We had a slow main drain and Bobby and Zack came out to have a look. They methodically worked through the different fixtures in the house to locate the issue and had it solved in no time. From the moment I called the service number to the time they left the house they did what they said they were going to do. Seems so simple but so hard to find in a service oriented company these days! I was informed up front of weekend/off hours pricing. I made the first call at 14:59 and sent a short vid and a pic of the hot water cartridge leak. "I'll have to show it to the manager. He's in a meeting right now." I call back at 16:19, the answering service answers the phone. This company blew me off and closed the doors and left me hanging. If you cannot remedy my needs, that's OK, tell me. DO NOT lie to me! Wasted time just flushing my toilet and using a whole roll of toilet paper trying to prove to me my line was open. I finally had to ask him to stop. Then he stepped out to talk to the boss because they were under 30 minutes and did nothing. Called Darley's specifically for an estimate because our hot water wasn't working in one of the showers (THEIR WEBSITE SAID FREE ESTIMATES). they sent out a plumber and the plumber said it will take about couple of hours and is not a quick replacement job that he thought he could finish while he was out there. No work was done and the keep sending invoices for $145 for NO WORK DONE. When I called to enquire about the invoice they say they don't do free estimates and were very unprofessional and threated to put a lien on my property. THEIR WEBSITE IS FALSE FOR SAYING THEY DO FREE ESTIMATE I cannot comment on their quality of work because NO WORK was done. read more

I cannot say enough good things about this business. We had a leak on New Year's Eve. They came out opened the wall up and found it. The two gentlemen that came our were knowledgable about locating the leak behind the wall. Very little cutting of the drywall had to take place and before they left they cleaned up the area. Don't believe the hype on their video. These guys are just as bad as the rest. I gave them a good review prior to their coming out and then they go and cancel the appointment and offer me an appointment two weeks later. These bombs can't be keep people working for them, apparently don't pay enough to get their workers to come in and they'll give a damn why did they cancel the appointment or not. Oct 4 2023 was a sort of plumbing shock when the bathtub drain pipe broke at an almost inaccessible point below floor level in the little access closet behind the bathtub of this 70yo house. Darley's were here within just a couple hours. It took Glenn 2 hours to painstakingly tap out the iron shards that had rusted over time to the good pipe. The alternative was cutting the floor- Thank you, Glenn, and thank you helper SL for making the best of old plumbing. There was no clean up or repairs after they left. Darley's has been my plumber for many years, and I hope they remain so for many years to come. read more

I was able to get an appoinment the same day I called, it was a weekday. In fact, the plumber showed up earlier than scheduled. He tested the drain to figure out the best way to unclog the sink. He decided the best way was directly at the sink instead of the roof, which would have been a little more. He explained the best way to maintain the clearance of the pipes and was very pleasant. Called Darley's to fix a leaky faucet. They said they did not have the part in their truck so they had to drive to a supply store across town. This "drive" was included as part of the time charged. Parts cost $30. Final total to "fix" was well over $200 for a 1.75 hour job. Seems odd they did not have this cartridge that apparently is pretty common. I will not be using them anytime soon. read more

I don't recommend a company that wastes my time. I asked them for an estimate on a retrofit shower installation and a clogged line. The person I spoke with took my name and phone number and indicated a return call would be forthcoming; it never came. Unfortunately, the email address I had was incorrect and they never received my two emails asking for their services. The owner of the company corresponded with me repeatedly online over this review but never took the time to call either. If a business can't take the time to return my call to earn my business but takes plenty of time to respond to negative online reviews, why would I believe they will take the time to properly do any work for me? Use Turner Plumbing or Terry Vereen Plumbing who are much more responsive. read more

I've used Darley's Plumbing numerous times over the years: for home renovations, service calls at my home, and even service calls where I work. Have always gone over and above to take care of the issue, sometimes way after hours. When I've talked to the plumbers who have come out they seem to have worked for Darley's Plumbing for many years. Doesn't necessarily mean they're the best, but it does mean they have many years of experience (which should make them good). Price has been fair and the plumbers have always taken care not to get things dirty. I've seen them wearing those shoe covers which is nice not to worry about my carpet getting marked up. Overall, great work and I recommend them when people ask my recommendation for a plumber. read more

It has always been extremely poor organization and customer service. Lately lost estimates, late for appointments, no shows, and no call backs. The reason they may be 10 percent or less cheaper is they do less work than other companies. While driving down the street yesterday, a Darley plumbing truck had a green pipe fall off of its trailer in the middle of Blanding. After it went underneath my car and running it over, we pulled up next to the driver to tell him that he had lost a pipe. He kept repeating "how big was it? " with complete disregard that he could be having further items fall off of his trailer and landing in the middle of Blanding road for someone else to run over. The man ended up cursing at us and flicking us off and he continued up the road never stopping to check his trailer or to go retrieve the pipe that had fallen off of his truck that was rolling around in the middle of Blanding. read more

I called Darleys because a house I just purchased had a backup that was affecting my entire house. (washer, sinks, toilet, shower, EVERYTHING). I first called the plumber who was a part of the rehab of this home before I purchased it. He was close to useless, told me i most likely had a broken pipe, that my pump was working well and I was in for a major issue. Darley's came out, my Technician Mark was AMAZING. He right up front, after telling him my issues, knew what was wrong. It was in fact the pump. He made sure he knew all of my options, was patient with me and explained everything and on top of all that, he called in my part and was told he would most likely need to come back tomorrow to fix this. He stood up for me and said NOPE, he needs this done today. 3 hrs from the time he showed up, he was done and my house is back to normal. During the process I told him I would probably call septic folks to empty my tank, since water was up to the top of the tank since the pump wasnt working. He stopped me, making sure I wasnt spending money I didnt have to. It's hard to find honest tradesman now adays and I couldn't be happier with the price and service I received today. Tech worked on tankless water heater. Ten minutes after he left we had no hot water and same error code we paid him to fix. Scheduled a return appointment the next day, after waiting four (4) hours for the tech to return he called to say he wasn't returning, the heater was too old and we should purchased a new unit. However, he new exactly what type heater we had and the age before he ever came out for the initial visit. read more
