Repair shops in the area were 3-4 weeks out, so while searching Google Maps, I noticed that Jiffy Lube changes all types of fluids, including differential oil. I called them, no appointment was needed, and we drove it to their shop, where we met Chuck and his coworkers. They were knowledgeable and friendly, replaced the differential oil and even replaced our turn signal light that had stopped working on the road for just a few dollars and a minute more. And we didn't even have to get out of the RV! Fortunately, that's all it needed and we were able to continue with our vacation worry-free and without spending a fortune. Thanks, Chuck & friends. If I could give negative stars, I would…read more My first mistake was taking Andy at his word. Andy is seemingly a nice guy, but he is not an honest business person. He misrepresented the $3800 Jeep truck I purchased from him, during the initial sales negotiations. Stating that he had already performed a list of work, and was so cofident the vehicle would perform, he stated he would drive his children in it on a 1000+ mile trip. When I arrived to pick up the truck, he then informed me that my deposit had basically been used to actually perform most of the repairs he had previously told me had been performed. It made it 70 miles, before the transmission went out. My second mistake was sending it back to Andy. One month, and $5000 later, the transmission was replaced, and all of the miscelaneous repairs I requested him to perform, were supposedly complete, and although he was having computer problems and could not provide a detailed breakdown of said repairs and costs, his wife did give me a hand written receipt for the last $1800 cash payment. I picked it up at night, and did not roll down the windows. The next day when I did roll down, and then up the driver window he had removed sent for tinting and replaced, it fell ito the door, because no clip was placed on the post to hold it in place. The$250 tint job was ruined. I asked him to install a stereo, specifically requesting in writing it have bluetooth, usb, and aux in. The stereo is in, and sounds great, but has no bluetooth, and is therefore useless to me. Initially it had some non working guages, and I sent an instrument cluster. He installed, and it worked for about 20 hours. I had him replace the dipstick tube, as the previous one was broken off. First time I check the oil, the last 4 inches breaks off at the crimp he made in it for some reason. I check the tranny I paid 2100 to rebuild, and there is none on the dipstick. I had to add a quart and a half! I had to do an oil change in the Oreilly parking lot to find out I was 1/2 qt low, afrer driving about 250 miles... I asked him to check the tires, before I picked it up, he says they are fine, lots of tread left. Blow back tire at 65mph. Turns out they were 17 years old, NOT FINE. $1400 in tires AND wheels later.(I would have had to wait a week for the odd size tires, to fit the 16.5 inch rims.) Have to recheck lug nuts in 50 miles, but now the lug wrench is missing. My trip ended 50 miles later when it overheated and died near Twin Falls, ID. I am a single mother, and made the trip alone, as it should have been a great road trip. I had to stay in a cheap motel, have my son call out of work, for two days, and take my younger daughter out of school to come get me. To make the entire situation even worse, now he won't even respond to my numerous texts, and phone calls....... I had already informed him that I was not even going to be able to keep the vehicle, as I am not a rich single mother. I had to cash out savings bonds from my mother to pay him, and am now completely broke. Instead of having a saleable truck, I now have a $12000 paperweight... You decide, if he is the right mechanic to trust to do your job.

I tried to get them to correct price as used and to get milage corrected for warranty concerns. Neither was done. Being a "new" car I was told it came with oil changes as long as I owned the car. Went in last week for oil change preparing for a trip. Quick lube was all torn up for remodel or some changes. They said they could do it in the main shop for $149. ?? Also asked them about a noise in the indoor fan. I was pretty sure there was something in the fan that should not be. They said it would be $99 to put it on the scope to check, plus whatever the repair cost was. Told them I would need to wait a bit. Took the car back about 2 months later. The cost now to put it on the scope was $250. No way did I have the money, and they should have honored the $99 they had told me. Especially since I was almost positive what it was since I had had the same problem on another car. Needless to say, I walked out. Took it to a friend opening a new shop. He had a friend put it on a scope. Problem was exactly as I thought. I bought a new filter and they put in for me. Took less than 30 minutes. All at a cost lower than the original $99. We were completely stranded with our 7-month-old baby and had no idea what we were going to do, especially with it being a holiday weekend. David went above and beyond for us in every possible way. He came out to help us, towed our vehicle, and then incredibly let us borrow one of his personal vehicles for the weekend so we could still get around while everything was being figured out. That kind of kindness and generosity is so rare. He didn't just treat us like customers -- he genuinely cared about making sure my family and our baby were safe and taken care of.
