A sign with a dollar amount hangs on the rack; however, only a few items behind the sign match the price; the rest are much higher. They shipped the wrong size shoes and expected me to pay for the return shipping to the UK. The shipping cost is over $200 for a $50 pair of shoes. When the shoes arrived, the label showed an address of a warehouse in Queens, NY that they must store their inventory but they want me to return it to the UK for some reason. THE OWNER IS RUDE AND YELLED AT MY KIDS! I took my teenage girls for a walk down Main Street and we went into this store. My girls were looking at the jewelry located at the front counter. Below the jewelry are bongs and pipes. My girls saw a minion bong Inside the display case and started talking about it and pointing at it. First of all- that doesn't give you the right to treat ANYONE that way let alone teenagers, especially not teenage girls. Secondly, if you do no not want kids to look at the bongs and pipes that clearly cater to kids move them in it's own section. My 11 year old nephew saw a tank top at this store that he wanted. We let them know which one. I was not paying attention, it was just a tank top on display!!! I love their idea of customers sharing ideas and they can heat press it right there. However, they rang up this tank top that was on display and to my mistake, not fully paying attention, I thought they said $24 which is still pricey for a generic tank top - not even Gilden or Haines. As someone with extensive, executive-level, luxury retail experience- I am always acutely aware of the client service that I see and that I experience, and that is the reason why I needed to write this review. Last week I was in Huntington Beach for a work conference, and on the last day of my trip, I stopped by Cali Clothing; I was just walking by and I decided to see if by chance they carried any pet clothing, because I was looking for a t-shirt to bring home to my family's dog in AZ. Within one minute of stepping into the store, I was greeted by Ace--- and he is the reason I am writing this review. Ace spent almost 30 minutes working with me to help me create the most fabulous piece of clothing my 1-year-old, 7 lb. Toy Fox Terrier, Louie, will ever own. Ace- along with another amazing employee, Panda- absolutely went above and beyond the typical expectations of customer service. It was very clear that they wanted to do whatever they could to make sure all their customers leave the store happy. Just a couple examples of the service I received are: when they couldn't find any pet clothing in the back room- Panda actually left the store to walk to an off-site inventory room, where he hunted for their back-stock of dog shirts, and then carried a whole box of shirts back for me to look through. Ace made me laugh as he helped me put together this hilariously ridiculous design for us to put on Louie's shirt- & he was so patient with me, even when I changed the wording of the design, multiple times. I was so impressed with both of these guys & it's because of them that I will always make sure that- whenever I'm in town- I will go back & shop in their store. Kudos to the owner of Cali Clothing on hiring two of the most personable, positive and helpful retail associates that I have ever met. I truly couldn't have been more impressed by the people you have representing you & your store. Like I said, my background includes working for high-end retailers- specifically ones who are known for their incredible customer service- (i.e. Neiman Marcus), and I swear that these two guys could hang with the very best, top-talent retail associates out there. Lastly- thank you so much, Ace & Panda! You guys were so fun, & the shirt was a huge success; I'm pretty positive that my puppy loves wearing a shirt with my face on it... Haha! =) read more

Went in here with family for a couple souvenirs. And like the other reviewers said, it's a total rip off. I should have looked it up before coming here. The prices on the rack are for the decals, not the shirts. So it's not a $20 sweatshirt, it's a $40 sweatshirt with a $20 decal...making it a $60 shirt. Then, with your purchase, they'll try to tell you that you get a free tank top or tshirt, but they won't mention that even the smallest decal you put on it will cost $15. Don't be fooled by the friendly greetings - it's all part of the act to make you feel bad when you ask why the charges are so high. Save your money and buy something pre-printed at any of the stores on the block. read more

I love this store, they can customize anything in 9 seconds, this is crazy, I go every year and I get fifts for my family and even after they washed them, they're still like a brand new and very affordable prices too, the boss is also very friendly and cares about customer satisfaction, I don't get people who complain about prices of course every design has a different price as they're in different sizes and colors read more

This is a bate and switch operation and I also reported to BBB. Huntington Beach Chamber of Commerce and All over Social Media. Here's my experience... Blonde girl long wavey hair is standing in front of the store. She says "Everything 20% off. I say to THE GUY, I will take that shirt right there. He goes to the wall and pulls a blank shirt we discuss size. I say, "how much?" He says " $29.90 okay way pricey for a tank top but its for a special person and 20% off so I agree. After the guy prepares the shirt he hands it off to another guy who rings up the sale and says, "$32.80. I told him I should be getting 20% off $29.90, he says, "that is with the discount. We didn't charge you for the design." WTH? like anyone pays $29.90 for a thin as paper tank shirt plain. These two men were thugs and I just paid and got out of there. Never Again will I even walk by. I will cross the street. These people in my opinion are crooks and should be shut down.
