So one day I was wiping my nose and the bead fell off my septum piercing that I had just gotten back 2 months ago. I got the bead and started to put it back and it fumble out of my hands and fell down the drain RIP T.T First I called the original tattoo place I gotten this pierced, they answered and told them what happened. The girl said "Oh I am so sorry to hear that We can definitely help you. Just come by before close and is going to be $5 for a new bead" me - ok wow that's great unfortunately I am all the way in Fort worth and you guys are all the way in Dallas, also yall close at 7pm and I don't even get off till 8pm and yall would be close by then; what are my other options. They suggested I call around and find a shop close to me and they should be able to help me. So i started calling around different shops to see if someone could help me get a replacement bead back on it because I didn't have any. This place was probably the fifth one I called. I decided to stop by after work but because they are so close to where I live and they are open later than most other places I called. When I first called and told the guy over the phone what had happened he assure me they could help. He asked me If i had gotten my piercing them them, how long ago was this etc etc. I asked him if he knew how much they would charge me for the bead and he said "we use different jewelry than other shops so I cant give you an exact price but your looking at 15-30 dollars. If we cannot find a bead to fit you I am sure we can just replace the whole jewelry piece." So ok whatever, I didn't really have a choice because I needed to get this done. Parking for the shop is next to the bar. There is an alley behind both of these building if the parking lot is full. I walked in and was greeted by a guy who asked me if I needed tattoo help or piercing help. I mention piercing and he pointed me to the left part of the store where you walk down a hallway and enter a smaller lobby just for body piercings. The piercer did have someone else they were helping so I had to wait about 20 minutes before she was able to see me. I explained what had happened and she was very understanding. She answered all my questions and was very professional. It did take her like 4 different beads to finally fix my jewelry issue. She did assure me that if the bead came off again to see her and she would be glad to help. She charged me $15 for the bead, for that amount I could have gotten a new jewelry piece in itself but ugh. I decided to get another piercing at the end of August and was looking for a piercing studio that would actually do the piercing I was trying to get. I called to make sure before heading out and the guy who answered the phone was very friendly and professional. I believe he was also the one that greeted me at the door and showed me to the piercing part of the building. My piercer Sandra was very friendly and asked a few questions and then had me sign a Body Piercing Consent Form, which had pertinent questions related to my piercing. I later received an emailed PDF copy of what I agreed to for my records. I believe all piercers at this facility are members of the Association of Professional Piercers (AAP) and this made me more comfortable, considering the piercing I was about to get. After I signed and paid, Sandra let me know that it would be a short time, while the room was being prepared and the sterilization process for the tools used was completed. I didn't have a scheduled appointment, so this was completely acceptable and I didn't mind the wait at all. During the piercing process, Sandra was extremely professional and made sure to explain each part of the piercing process. The piercing was actually less painful than I expected and it looks great. She also made sure all my questions were answered and sent me home with everything I needed. This included a couple of informational post cards, one with detailed aftercare instructions. On the flip side of the card, Sandra wrote the type of piercing, gauge and type of jewelry used, her name, date and heal time. With that being said, Sandra was excellent and very professional, the experience was great and I will definitely go back to this studio again! read more

This was my 6th piercing here at Randy Adams and it definitely isn't my last. Yesterday I got a white opal conch piercing and I absolutely love it. Sandra did my piercing this time and she did incredible! It was a super quick and easy process and even suggested I go ahead and get a conch on my right ear to balance out my industrial on my left. Been awhile since my last review, and I wanted to update since I've been back recently. I really like the mellow vibe of this shop and the relaxed, but professional attitudes of the staff and artists. I walked in recently because I wanted to get my ears double pierced and my nose re-pierced, and it didn't take long at all to get in and out. Fill out a bit of paper work, show your idea, pick out your jewelry, pay, and then get pierced. Everyone has different levels of pain tolerance of course, but I want y'all to know that Randy Adams and their staff does everything they can to make your experience as painless as possible. For piercing, they'll of course mark you with a purple pen so you can make sure you're being poked where you want to be poked, and don't hesitate to have them wipe off the marker and try again (tattoo or piercing)- it's your body and they want you to be happy. Make sure it looks right to you before you proceed. Jarred, my piercer, was really funny and easy to talk to, and the whole process is over before you know it. A tiny bit of blood and a few second of pinching pain, but quick and easy! I think the jewelry here is a bit overpriced for very simple, basic things, but I like what I got (plain and small diamond studs in my ears and nose). I've heard from others that Randy Adams is too expensive in general, and I suppose I can't argue since I've only ever been pierced or tattooed here. But they make me feel safe and comfortable, so I'll continue to come here whenever the urge strikes! read more

I'm one of those "WANNA GET A TATTOO TONIGHT?!" people... That being said, I've got six small tattoos, all that I LOVE and all done by the professionals at Randy Adams. I actually starting going to this place back in 2001 when I got my belly button pierced (scandal!) The word was passed around the protective moms at my high school that this was the cleanest, and most well kept place...they were right! My mom took me for my 17th birthday! And now that I am an OCD mama of myself, this is where I continue to go for any piercings or tattoos. The place is casual and relaxed. Everyone is super friendly and makes you feel comfortable as soon as you walk in. I am always a little intimidated by these hardcore tattoo go-ers, but as soon as I start chatting with the employees that totally goes out the window. They never make me feel lame for my small, quarter sized tattoos! Seriously, don't be shy.. they are totally welcoming. My latest tattoo, however was a bit bigger, some script on my ribcage! I am really proud of it and I LOVE it. Cour, my artist, was quiet and reserved, but really cool and made me feel comfortable. She did an absolutely amazing job... not one tiny slip-up on the dainty cursive font (which I picked in store!) I had to ask for a break during the tattooing process, and she was happy to oblige. I only paid $60 for this service, and was pleasantly surprised with the price! I pictured something much more expensive! I've also had my nose pierced twice at this parlor. This thing hurts like a bugger, but the pierces are swift and encouraging and just a few seconds later...wha-lah! You've got yourself a lovely new piece of body art. If you have to wait it's not the worst thing in the world. They keep the atmosphere light... and I am a very impatient person (like anxiety attack impatient. It's a nightmare for my kids.) I have numerous piercings from many different shops in the metroplex and my experience at Randy Adams was by far the best. I walked in a few minutes before close on a whim and they were more than happy to help me. I was first greeted by Michelle Oneal at the piercing counter and she helped me pick out jewelry and decide which piercing I should get. She was incredibly informative on piercing locations, jewelry, and after care and had a wonderful attitude that made the experience memorable. While the prices at Randy Adams are a bit higher than those of other tattoo shops in the area, you get what you pay for. All the piercers are A.P.P. certified and the jewelry is made of only high grade metals which meet A.P.P. standards. This is very comforting, seeing as I have many piercings, all which have given me trouble in the past (rejection, infection, refusal to heal etc.) When it was time to go back into the room I was met by Sandra. She was incredibly sweet and comforting throughout the process. The studio was very clean and all the tools used were sealed and sterile. I decided to get my conch pierced, to which they told me they would use a 14G rather than a 19G (the size of my other piercings.) I was slightly hesitant but Sandra ensured me it would be the same amount of discomfort as a 19G and a better healing process. After she was finished I asked about using Dial soap as an aftercare cleaning solution (something recommended by every other piercing shop). She instead told me to use a saline solution that would still allow for good bacteria to grow while cleaning and flushing out my piercing. It has now been over a month that I have had this piercing and it has by far been the most successful. There is minimal to no discomfort when I sleep on the ear and I have seen no signs of incredible swelling or infection. The piercing looks beautiful and I will definitely be going back for more. read more

My 19-year-old recently wanted to get his ears re-pierced. He had them done in Michigan and let them close up. He asked my recommendations and I chose this place, based almost solely on one of the other reviews that mentioned the certifications of the piercers here. The piercer he saw in Michigan also had those certifications, and I take that very seriously. He came in here late one night recently, expecting to have to pay full price for new piercings. Instead, the piercer was honest enough to say that his old piercings were not completely closed up. As a result, they ended up charging him much less than he budgeted. When someone can get more money out of you but is honest enough not to do so when it isn't necessary, that's a business you can trust. I wouldn't hesitate to come here or send other people here. I went to get a tattoo with my girlfriend, we thought we knew exactly what we wanted, but the manager "Loumis" figured out a way to make them way better. He even went and got us Christmas cookies, such a great and genuine guy with his advice (especially since these were our first tattoos). We went with Andy Martinez and he could have not been better!
