Great unique shop where not only do they sell chocolate, but they actually make it onsite and in viewing site. We were able to talk with the owner and hear of his start in such a unique profession. We purchased a few delicious treats along with Brewing Cacao, which you steep in a French press, pretty cool! Awesome addition to the list of unique stores in WNY

Their chocolate is glorious. They are very ethical too in their process which is great. I wish it was a tad cheaper cuz I have a tough time spending $8 on a bar but I understand because it's bean to bar and a very artisanal process. I honestly can't pick a favorite but I'd say buy one on the milk range and one on the dark range to compare and see what's more up your alley. They are a gem though and I hope they stick around for a long time!

The lady behind the counter was super polite and very helpful with my selections. I typically do my chocolate shopping at one of the competitors stores however I thought I would try Watson's chocolate and my first impression was very high. One of the items I purchased was orange sponge candy and she had a little concern that maybe some of it wasn't up to the high standards that they try to abide by so she asked if you check the box first. She explained that during the summer time sometimes sponge candy doesn't survive the trip for too long so no problem I said she gloved up and checked all of them, found a couple that weren't passing her quality control standards so she replaced them. I took that box and a couple of other selections, paid and left. One of the other items I tried was fudge meltaway which I had never actually had before. Personally my wife and I didn't care for it however that is probably just our personal palate coming into play as I'm quite certain it wasn't prepared improperly or anything. The coconut patties were very good and the orange sponge candy honestly some of it was kind of chewy. The fact that she had some concern over the quality of this and felt the need to check it kind of threw up a little bit of a red flag for me and after getting it home and having some I'd have to say I'm a little disappointed. I'm not by any means a connoisseur of sponge candy or anything however if what she said was true about it staying fresh during the summer months and obviously she had some concern that it may not have been, why wouldn't you just pull all of it off the shelf and make more? I mean I used to manage a restaurant and it's the same idea in my opinion, if you're not happy with the food going out, don't send it. I would rather have purchased just milk chocolate sponge candy and been reassured that they didn't have orange because it failed their quality check. So I took one star off what would have been a five star review for that reason, the other one I took off because I couldn't find the building. If you approach this location from the side that I did, the side that faces a little strip mall with a good sized parking lot, there is no signage of any kind anywhere that says hey this is a store that sells chocolate. It just looks like a house sitting on a separate property off to the side. My GPS said I was there, I'm driving around the parking lot for 5 minutes looking at all of the store fronts trying to find Watson's chocolate, and it doesn't exist. I finally put my GPS on walking directions and found myself approaching like I said what looked like somebody's big old house... And I didn't even feel comfortable doing that until I got about 6 ft from the door where there's a sheet of paper sized sign that says Watson's chocolate and has the hours posted. I mean seriously something that could be seen from the road would have been nice, something that could have been seen from the parking lot would have been even better. Apparently if you approached this from the other direction there's a great big sign so I would have had to have driven past it not realizing it and did a u-turn and then I would have said oh there it is. The lady working inside like I said was very super polite and I suggested that to her and she kind of looked at me and said the owners are aware of it but they haven't done anything about it yet. I'm guessing nobody local has a problem because yeah they probably know where this place is however I live over 3 hours away and didn't have a clue. So yeah I'm kind of mixed as far as my opinion of the actual chocolate, I might go back and try a couple other selections and see how they taste. If I do I will try a different sponge candy, maybe one that sells more often so the stock is rotated more often.

The toppings are always fresh here too, making this sandwich one of the best. My wife also loved her chicken ramen and said it was one the best she's ever had. First thing to note is if you're coming here parking choices are limited as it's on the corner of Broadway and School St. I believe I heard they're moving into the Village Of Lancaster that should help, but FYI. Arrived about the time my food was supposed to be ready ( 25 Mins after ordering ) and was told it'd be right out. Sat and waited another 10 minutes and finally received my food. Dug in to the Banh Mi and while it was tasty, it was half cold....probably due to the fact it sat and waited while the spring rolls I ordered were ready ( which were piping hot when I got them ). Tasty sandwich but how hard can it be to time the food together if this is what you do all day / every day. Disappointed. Gave them 3 Stars because the food itself was tasty, but wanted to give them 5 Stars but simply wasn't enough to compel me to give them another try

I got the Horchata one (since that is also something I enjoy). The first sip was good, but the more I drank of it, the more it just tasted fake and flavored, and I did not finish it. Based on that one I wouldn't want to try others. The food menu is very limited. The pizza crust is very thin - more like a crackery flavor - and the pepperoni is only in a circle on the outside? So it's basically a cheese pizza until you get to the crust unless you want to reorganize the toppings yourself. Atmosphere varies - many times I have stopped by and it was standing-room only and very loud, and I left without making it up to the bar. This time I came early enough that I was able to get a seat. It feels very dark after coming in from outside. Staff is friendly. Decor is fun and bee-themed. Restrooms are easily accessible and all-gender. Overall it is a fun place to hang out but the food and drinks didn't do it for me.

There were only three cinnamon rolls left... I was going to buy all three but then I overheard the little girl behind me say she wanted one so I only ordered two. Try a cinnamon roll, they're so yummy, cost about $5.75, a 16oz house coffee was $3.75. I ordered the two cinnamon rolls, a piece of a carrot cake (WOW), slice of a pumpkin roll and a large chocolate chip cookie. All equally delicious in their own right! They were packaged to go in a large cake box for me, which I appreciate so nothing got squished during the ride back home. In total I spent $29.50 and didn't feel bad about it, I needed some sugar in my life that was worth eating, I try not to eat carbs anymore as a personal diet preference and I feel amazing but if you're going to eat them, let them be worth every bite so you don't regret it. Anyway, I love this spot. I did attempt to chat it up with the woman taking my order, she was very nice.

I supported them constantly…read more They have wonderful gluten free baked goods, as well as great breakfast sandwiches with a gluten free roll, if one so chooses. I will discuss three different run ins with Gabrielle's. First one - I went there in January to grab some sweets for a little crafting party I was hosting. I ordered both gluten free items and non gluten free items. The woman working, who was new, proceeds to ask me if she can put the non gf and the gf in one container. I said absolutely not. How can you not be trained on this, or not know not to do that. Why would I be ordering gf items, if I'm going to agree to put them in the same container. It defeats the purpose. Second time - Valentine's Day. My husband and I had a tradition of going to support Gabrielle's on Valentine's Day because they offered different gf items and a romantic atmosphere. This was our third time attending since living in the village. We arrived right when they opened, and they weren't opened yet, which was fine. When the owner unlocked the door, she wasn't very friendly. I let it slide, and continued to choose to visit Gabrielle's because I loved the baked goods and breakfast sandwiches. Third time - I stopped in on my way to an event to get a breakfast sandwich. It was about 10 minutes after they opened on a Saturday. It was quite busy there. There were roughly 2 or 3 tables occupied throughout my half hour stay.  Most notably there was a mom and daughter there. I'll get back to that in a minute. When I arrived, I was the only one at the counter. The same girl from the first not great encounter was making coffee behind the counter. That is fine. What wasn't fine, was that she didn't acknowledge me at all and I waited there awkwardly to put my order in for a good 5 minutes. Weird, that you wouldn't say, "Hi, it will just be a minute, as I'm working on another order,"  or something like that. The owner also came out of the kitchen during this time and took several Door Dash orders, but also didn't acknowledge me standing there. All I needed was a Hi, I'll be right with you. Something. I felt like a ghost. Fast forward, woman takes my order. It is for a gluten free breakfast sandwich. I sit down and wait. I wait for a solid half hour for my breakfast sandwich to be complete. During this time, the mother and daughter duo go up to the counter and say that they told the woman when they ordered that they needed to get everything by 9am, and it was 9am, and they still hadn't gotten their sandwiches yet. Why does it take a half hour to make 2 breakfast sandwiches?! They finally get their order and leave. The woman goes from the kitchen to the counter and is yelling to the owner, "If they wanted their food faster, they should have went to Tim Hortons." There was me and about 2 other tables present for that. I thought that statement was absolutely horrific and disgusting. Everyone who came through Gabrielle's and who goes to Gabriele's chooses to spend their money locally. To help a local family and support their business. To say that in front of customers, is abhorrent. I finally got my breakfast sandwich and left. I ruminated this for a while and decided against posting this review and emailing them directly about how this comment was unwarranted and not ok and the employee should be reprimanded. I received no reply back. This happened in February and it is now May. I have not received any acknowledgement regarding that my comment was received. I can only take it as the owner and employees don't care. Thus, I'm posting my review.   Not to mention that they claim to sell fresh bread on Saturdays, and there were a couple customers who arrived asking to purchase the fresh bread, and were told it was still rising and would be ready around 1 pm or so. What?! You would think they would be more in a hurry to get their bread out on a Saturday morning. That is when people want to eat fresh bread. It breaks my heart that I can't support this business anymore because the baked goods are so delicious, but I'm going to support other local businesses that value their customer base and are happy that the customers who walk through their doors want to support local.
