I felt very welcomed from the moment I walked in. I recently got a gel manicure here. One of their employees, that was doing my manicure; seemed like she was new at what she was doing. She kept messing up & forgetting what she was doing. Therefore leaving my manicure sloppy. I could've done a better job myself. I called the next day because I really wasn't happy with how my nails looked. Even my boyfriend said they look awful. However, Anna, the owner, was very understanding & let me come back in at no extra charge to fix it. Now my nails look so much better! The customer service here is not good. While the person did my nails, she constantly answered her phone, the store phone and then stopped to help other customers. It took over an hour to do gel manicure. And then when she found out I only had one child, proceeded to tell me multiple times that I should have more babies. Seriously, go elsewhere. read more

THE NAIL TECH CUT MY FINGER. I left this salon in the middle of my manicure. I just wanted a gel polish color change. The salon itself is outdated and not particularly clean. The lotions next to me were turning brown. The man who was doing my manicure had the MOST DISGUSTING hands I have ever seen. His hands were crusty, bruised and had visible sores all over. I should've known then to leave, but I gave him the benefit of the doubt. His tools were kept in an old Smith's plastic grocery bag. When it came time for the actual manicure, he was extremely rude the entire time and then USED THE WRONG NAIL POLISH. He used a regular polish and not a gel polish, which wrinkled badly under the LED light. He tried to take the polish off with acetone which made my hands a mess and didn't really work. So he used the nail drill on the polish and went over and over the same spot until it became painful and I saw blood. I pulled away and walked out. I CANT BELIEVE this place is in business when you can't even handle a gel manicure. I wouldn't recommend this place to even my worst enemy. Probably the WORST nail experience I've EVER HAD. read more

The ladies are nice, but the new owner is creepy. He lingers around and watches his workers. He is constantly trying to touch your hand or "help". Cant tell if he is just overly nice or just really creepy. I've been there a few times too and unfortunately its like that every time. If he would just stay back and stop hovering it would be fine but I don't think I will subject myself to the uncomfortable experience again. read more

As with so many places, the technician you get determines what your experience will be. Ask for "No". (She also goes by "Snow" - her real name is difficult to pronounce.) She is experienced and careful, her cleanliness and service is topnotch. I had hand surgery and could not do my own finger and toe nails. She was empathetic and made my nails look much better than I ever could - even with a functioning hand. The salon is located in the parking lot facing the Target store on Montgomery east of Wyoming. Great location, but I have never had to wait for service and I did not make an appointment. I did not see anyone matching the description of the bad techs described in other reviews - they must have moved on. Give this salon a try - and ask for "No"! read more

This was a wonderful experience. This salon actually pampers you, not like the others that flip and on to the next. They actually take the time to sculpt my solar nails so that they look so natural. I've been a customer for 3 months, I've had acrylics for 15yrs. This is my favorite spot! read more

This place is horrible. Me and a friend called ahead to see if they could do two full sets and they said yes. We showed up 5 minutes later and they took my friend and told me I had to wait which was fine at the time. She took two hours to do my friends nails and in the meantime other people walked in and were helped right away while I was left there waiting. I picked out my colors and exactly what I wanted while I was waiting and when she was done with my friends nails she told me she couldn't do mine. She said she forgot she had an appointment with a lady right then. I had been there for over 2 hours! She left a bunch of acrylic under my friends nails. This place is ridiculous. read more

TERRIBLE!! I have been looking for a new nail salon, so I have tried a few over the past months. I have been able to go 4-6 weeks between fills. I tried Darling because it's around the corner from where I live and I got a 20% off coupon in the mail. I visited the salon less than a week ago. When I called to make the appointment they were very accommodating and saw me late in the evening, 6pm. When I walked in the salon, it appeared fairly clean (4/5). There were only 2 people there; Anna (nail tech/co-owner) and a man (another employee). The two of them spoke to each other in Vietnamese the entire time. He didn't speak a word to me. She gave me her rings of nails to choose a color. I choose my color. Unlike most nail techs, she didn't even try to make small talk. When she did talk it was apparent that she is RACIST. If you aren't asian, do not go there. Luckily (I guess), she could tell I am half filipina. She asked me repeatedly if I wanted to get waxed. "So much hair! I make you better. I wax all the hair." No joke. I have all acrylic over my nails (no tips). It had been almost 5 weeks since my last fill. I went in because my nails had grown out a bit and 2 were starting to lift. She used the file to remove the gel polish. She made comments about how thick the acrylic was and asked where I had gone. Then she said "oh americans". (I liked the shape just fine.) I asked her to take off a little of the length, but keep the almond shape. I ended up with oval/round. I asked for a chrome color. She used a very very red base gel color and then the metallic powder over it. Apparently, the nail techs share supplies because she complained and muttered under her breath about the "other girl" who used her powder and messed things up. Anna applied the powder unevenly, so my nails look like they are different colors. The red shows through on several of them. When I went to pay she informed me that the chrome was an additional $12 and the shorten the length an additional $8. Including tip I paid almost $50. Would have liked to know that when I asked for the services. (I have NEVER been charged to have them file the length down a little.) Prices for services are not posted anywhere. By the time I walked out I had already decided to not return. By the next morning I had noticed that the underside of my nails were jagged, so I had to file about 4 of them. When I was combing my 3 year old's hair my nails were getting caught (the hair slipping under the acrylic where it was lifting). Within 2 days, the gel polish was chipping on the sides for 3 of my nails. On day 5 the polish on my thumb peeled off! Today, the acrylic is lifting significantly on 4 of my nails. Less than a week since I went in and I have plans to go get my nails fixed at a different salon. Save your money. Avoid the rude and racist comments. DO NOT GO THERE. read more
