And then she charged me an astronomical amount for the same service I always get, explaining that I got an "overlay". When I asked what an overlay was- well you got a new set. Well I didn't get any tips on my nails but it's suddenly an overlay and they charged me $70 for a manicure. I won't be back. They seem to charge you whatever they want. I've been coming to this nail salon for about 4 years and have never had a bad experience -- until today. I've always appreciated the consistent service and professionalism, which is why I was surprised by how poorly my eyebrow wax went. I asked for my brows to be cleaned up, and Evelyn was the one who helped me. Unfortunately, it didn't seem like she was confident or experienced with waxing. She was extremely timid throughout the process and very slow, almost like she had never handled wax before. In the end, my brows looked basically the same as when I walked in -- barely cleaned up at all. On top of that, she got wax in my hair and even under my neck, which has never happened to me here. I'm hoping this was just a one-off situation, and I'll continue to come for nail services, but I definitely won't be getting another wax here soon. read more

I am sad to say worse pedicure I have ever had ! There is a new very young, white, girl there. I believe her name was Evelyn. She was terrible I can't believe I WASTED $76. The massage on my legs was maybe 5 minutes TOTAL and it felt like a 2 year old was rubbing my legs. In other words the rubbing/massage was so light I could barely feel it. The "hot" wraps on my legs were barely warm to the point they were almost cool - I said to her I guess it's almost time to close because the towels aren't warm. She said I know I tried to warm them under warm water. The rocks she left sitting on a tray next to her so by the time she rubbed them on my legs they were barely warm. The armrest on my chair was cracked and wrapped with clear tape and the cracked plastic of the arm rest was digging into my skin. The chair barely massaged. What a TOTAL WASTE OF MONEY. Friendly service! Very clean and pleasant. Very fair prices. I have tried several nail places over the years and I think this place is the best I've visited. I doubt I'll ever go anywhere else now! Highly recommend making an appointment as they are always busy! Due to distancing they also can't have as many people in and so it can be a wait if you are just dropping in. Try the dip nails! My technician recommended them and I don't think I'll ever do anything else! So much easier to get done. I was not sitting forever which I greatly appreciated. Plus they don't ruin your nails like the acrylics. I just love how they look and sparkle. Lucky I didn't get into a car accident on the way home because I couldn't stop admiring my nails! First off, this place is always insanely busy. I've been here five times & every time I've come here every single chair has been taken. They try to work you in as soon as possible whether you have an appointment or not. I like this place because they work efficiently & do good work. My requests are always just a simple polish change or manicure so nothing too fancy. I don't feel super welcomed here but that is probably because they're very busy & are trying to get customers in & out. I only stop here if I'm on this side of town but normally I would prefer go to a quieter salon without a wait. read more

This place has been a life saver for me. I had a baby 6 months ago and they supported me as a new mom. Especially when I still wanted to come in and get my nails done but needed to bring my newborn son in with me. Even if he fussed a little they came together to help me out while also doing a great job on my nails. They remembered me when I was pregnant as well and knew how far along I was ..it has always been a special place for me because everyone who works there feels like my neighborhood friend. As far as service goes, I think my prior words already state how I feel in essence. But I will say it again... The service is great, the people make you feel like family, and they do a great job on pedicures and manicures. The prices are comparable to most places as well. A gel manicure runs about $25 bucks. Not impressed at all. My friend and I decided to try this place out because of the great reviews. She's pregnant and I really wanted her to have a nice session - the session was meh. I'll start with the good things about this place. They got us in right away and the salon was clean. They also provided a clear shield partition between the client and the tech (Covid safety measures). Not so good things. The nail polish color selection was limited, bottles looked like they had been sitting untouched for awhile. The prices for "luxury" packages and add on treatments were a little high for what we actually got. The basic nail polish removal, cleaning and filing services were low to poor quality. I had to ask for it to be redone because the tech did a superficial job. I could sense she was offended. I do not plan to return. read more

Beware! Anything but "luxury" Everything is "yes," over the phone. Made an appointment for my 6 year old daughter and I. Got there and she was waiting next to me. The chairs are cracked, mine was broken all together. 15 minutes in, I asked when my daughter would be tended to. Come to find out they had over booked and she would wait until mine was done so the same person could do both. I quickly cancelled my pedicure and told them to tend to her as it was her first time. The male proceeded to argue with me even though I was okay with the situation. The arguing, cigarette in the air, poor cleanliness and bad attitude from staff left me with a bad taste. This salon did an excellent pedicure for both me and my father (!) who had his first ever pedicure. He was more than a little skittish, but was having some issues with his large toenail and figured this was a better alternative than the doctor. My regular salon was closed for remodel, so we tried this place out. It was a 30 minute wait but they worked us in and the service was excellent. My father's tech didn't bat an eyelid at his nail issue (it was falling off) and gently removed the nail. He got massaged and trimmed up and viewed the entire experience as a positive one. My tech was phenomenal and gave me a gel pedi which still looks perfect four weeks later. She did a good job on my runner's callouses and left my feet looking perfect. Pricing was right in range with what I usually pay, and we left a healthy tip for taking such good care of us. Can't ask for more! read more

I made the spontaneous decision to get a pedicure since I didn't have my kiddos or husband for an hour (Go ME!). I knew with Covid restrictions that I was taking a chance of being turned away since most businesses can only allow so many people in their establishment. Not only were they able to take me as a walk-in, but I didn't have to wait! I was so impressed with the cleanliness, how frequently my tech sanitized his instruments, and the great job they did with keeping space between clients. This was some much needed "me time" that I was able to capitalize on. I was so happy with how my cavewoman were transformed into something dignified and the value of the service. Went for a gel pedicure. Made an appointment and arrived a little early and they had room for us. We went on a Thursday morning. It was moderate busy. They did a great job. Everything was clean. The massage chairs were a great addition! Everything from taking off nail polish, cleaning and scrubbing, foot and leg massage and applying gel polish. Cost me $40. They also have a great selection to choose from. I wish they had some more shades of white and off white colors tho. If you pay cash you get a discount. But they didn't tell me this until after I paid. Parking lot can be a little crowded. read more

They have a color book that offers fall colors/ winter colors that are beautiful, however after I chose the color I wanted from the book they said the color line was no good and it tends to chip a lot and they recommended I chose a different color from the dated nail swatches that they have. I didn't like any of the shades that they had for the color that I wanted... one of the techs suggested that I do clear or unicorn... if I wanted clear or unicorn that's what I would've asked for but I wanted RED! Far from clear it unicorn. I've been here before and had asked for a simple design and nobody could do it.... Plus they didn't have the gold I wanted.. they offered a bronze. If you want basic nails this place is okay. I will not be returning. read more

Oscar and his staff are the best! I'm a licensed cosmetologist which means I'm also licensed to do nails myself and I've read some of the reviews on here that were negative and most of them sound like they caught them at a bad time or were just in a hurry. The thing to remember about anything beauty oriented is to set aside plenty of time. Double your time whenever possible just so you can relax and enjoy it. That's why we pay for their services right? So all that to say, Oscar is awesome and he has done fantastic designs on my nails every time. The one time I had a nail break I went back and they fixed it for free so no problem. The one thing I will say if you go to Oscar is sometimes he nicks you with the nail drill, but I really like that they take the polish off by drilling and not acetone because since they're just drilling the sns or polish it keeps your nails healthier. read more

I've been going to this salon on and off for the last 5 years, my sister comes here as well as my mom. On Friday 8/4 I got my nails done (a full set) and by Monday morning I had my pinkie nail missing and all the others lifting. I called on 8/7 asking if they would fix them considering I'd only had them for 3 days. When I got to the salon, I was treated really crappy. Then the manager walks up after looking at my nails saying that there was no way they were done on Friday. I pulled up my bank statement proving it was done and for the remainder of the time none of the salon employees would talk to me. My nails after being fixed were left un filed where the new acrylic was put and now have texture that's visible (they are nude with a glitter ombré so it's very obvious) I unfortunately will not be coming back here. read more
