Horrible experience just left my nails are messed up uneven and bad customer service they don't have a menu for pedicures and do not scrub your feet they use a machine to file your nails and bottom of feet which damages your skin and nail beds. Im so upset rn i have to live with these nails two weeks and paid for a 20min pedi with calluses still on feet rough and uneven nails and also i have cuticles on my toes still and a bad ingrown skin i told her to get it and she said its my shoes i go every two weeks to my normal nail shop and they get it fine and have a pedi menu. I have tried other places (only because this place is closed on Sunday) and am always disappointed by the inferior pedicure elsewhere. I'm so disappointed, I haven't gotten my nails done in a while and wanted to treat myself.. the lady wasn't even looking when painting my nails, there's nails polish on my hands, she didn't even paint the whole nail and there's nail polish missing on parts of my nails. I tried to nicely explain to the lady at checkout that I didn't expect this turnout, and she seemed upset and still had me pay full price. The man gave me toe nails for finger nails. Seriously. He applied acrylic to the entirety of my finger tip. It looked like I had toes for fingers. I didn't realize this was possible. He applied acrylic On the nail, skin, cuticle and everything. Which BTW hurts and makes the skin burn. He burnt me 4 times with the e file. He applied the smile line so thick it was half the nail. I immediately went home and spent an hour soaking off my toe finger nails in acetone. I couldn't even take a picture of the nails I had to erase them from memory. Never ever will I go there again. The city of Albuquerque really needs to regulate nail salons. This one especially should be shut down. It's filthy. They do not use disposable pedicure sink covers. They aren't autoclaving the instruments. They aren't washing the foot baths after the high desert old ladies are soaking their feet in them. Everything in that place is covered in acrylic dust and bacteria. I can't imagine what goes on in the waxing rooms. Despite the horrible acrylic set. It really was frightening how unsanitary that place is. People shouldn't go there unless they are okay with possible catching infections or fungus. read more

This was my first visit here after trying 3 times to get into my usual place who was just too busy. I called about 30 minutes ahead to see if they had a spot and they said they would in about 15-20. Perfect! The place is large- tons of manicure and pedicure stations and was still pretty busy but there were a few chairs available on a Friday afternoon. Lots of color options too. It's your typical nail salon- things were clean and they were efficient. They do try to upsell a bit which I'm not a fan of but not a huge deal. The one MAJOR thing I hadn't seen before was how they file your feet- you know, getting the rough crocodile skin off your heels, etc. That those cute summer sandals cause. You don't have to agonize and keep from squirming for minutes from them tickling your feet because they use freaking POWER TOOLS. They have a sanding disc on a Dremel which is freaking brilliant. Not only is it super gentle with no tickling, squirming, and discomfort it's FAST. Yeah, I know it's a little gross but this was a game changer for me. That alone asking with the location is reason enough for me to go back. Price was a little more than my other place but still not bad. I had a normal pedicure with glitter on the tips and it was $30 before tip. Overall very good experience- a little impersonal and I had to wait a bit to find someone to check out/pay with but other than that, I would return. read more

**Continued: it has been two days and it's already chipping. The SNS dip. Unacceptable for how much it costs!** I have been here twice recently for manicures and pedicures. My original gripe with this spot is that they have barely any colors- maybe 10 dip colors and no variety in regular polish. It's not what you want when you pick a spot to regularly come to. This is followed closely by the fact that they remove gel/dip not with a soak but with pulling it off - that is so bad for your nails!!! My latest, and largest issue has to do with the powder dip manicures. Despite advertising the service, they clearly have no idea how to do it at all. Part of the draw if dip powder is that they don't put your nails under the UV light which is the first thing the guy did and already a red flag. Three tries later the polish was bumpy and didn't print evenly. He put gel over it but the nails are still SO bumpy and just look bad (which I tried to capture in the picture). Honestly, I feel really ripped off and irritated that they would sell a service they clearly do not know how to do. Mani/Pedi day's are supposed to be relaxing and here I am stressed about what damage has been done to my nails. read more

Was looking for a new spot to get my bi-monthly pedicure and decided to give this place a try. I've been going to the same place for 4 years... that's approximately 96 pedicures...and I'm so glad I found a new place that treat my feet with care. I got the deluxe pedicure with regular polish. No need for gel since I go so often. The price was great. The sugar scrub and massage was perfect (let's not kid ourselves... that's really why I get so many pedicures). I was met at the door and seated very quickly without an appointment. The staff were friendly and the technician was great! I didn't feel like my pedicure was being rushed to get to the next customer... I REALLY appreciate that. I know things have been more complicated for folks since Covid, but these errors don't seem to be related to the pandemic. When I was finally ready to return to the spa after things reopened, I scheduled an appointment with my regular, Diane. I showed up and she was already working on someone else, in fact she had just started. They said there was confusion about scheduling, so they put me with Tina. Within a day the gel manicure she did chipped on several nails. For my next visit I scheduled again with Diane. When I got there for my appointment it was the same thing all over again. Already working on someone, confused about my appointment time and lousy work done by Tina. Unfortunately my schedule is super strict, so it's not easy to reschedule or I would have. They were always apologetic about the mix up, but I couldn't help but feel like they didn't value my patronage since they always put me with the worst tech, especially when I had been going to them twice a month for the last 3 years. Came here as a walk-in for a regular French mani. Had higher expectations, I guess. The woman kept trying to push the gel, which I hate because they sand down your natural nails and it takes forever to get it off. Then, for my manicure, she proceeded to do kind of a half-ass job painting on the white tips which were ultimately streaky and not fully opaque. Then she barely put on a single top coat! I had to go home and add two layers of top coat myself to ensure they wouldn't chip right away. Long story short: I wouldn't recommend this place, unless you just need a quick, cheap, plain, clear mani (in which case you might as well do it yourself). My recommendation : Demi's Nails in Rio Rancho. High quality, reasonable prices, clean salon, great atmosphere. It's a trek for those who don't live in Rio Rancho, but it's worth it. read more

I had a really good experience at this place! I walked in on weekday afternoon and I got seated right away. They had many employees and nail stations which was really nice. I previously had my nails done at another salon, dip powder, so I had those removed and got a get French manicure. It cost me $39 which I didn't think was outrageous. I gave 4 starts because she nicked me a few times while taking the dip powder off, but I imagine thats to be expected because they were so close to my cuticles. Anna was so friendly and nice, she did a great job with my manicure I will be returning. Ive only had these nails done for 3 days but they look perfect! My first visit. Do not go to this nail place. I am glad I got the awful pedicure first. The nail tech did not ask if and how I wanted my nails trimmed. He took so much length off - it looked awful. He did not then shape the toe nails. My toes looked like I was 13 years old when I left. After my pedicure I quickly told them I am not getting a full set for my hands. Tomorrow - I will identify a professional nail salon and have to pay for an entire new pedicure and then pay for them to rebuild my big toes so that it does not look like a stub of a nail any more. Gave this place two tries....will never go back. Both times I went in for a gel pedicure. First time the technician was new, she had no idea how to do a regular French manicure, the manager had to come show her how to correct the polish. She didn't let it dry long enough so my gel pedicures which usually last 6-8 weeks only lasted 3 weeks. I went back today and picked a regular color. The gentleman that I had today cut my nails so short, breaking the skin on one toe that all of the nails are cut to the skin. I left there with polish all over my toes.
