I came into town for a work trip and came to Dara Beauty to look for something to take back to my daughter. When I walked in I was not greeted, which is usually not a problem. I know employees get busy with work or other stuff. I continued looking around the store, but I noticed one of the employees kept following me into every aisle I walked into. I didn't think much of it as she came to offer me a basket for the stuff I purchasing. I continued looking around and made my way to the dresses. The employee that had been following me around the store came up to me and asked if I needed help finding a size. I said no as I was just looking at the options. She gave me a snarky look and said "we're already closed." I was not told once how long until the shop closed when I walked in. I decided not to purchase anything due to this reason. The whole time I was looking around this employee followed me around like I was about to steal something! I am a young Hispanic woman and for some reason she thought this was a valid reason to discriminate against me. Do NOT shop here unless you want to be singled out. read more

I used to love this store when it first opened years ago. They do carry items that are "supposedly" from international Disney parks, however the quality is very poor. Some items were lopsided or had strings of glue hanging off of them - doesn't seem authentic quality, but the prices are fairly affordable. While we were visiting today, the employee followed us around the entire store watching us pick up and put down every item as if we were going to steal things. She didn't ask us any customer service questions - She stood so close to us it was uncomfortable & difficult to even move around the aisle. It absolutely ruined the shopping experience and made us want to leave without finishing looking around. In the past, I've met the owner who is so incredibly kind and attentive to customers, so this was a very negative experience as a returning customer. read more

Beautiful store but bought two dresses for our granddaughters and made sure to buy them one size larger. Sizes ran small and the dresses were tight. These were gorgeous fairy tale dresses. We gave them to our children at Christmas, both called back and said they didn't fit the girls. I tried to at least get a store exchange, no way. I tried to talk to a supervisor, no way. They refused any kind of anything. Not only we're these little dresses expensive but they were one of a kind and the girls were so disappointed they didn't fit. What can you do when your faced with such an inflexible store policy? I guess just write this review and never ever buy from this store again or any other store that offers no refunds and no exchanges. This is not the way to run a business if you want to have repeat customers. read more

We popped in here to see the costumes, Malia was so helpful and fun. She took a spur of the moment photo shoot while we tried on crowns. We were so inspired when she told us they make CUSTOM costumes. I love the vibe, selection, inspiration, and collaborative energy. I just purchased a super bling sponge Bob coin banks. Actually I bought two and it's possible I'm going to keep both and get the kids something else. No matter how old you are, expect that you will hang out for an hour. The lady who helped us was incredibly kind and offered help as soon as she saw me.. I'm coming every year and I'm gonna splurge. Dara is a whimsical shop full of princess wonders. They have a full array costumes for both adults and kids. Their accessories include lots of shimmery jewelry. I bought a couple pairs of earrings for a reasonable price. For a shop that's in the Garden Walk mall I definitely got a taste of Disneyland vibes. read more

THE SWEETEST PEOPLE EVER!!! They had amazing customer service, were so patient and kind to us, and were so helpful. We're highschool students coming in from a fieldtrip and we were having fun! One of the workers, Milia (?), allowed us to try on tiarras and also took photos for us! We came back later after one of our buttons fell off our blazers. They offered to fix the button and reinforce one of the buttons, completely free too!!! Everyone there was genuinely so sweet, helfpul, and fun. THEY GENUINELY MADE OUR DAY AND TRIP SOO MUCH BETTER. My family and I were walking around the store, no one greeted us. The workers were just talking amongst themselves. My daughter was on her way to exit the store and she slipped and fell. Not one worker asked if she was okay, even though it was inside the property, instead the workers laughed. It is incredibly mean and to laugh at a child who fell, aside from it being incredibly disrespectful and unprofessional. When I asked for managers name and number they basically just directed me to the business store phone number- which they answered. I'm incredibly upset- I wouldn't give my money to a store that has such low expectations from their workers. Do better! read more

I follow a lot of their nail art and it's the best platform to see their high quality items. Visiting from out of town and was recommended Garden Walk for shops. I entered Pandora inside Dara beauty. I was browsing. I walked towards the counter and was looking. A worker behind the counter ask me if I needed help! She was nice. I was talking to her and continue looking. Some man came in and was at the counter. When I looked up and noticed him he looked at me with a stupid face and asked me "Who are you talking to?" He was acting like I had a problem with him and kept eye contact with me and rudely said I didn't need to explain myself. Another lady came and relieved the other worker from behind the counter. The guy said to her "Oh these are connected (referring to the two shops) You work here now?" I was still looking as I was also making my way out because after that confrontation from the man, I felt UNCOMFORTABLE, ANGRY, AND ATTACKED VERBALLY by some insanely unwelcoming man with obvious personal relation issues. The girl did come up behind me and ask if I needed help and there was a sale. I politely declined as I was not about to stay in that store one minute more. The guy returned to talking with the female worker behind the counter. This happened Aug 27 at about 7pm. I am not sure if this is typical for this business but if employees are being visited by friends ect and those people make it uncomfortable for customers then please stay away from this place. I have never been treated like this when I visit a store, I would have liked to purchase the $125 and received a bracelet (the sale) because I do have three full bracelets from Pandora already. Sorry to the owner, management and the company but I highly recommend Pandora at DownTown Disney or ANY OTHER Pandora. Not this one!! read more

I went to Dara Beauty in Anaheim & was greeted with great customer service. I had no purpose to shop I was just browsing. My daughter was very fascinated with the variety of Disney dresses you had in stock. We had an associate named Perla who helped picked out a couple of dresses for my little one.
