I called ahead and made sure they accept walk-ins, which they do. I got in immediately. I had a friend with me, but she was not allowed back with me as per shop rules, assuming because of COVID restrictions. Masks are required still, which I love!! Whitney did my piercing and helped me decide exactly where it should go; she was extremely helpful as I have never done anything on cartilage. It was very quick and easy, and didn't hurt at all. She also helped me out with another issue I was having. If you go to this shop for a piercing, Whitney is your girl!! I will be going back to her again for sure. I paid beforehand and it was a bit more expensive than I expected ($50 plus $10 for the jewelry I wanted), but I am so happy with my experience!! I like this place, in general. Everyone is nice and the place is clean. They have tight rules for identification, which is great. When I got my nose pierced, they were super honest about all of the things that could happen wearing a mask for extended periods. They would rather me have a good piercing later than make money now and it get infected. Luckily, I'm a homebody, so it wasn't an issue for me. So, my issue comes in with the jewelry used to pierce my nose. About a week after I got it, I noticed swelling and oozing that hadn't been there before. Kind of normal with a new piercing, right? Maybe. I don't know. But when I was cleaning it after a couple of days, I noticed the stud looked "off." Turns out that the little crystal had popped off and was chilling in my nose. I had to dig it out, which was fun. Now, the top of the stud is gross looking, and my nose is not happy. It's healing, but that was painful, and now I have a seriously messed up looking stud in my nose until it heals. So that sucks. Got my septum ring done here and the first time she did it, it was crooked. I went to a second opinion, on the same street and they said the same thing, it was crooked, they suggested I get it taken out and get a refund and let it heal, and then they could try again. I went back to horseshoe spoke to the front cashier guy, asked for a refund and for the piercing to get taken out, and he said I would have to speak to the girl who did the piercing. The girl that does the piercings said they don't do refunds, that she could just do it again, right there and then. I agreed reluctantly and she fixed it, this time she did it with the clamps instead of eyeballing it. Honestly should have just left, she could've done it correctly the first time so idk why she just eyeballed it. It was double the pain when it could've just been done correctly the first time. Should've just gotten it removed and just lost the money, because she ended up tightening too tight and now I can't take it off. Same with my friend, she got an ear lobe piercing and she tightened it too tight to the point where it hurt the next three days, until she took it off. My sister also had her nose pierced there, with the same girl and it came out crooked as well. All done by the same girl, Tania. I wanted a custom 1/4 sleeve tattoo. waited 3 months to get something drawn up. artist finally came up with a design and I ended up getting the tattoo. I was lead to believe that the tattoo was custom and my deposit money went to design time, a few days later I found that same exact tattoo on the internet and the artist just copied and pasted it. Very disappointed in my tattoo as I paid a lot of money for the actual custom tattoo, There is no way to cover it Or fix it, I'm just stuck with it. would not recommend this shop for large custom pieces. My artist took 3 months to copy and paste the design, put my 100$ deposit to design time and then shorted me so a couple of hours on my day rate. I would never go back to this shop, not even if the tattoo was free. Do yourself a favor and find a different shop cause you will be over charges just to get copy and paste read more

I went here for the world simplest tattoo. I had so much pain following the tattoo that I knew the guy did something wrong. I had to go to another shop to get it fixed. I was told at the place where I had it fixed that the guy went way to deep which made it bleed. This was a very meaningful tattoo and it's almost ruined and will need it covered. It's suppose to be 1981 and it reads 1881. I've attached my tattoo and the photo I gave the artist. The lines were too thick and not even from number to number. Would NOT recommend getting a piercing here. I came to this place about a month ago for a septum piercing and left totally disappointed. When I walked in the back to get my piercing I saw the jewelry that was too big. I asked for a smaller piece and the piercer said no and that I was "a man" and needed a bigger piercing. I trusted that she knew what she was doing. After she pierced it and showed me what it looked like it did not look good at all and asked for her to replace it with a smaller one. She tried to take it out and couldn't, I almost passed out and threw up because it hurt so bad. I told her it was fine and left with a huge septum ring that I didn't want. The next day I went to another tattoo shop and the piercer there said that my septum piercing was horrible. He told me that it was pierced in the wrong part of my nose and could easily completely rip out of my nose. Luckily he took it out for me for, which was painless. The piercer at The Luck Horseshoe clearly has no idea what she was doing and I wasted $50. read more
