Four months later I went to a different Discount Tire store to buy the other tire. They quoted me a price that was $20 more. Good prices. When they called to let me know that my special order wasn't delivered yet, they called the wrong number. So I didn't know and showed up for my appointment as planned. Rather than reschedule the appointment, they put more expensive tires on for the same price. The only reason this is not a one star is due to the excellent customer service from Kanan and Jay. I've been a Discount Tire customer for years with other vehicles. Just so happened I acquired a new vehicle that had a nail in its tire. Kanan patched me up after work with a quickness and was super helpful. Onto the harsh realities I faced. They told me I needed new tires after I patched up my flat (this car was not in their system) yet my mom was taking this vehicle to Americas Tires which is the same company as Discount but in California. I told them I'd be back after checking my warranty. After finding out the warranty is from Americas Discount Tires- I took it back in the morning before work and Chris looks at my tires- tells me my warranty doesn't cover anything and to come back after driving on it some more. R U SERIOUS? Doesn't the warranty expire depending if the tread is worn out? And what happened to Mark telling me I needed to replace all four of my tires after patching my nail before they realized this vehicle is indeed a Discount/Americas Tire customer covered under warranty? Is it me or am I getting woopdeedooed? I'm not one to leave negative reviews but I've had issues in the past with this location. Need to be sure others don't experience the same thing. read more

I just had to post a review of Discount Tire and more specifically of my customer service experience with Jae. I was scheduled to have a new tire installed, but when I arrived for the appointment the tire had not yet been delivered by UPS. Jae was apologetic and assured me that he would let me know just as soon as the tire arrived and was ready for installation. As I had my grandson with me that morning, it complicated the issue. We went to a nearby Starbucks to hang out while we waited and Jae kept me updated on the progress. When we returned to the tire center, Jae once again said how sorry he was that we had to wait. I had all four tires replaced on my Jeep exactly two weeks ago. I've been driving the local roads around Port Angeles/Sequim without incident, but decided to take a road trip today. At highway speed, my front end started vibrating violently, so I pulled over to see what what going on. The right front tire was missing two lug nuts and their bolts had sheered off at the rim; two additional lug nuts were loose enough to move with my fingers. One remaining lug nut was all that was keeping my front tire from flying off at 60mph on an interstate mountain pass populated by dozens of semi-trucks & other motorists. I called the store and asked for a manager, but was put on hold. When no picked up the phone after a reasonable amount of time, I hung up and called back, again asking for the manager, but also explaining my situation, in addition to expressing my anger & frustration at being put in that position. I was put on hold again. After another period of time passed without someone picking up, I hung up and proceeded to do what I could to get my Jeep down off the mountain and to someplace where an emergency repair could be made. I have no intention of ever conducting business with ANY Discount Tire location ever again, but I also want to caution others. I still paid over $600 for their economy grade tires, so I don't think I saved nearly enough money to justify almost getting myself killed. I think consumers should consider that very carefully as well. read more

I called and got a quote over the phone for $895.00 plus a Memorial Day weekend mail in rebate for $100 off and an additional $50 for active duty military. The total should have been $745.00 before tax. When I came in they told me it was one discount or the other, so I went with the $100 off. I was about to go on a cross country militarily move the following weekend and I didn't want to haggle. The salesman, Juan, was very nice and helpful but he did up-sale me a replacement warranty for $27 a tire; however, he gave me two tire warranties free so I paid half price. Basically buy two warranties and get two free. It was worth it to me because I'm traveling across country and may need it. You never know what could happen on a long trip like that. Overall the service and facilities were very good. Just be prepared to pay a little more for unexpected cost like; state required environmental fees - only $4, and waste tire disposal $10. Installation was $76. Again, they had the best customer service and prices around. I recommend this place - four stars! read more

The service person at Discount on the phone recommended another tire and that they could order it and have it available faster than I was going to buy on-line. The tire they recommended actually cost less than the tire I was going to purchase. The day the tire was going to be install went flawless. Previously I was talked into a new set of tires with a promise of a discount which it later turned out I wasn't eligible for. I was talked into a warranty for the tires with a promise to charge me only half price, but when the bill came it was full price. I called: oh, did I have anything in writing? I was impressed with my first experience here. I researched the tires I wanted for my Truck online at the Discount Tire site and ordered 4 new General tires at a competitive price. It took about 3-4 days to get them in stock and I had an appointment for Friday morning at 9am. I was there about 15 minutes early and they took me right in. I needed a new set of Michelin tires and when I called Discount Tires, I was greeted pleasantly on the phone by Devon ( store manager) and he said they did not have the tires I wanted in stock, but he could could have them at the store the next day so I ordered the tires. I received a call from Juan ( installer) the next morning and he said the tires were in and he would be happy to install the tires anytime and just come on in ( no appointment necessary). I stopped by that afternoon and was greeted by Jesse ( assistant manager) who was very helpful and said they would have the tires installed in about 20 -30 minutes. 5 stars not because of price or even installations but because there was an installation issue of my valve stems . Management said take it to my dealer get it repaired and they will reimburse me. I can't say enough good things about the manager and team at this location! We traveled from Arizona to Washington for a good friend's wedding. On the way our rental car low tire indicator came on so we stopped at the free pressure check only to find out the tire was nearly flat. The attendant said they were short staffed and backed up on work but to check inside to see if they could help. They reiterated inside that it could be several hours before they could get to it. I explained our situation and we would miss the wedding that we traveled over a thousand miles to attend. The manager immediately said he would make the repair himself if necessary to make sure we made it to the wedding. A short time later we were on the road! Bought tires less then a year ago they have only 20000 used from a 50000 mile warranty. This Discount Tire instead of doing the right thing and fixing our tire they want to give us 100 off new tires, so in another year they can screw us again when their tires suck. We are getting better tires at Costco for 80 dollars less then it would of cost us even with 100 off Discount Tires price. Avoid this place and drive the extra 100 feet and go to Costco. read more

So on February 25th 2019 around 5 PM I called the Sequim Discount Tires because my wife's front left tire was very low. Juan answered and asked how he could help. I explained my wife's tire was low and wanted to come down and have the tire filled up with air and check for a nail. He said that's fine. I asked if there was a long wait and he said no come on down and they would look at it right away. Five minutes later I was there and Juan looked at the tire and said it would be over an hour for me to be seen. Five minutes earlier when I called they could see me right away! I said I could not wait an hour which is why I asked how long a wait would it be! I asked him to put some air in and I would come back in the morning. Juan looked at me and said the tire had to little air and he would NOT put air in my tire I would have to wait. I don't like companies that play games. I went to Les Schwab and they put air in the tire right away, checked for a nail and found none so the removed the tire from the wheel and found the rim had a little corrosion which they cleaned up for NO charge and I was on my way in 20 minuets. Exceptional customer service and attentive staff! Wonderful experience last week - scheduled an appointment to have truck tires rotated and a possible tire leak examined. Facility is clean and quiet with pretty good coffee. 40 minutes later I was informed that I had excessive rust on all four wheels which they thoroughly cleaned with a wire brush before replacing the wheels. They also inspected the 'suspect' tire and where unable to find a leak, however, they replaced the valve stem to be sure! Juan took the time to explain this all to me and then escorted me to the door with a handshake. I asked for my bill and he said there wasn't one! Then another tech walked me out to my care, reviewed the 'work order' & asked if I had any question thanked me for my business and shook my hand! Exceptional customer service and I will be back - you've gained a loyal customer for life! So impressed was I that I went a bought these folks a dozen Danishes and some chicken wings to show my appreciation. :-) read more

Originally purchased my tires from Discount tires online site and liked them. Discount tire offered me the best price and I chose the same tire to replace them. I sent them a check ahead of time and they agreed to put the tires aside for me. When I went to have them put on-they had unknowingly sold them in error. Without me making any kind of a fuss they offered me even better tires for the same price. Really good customer service is so rare it seems that I was really taken aback by just how good they were. The employees take pride in their store and in what they are selling and are super willing to back up what they say. After my experience if I lived in Seattle when it came time for new tires I would drive the 2.5 hrs to have them replaced at little ol' Sequim-that is how good they are. read more
