She answers the phone, emails and schedules appointments as well as takes payment at the end of sessions. I've been tattooed by two ladies there and both are awesome! Kimmie did a rose with script around it and I get compliments on it all the time. She's very patient, thoughtful, and genuinely cares about making sure she's designed what the client (me) was envisioning... only better! lol Rowan owns my right arm as she's doing a full sleeve. To say she's amazingly talented is an understatement! She's a tattooing beast who works like a machine; and yet, has fun doing it. She loves what she does and it shows. She's very creative, very detail oriented with her designs, has an awesome understanding of placement, color, perspective, and simply what will work and what won't in a specific space. She's simply very gifted as an artist (tatting, painting and digital) and I feel extremely fortunate to have been able to get my sleeve from her. I can not recommend her highly enough!! This place was amazing! I had been wanting to get a tattoo covered up for a while but didn't know the place to go and I'm so glad that I came here! I had emailed/called a couple places trying to schedule an urgent appointment. All would have a short conversation with me about how they would fit me in then completely quit contacting me when I showed the tattoo that I needed to be covered up, a small "26" on my foot. The same day I emailed dark age tattoo they immediately got back with me and started planning something to cover it up with. I was able to get my cover-up a day after I emailed them with no problems. My artist's name was jake and he did great. He could tell i was nervous so he got me a water and let me take a breather in the middle. I love the final product. Overall this place was so helpful, attentive, welcoming, and respectful. Usually tattoo parlors can be a little intimidating but I felt like I could relax here! Alex Garcia was my artist, and he did the most wonderful tattoo on me. Helped me feel at ease right away, and listened to my ideas, and we came up with the final design together. Helped made me feel at ease as I was very nervous. He did the such amazing detail, I feel like I honestly have a humming bird on me, and it could not have asked for a better tattoo. This tattoo studio is filled with amazing artist, who are extremely friendly and helpful and genuinely care about the work they do. I loved Alex's work and picked him. He really took his time to give me the best, and is a solid person. I highly recommend him and this studio. I these pictures are 2 weeks apart, the picture on the right, is the day of. I sent an email before opening on a Saturday, and was greeted with a response by 1pm (they open at noon). Sasha was so wonderful and worked with our schedule to accommodate us by asking us what exactly we were looking for and matching us with artists who specialized in what we were wanting done. It was serendipitous, honestly. I wanted a fine line tattoo with a tiny bit of color and was moved to Kimmie who had a cancellation (aka my lucky day)! Kimmie is beyond amazing. My tattoo is exactly what I wanted. She paid attention to everything I told her I was looking for and designed it like she was in my mind. Basically I'm obsessed and went to her IG after to follow her for future tattoos. I was dumbstruck by her skills. She's in the very beginning of her career but I guarantee she will be a well-known name if she isn't already. Came in today for the Friday the 13th flash sale at Renaissance Tattoo Company and had such a wonderful experience! This was my first color tattoo, and Tony was absolutely incredible: patient, thorough, and took the time to walk me through all the aftercare and what to watch for. I've been following him since the shop first opened, so finally getting to sit in his chair was a long time coming, and he did not disappoint. The shop itself is exactly what you want: clean, well-maintained, and a great vibe with the windows looking out onto West 7th scene. The receptionist was welcoming from the moment I walked in. Everything ran smoothly and professionally. Can't recommend Tony enough. If you've been on the fence about booking with him, stop waiting & just do it. Professional with a capital P I got my septum pierced and my piercer walk me through the experience my first experience at another tattoo shop where the guy pierce my septum and went through my Cartledge it made me bleed everywhere so I was very not determined to get my piercing done fast for two years a lot of research and I came up with the shop they were amazing my piercer allow me to pick out my nose ring walk me through the piercing laid me down after because I am a bleeder afterwards make sure I was fine told me what to do for aftercare and even gave me his personal number to make sure that if I needed anything I could reach out I will say it was a awesome experience read more

I had two very simple,small tattoos that I wanted to get done. I had to reschedule 1st appointment, and Dark Age made it super easy to get me back on the calendar. Zac was my artist. He put in a very detailed effort to ensure the font and size was what I wanted, and took the time to make sure the placement was centered and where I wanted it. His work was super crisp and the edges are perfect. Very clean atmosphere and, he made it an easy process. He really cared about his work and it shows. Sam was AMAZING and made the entire experience so fun. She is by far the best piercer in DFW and probably the state of Texas. She makes you feel so comfortable in her chair and I will definitely be going back to see her. Also, I met Andy while getting pierced and he is right at the same level. He was so warm and has an awesome personality. His work is also top notch. I definitely recommend either of them if you want to have any piercings done. Me and my boyfriend both walked in to get some small tattoos on a date night and had an amazing experience! the shop was extremely clean and well kept, the staff was extremely friendly and the vibe was great! we worked with Al and he was absolutely amazing, his attention to detail really meant a lot and his willingness to design both of our tattoos in a way that fit our budget but still looked great was really helpful. I went to see Sam for daith piercings in September, and wanted more done, so I made another appointment with her to get both helixes pierced. She is the absolute BEST!! Best experience I've had at a tattoo shop, hands down. Sabrina did a leg sleeve for me and was very fun to work with. She really took her time with the design process and had a sense of ownership over the art! Sabrina provided a lot of great suggestions while also being open to my own, and the whole process was very organic. This was my second tattoo with my favorite artist Kimmie Wesson, at my favorite studio. Super clean environment, very comfortable and the staff are amazing, they have a warmness you probably won't even get with your family. Kimmie ran with my initial idea and took it to whole other artistic level. The tattoo artists at this shop are artists on a different level but at the same very humble and friendly unlike tattoo artists at other shops I have visited. Will be back soon. read more

I went to Ethan for a touch up on a tattoo from another shop, that I've been insecure about for quite some time as there were a lot of issues with it, and he was very quick to form ideas on how to fix it. First I highly recommend Stephen, he's an incredible artist with attention to detail and provided a great first experience.(all the artists there were pretty great!) The staff and store were inviting, offering water, answering my questions, I felt at ease while I was in the process. They even have a tv with movies to keep you occupied.
