Everything was clean, organized, and family-friendly (including the bathrooms, which as parents we definitely appreciate!). The owners and staff were incredibly friendly, helpful, and genuinely seemed to love what they do. Our kids had an absolute blast picking fresh strawberries, meeting the animals, and riding on the tractor, which ended up being one of the highlights of the day! The market was another pleasant surprise, full of fun snacks, treats, and unique items to browse. This place offers so much more than just fruit picking. It really feels like a full family experience. We'll definitely be back and would highly recommend it to any family looking for a fun, well-run day outdoors!

Tip: Buy your entry tickets online -- it's cheaper than getting them at the gate! This place runs on a "park-and-pick" setup, meaning you'll drive to different spots around the farm for each activity. Apple picking is by bag size, not by the pound -- the smallest bag was $7.50 and fit about 10-12 apples. It was hot the day we went, so we stuck to apple picking and cooled off at the marketplace afterward (skipped the maze and sunflowers). The cider and donuts were just okay compared to other farms I've been to, but the apple cider slush? Totally addictive (even if it's $9 -- ouch). Once the sun eased up later in the afternoon, we stopped by to see the goats and chickens and hopped on the hay ride -- the perfect cozy ending to the day.

This orchard was one of the last ones to still have apple picking available in the first week of November which we were super grateful for. Since most of the remaining apples were on the top of the trees they were thoughtful enough to provide ladders across the orchard which was support useful and made our experience fun and enjoyable. The instructions were very simple and were had the best time enjoying ourselves in the orchard. The apples were absolutely delicious and we also bought other stuff in their store. The apple cider was delicious and so were the Donuts. The donuts were not too greasy and fried perfectly unlike a lot of other places which I absolutely loved. I grabbed a bag for my friend who also loved the donuts so much!! One thing I would love to see here is maybe some sort of savory or fresh food options, like a crepe station or panini situation. I would have loved to sit outside in the picnic tables and have a sandwich. After a whole day of apple picking that is probably the only thing that will push this 5 star experience over the top. If you are looking for a fun, family friendly outdoor activity, please come here!!

We came on a rainy weekday so luckily didn't hit much of a crowd but she says there's usually tons of people. The tomatoes were the best tomatoes I've ever had. We picked about 70lbs worth and made sauce, chopped a few and froze them, and ate many raw - delicious any way you have them. Store bought tomatoes will never taste the same. Additionally, the staff was knowledgable and kind. Prices were reasonable for all their veggies. Check their website for what's in season and give them a call just to be certain, but definitely worth the visit for fresh fruits/vegetables.

We went on a Tuesday morning, and from the moment we pulled in, it was a great experience. When you arrive, they ask how many bags you want, give you big plastic bags, and then you're off to pick your own produce. We decided to pick collard greens, turnip greens, mustard greens, sweet potatoes, and a few peppers. Some items were out of season, so we bought those inside the market instead. Inside, we grabbed garlic, tomatoes, scallions, apples, onions, and a bottle of peach cider which I highly recommend! Everything was fresh and flavorful. The workers were all friendly, helpful, and welcoming. You can drive around the farm, park your car to the side, and pick whatever you need. When you're done, you stop at the booth, unload your items to be weighed, and pay there. They accept both cash and all major credit cards. A few tips: wear old clothes and shoes, and definitely don't get your car washed before going because everything gets dusty! I also saw a few people using scissors or knives to cut their vegetables, which is a smart idea, though we picked ours by hand. After getting home, cleaning everything, and cooking up the greens for dinner, I have to say they were the best greens I've ever had in my life. Farm-to-table food truly hits different. The prices were very fair and much cheaper than the supermarket & the quality was unbeatable. I highly recommend visiting this farm for some fresh, nutritious produce to feed your family.

So we've seen the pricing increase over the years, but it's still worth it for wholesome family fun. We usually visit once per season and this visit was for u pick strawberries. It was the perfect day for it as the weather was very pleasant-70's, partly sunny, no rain, with a slight breeze. The hayride felt bumpier than usual, but the kids loved it and didn't notice, which is most important. Afterward, we enjoyed some farm fresh ice cream while sitting on a bench and people watching. We'll be back for u pick blueberries next month hopefully, pumpkins, apples, and apple cider donuts in the fall.

Most things were closed down by the time I arrived (would love to visit earlier in the day next season), but we were still able to walk around and explore their pumpkin display, shop in the home decor store, and try some treats from their market. The pumpkin displays were lovely and perfect for a photo op. The home decor store had such adorable and seasonal items, all at fairly affordable prices. The market offered a number of treats made on-site or locally. Of course, they have their apple cider donuts (delish!) and a variety of apple ciders (particularly liked the sparkling cider option), but also a lot of breads, locally made more savory items, other beverages, candies, etc. Truly something for everyone! It wasn't too cold, so we enjoyed a donut and our cider outside on their many benches for guests. This was a pretty quick visit, but we hit all the highlights! I can imagine it gets pretty busy during the day (I'm sure it's a popular spot for field trips). Regardless, I would love to revisit during the day to experience more festivities and see Johnson's in full swing. Thanks for the fun fall outing, Johnson's!
