacuumed under them. They were extremely thorough on the cracks, crevices, cubbies, cup holders, etc. I started to feel bad about all the time they were taking. I helped myself to complimentary popcorn, coffee and ice cream-they too so long. They even cleaned the roof of the truck. 10 STARS today, team. Grateful. Thank you. Took my car in Today to get washed. Paid extra to have drivers mat washed. I sat outside while they were presumably drying the car doing the interior glass etc. within 3 minutes they said the car was done. The mat was not washed and when I pointed that out they just said just a minute. The interior of the car didn't look any different than when I got there. This is the second time in a row that I was not happy with the service . I will not be going back. read more

As a person who is in a family of business owners, my experience today was extremely disappointing and downright upsetting. It takes a lot from me to even think of writing a bad review, but it doesn't feel right otherwise. I have been a customer here for the last few years and today was my last day. I asked for a hand wash and interior detail. I came back 2 hours later and there was still grease on the outside and I wiped it off with my hands ( I thought no big deal). I paid, tipped and left. After getting to a stop en route, I checked my car again and realized that the interior felt lining of my trunk was extremely bald. And on top of that, noticed that the door guard to my front door was missing. I wasn't upset even at this point, but figured I would just go back and let them know of the mistakes and that the manager would realize the wrong and fix the situation. Boy, was I wrong. I was basically told I was a liar and the manager brought over the worker and asked if she did it. I couldn't believe it! First off, how unprofessional to bring a worker over and expect that she's going to say she made the expensive wrong and lose her job. That's unbelievable! And then when I said in a calm voice that I understand mistakes happen let's figure out how to fix this, the manager basically said there is nothing to fix and that I'm lying that it wasn't already there. I couldn't believe it. I truly believe in honesty and integrity and I was on the verge of tears to be told that I as a customer was lying about the damage done to my car. Of course, I doubt anything will be done and that anyone reading this from the company will even have the decency to respond. I can't tell you how disappointed I am and I will not be going back. It wasn't just a small scratch. The entire sides of the interior of my trunk was left balding. Do not come here! read more

Have driven by this place for years and finally have a car worth a professional wash and detail. When pulling in the lot, there are no instructions for specialty services so parked and went inside. At the counter, was ordered to "go outside and get back in line" at the car wash since nobody greeted me to start. Um, by what standards is customer service put back on the customer; or, to blame employees who don't know what to do either!?!? Do better. Will never return. read more

Date 01-11-2024 at 12pm Hello everyone, I went here for a car wash with my kids as i always do for the past 5 years well I pulled in the bay area just a bit outside i opened my truck door and a guy comes to me and says I can not get out of my vehicle until i proceed forward I told him I was just getting my trash from the side and he said ok what can i do for you? I told him I wanted the most basic wash but my wheels I wanted them clean, He told me that it would be $25 per wheel plus the basic wash which $25 sounds unreal right I asked him what exactly it entailed because the last time l was their they did not charge that much keep in mind their prices are always the same unless I am missing something here . He comments " WELL I AM THE GENERAL MANAGER AND THIS IS WHAT THE PRICE IS IF THEY DID NOT CHARGE YOU THAT MUCH LAST TIME THEIRS NOTHING I CAN DO BUT THAT IS THE PRICE I AM NOT HERE TO ARGUE WITH YOU" .... I told him im not here to argue I am just explaining to you that last time that is not what I was billed and I never asked if he was GM or not. I went to have my car washed/detailed here. Before I left my house I made sure I brought cash to tip them after. I put exactly $33 in my glove box. After the wash I asked the person to wait so I could get cash out to tip them. The cash had been shuffled around, and I pulled it out to count it. There was now only $28. I asked to talk to a manager, and Matthew (the manager) told me I was causing a scene for accusing them of stealing. He didn't offer a refund, I had to ask. And then he told me I was no longer welcome at their car wash for "false accusations" of his employees stealing. I would have tipped them the $5 and continued coming back for my details, but I feel disgusted not only by having someone steal from me, but even more disgusted by the manager not seeing a customers perspective and essentially banning me for speaking up and saying something. Highly do not recommend this place. The car wash also left bird poop still on several places on my car. read more

I went to get my new car washed for the first time since I bought it. Obviously, I was super pumped and I was happy to know that it'd take them only 20mins to complete the basic car wash that they had. So, I was waiting through, watching in excitement as the car went through the process of vacuum, clean, and mop. And then, it was ready - and I hopped inside in excitement only to discover that the mud marks were still on the driver side, they did not clean it/vacuum it very well :( and I was disappointed. I was all for supporting the small local business but was expecting more value from the business, but sigh, I was only mildly amused. They did an ok job and I'm not convinced that a basic car wash at a gas station would have done any differently. Will give them another shot but was disappointed so far. read more

Just another tiny part of Austin that has gone to crap. For years this was my go-to spot and I've dropped at least $5k here over the last decade. That's over now. Their new remodel has resulted in huge price increases for clearly inferior service and a new tunnel that they love to say is used by "high end dealers" regardless of the inferior results. My old wash of choice was the "Turbo" for $26.95. It started with a hand-wash, followed by a trip through the tunnel, vacuuming and cleaning the interior, washing the windows, and dressing the tires. Now you're going to spend double to get the same services and all of their washes are done with brushes instead of by hand. Are you kidding me? You're going to use a brush on the paint of my $100k+ car? Just terrible. If you point this out, they refer you to their "custom" menu where a "Custom Hand Wash" can be had "a la carte" for only $50. And after adding an interior cleaning, window wash and tire dressing, my guess is I'll be out a crisp $100 dollar bill for what used to cost me $26.95. The upside is that their longterm customers are in revolt. Let's hope they listen to them. read more

Highly recommended by a few of my friends and I'm glad they did. The service is great and the place looks great. Complimentary snacks and drinks, for donations. As my reviews are, I will attempt to be quick and to the point. I have been going to Finish Line Car Wash for literally years, but I must have been fortunate to get the "A" team when I go on weekends. The gentleman that runs the line on the weekends is always awesome, friendly and courteous. I wish I could remember his name at the moment. If it's a great experience, then the $200-300 bill is more palatable for a Hand Wash and Wax. I have always gotten my vehicles hand washed as I don't want the brushes to make swirls in the paint etc. This morning, I thought that I would go and avoid the weekend crowd. The place was not at all busy, however, when I pulled up, the crowd of employees continued to talk amongst themselves etc. I parked in front of the detail/hand wash bays as normal. The person running the line looked at me several times and each time turned back to "BS" with the other employees. I finally walked up to him (Jose Campuzano - at least according to the receipt) in order to get his attention. I asked for the usual service for the vehicle, which is a hand wash, wax, wipe down. The price is usually $229 - I took the printout and went in to pay. When I came out - the vehicle had been moved into line and was going thru the car wash tunnel. I asked one of the attendants about it as the vehicle never goes thru the wash. I was told to talk to Jose. Jose stated that Hand Wash was not in the system for that vehicle and If I had wanted it hand washed it would have been another $70. The bottom line from his comments, sorry - not my problem (paraphrased). Needless to say - a bit ticked off at the moment. The $$ for hand wash was not the point. Summary: If you want less than stellar service with a giant helping of "I don't care - Jose is your guy. In addition, it was a poor-quality wash etc. and I had to wash the windows etc. when I got back to the house. I will have to think long and hard about returning to this business despite years of positive experiences. I can get an average car wash without the attitude in a variety of places and save myself an extra $100-$150 bucks. When I went to the reviews, was surprised to see that in recent years, my experience is becoming more of the normal. Ugh. read more

I've taken my Porsche here twice now. Excellent work and quick! Minimal hard water marks left when I pull into my driveway. My favorite part is they don't try and sell you a membership! Definitely recommend. read more
