They put it on the lift, located the problem, fixed it, and cleaned up the mess in and around the engine. It was a brand new O-Ring installed on the oil filter that failed. It was one of the rare "shit happens" incidents. He even gave me some oil sand to take home to use to clean up my garage. My trust has been reestablished with an auto service shop.
