Olga did a fine job grooming my two shorthair cats. I scheduled a full grooming (haircut, bath +…read morenails) for both cats. This was my first time taking my cats anywhere to be groomed so, I wasn't sure what to expect, and I chose to wait there during the appointment. I should have initially asked more questions about the appointment timeframes, where the cats wait, and overall wait times, but I was not sure what questions to ask. Good: Their haircuts look good, they received baths, and all of their nails were trimmed. I am pleased with how both of them look and I know they feel better with less fur for the upcoming summer heat. when I arrived I was given a 4 to 5 hour timeframe (from my appointment time was to until they would be done), but Olga was quick, and their grooming appointment only took one and half hours instead. I did wait at the shop, which may have influenced the time. Not-So Good: She did trim their nails, but they were cut entirely too short for cat nails. Both cats were not injured by this, their nails are just too short. The initial wait time was another issue for me. when I arrived I was told it would be about 4 to 5 hours. not only was this a long time, but my cats would have been waiting in their small carriers to be groomed and they were already nervous. I know some wait is inevitable, but I would have preferred a later appointment time if Olga could start their grooming right away. After being told this time, I was surprised when a woman walked in behind me with two cats and the same appointment time as me. That made no sense if there was already a lengthy wait time. Bad: The lack of cleanliness in the shop surprised me a lot. There was a lot of dirt and dust around the waiting area, and an overall unkept state of the shop. This was not a great first grooming impression for me. Overall, this was a fine grooming experience for both me and my cats. The haircuts look good, they received baths, and their nails are cut. Even with the good aspects, I will be grooming my cats at home in the future, due to the wait times and stress involved with today's grooming experience.

The girls were so sweet and you can tell they truly love dogs and love what they do. Winnie may have been nervous going in, but seemed as happy as can be when I picked her up. They don't charge outrageous prices and we can call on a Monday or Tuesday and they get him in by Saturday (our preferred days). My fiancé made an appointment and informed them that our dog is nervous around people and is sensitive to having her butt and tailed touched. She was told that it would be fine and that the groomer likes to get to know the dog before starting. Sounds awesome. Walk in and immediately the two ladies were making jokes about how our dog was nervous and that she couldn't escape. The (I presume) groomer took her into a half room off to the side by herself and shut the door. I could see in, which was nice. She cornered my dog and immediately started trying to touch her butt (not exactly the wisest thing to do with a dog you've just met that is clearly nervous or scared; feels like that's common sense). My dog didn't appreciate it and tried to nip, never coming near her hand, not even growling or showing any signs of aggression beyond, "Hey, I don't like that." The lady, without missing a beat, just immediately gives up and says, "Nope. Not gonna do it. Good luck, you might want to have a vet sedate her." Only reason I didn't protest is because I wanted to get my dog out immediately. Not cool. My fiancé wanted to give them a shot because of the good reviews, they're very close to where we live, and because we try to support local businesses over big companies like Petco as much as possible. The shop was clean! I was greeted immediately by the 2 women working in there. They spent some time making my anxious little pitbull more comfortable. They only had one dog that they were finishing up on before mine was started. They quoted me a reasonable price and time they would be finished. My pitbull girly came out on time, clean, smelling good, with a cute little bandana. I was also able to pay by card through their payment system.
