FOOD: Good, depending on what you order. I recommend their grilled meats and chicken as opposed to other baked and fried foods they have. Mixed grill is delicious and always tastes great. It comes with shish tawouk, kefta, meat kebab, lamb chops, arayes, and grilled veggies. My favorite appetizer here is the hommus with meat - the whole family fights for it! Don't like the bread though, it would be better if they had homemade. The tabboule was not good, very salty and kind of grainy. The complimentary spicy olives are bomb, I don't even like olives and I ate them. SERVICE: Below average. The waitresses are not friendly and are always sitting together, texting, sharing personal issues, etc. They are not attentive and are not very friendly. They don't come to check in on you and once they bring the food, they often disappear. ATMOSPHERE: Meh...right now it seems like they're doing renovations, so the dining area and smoking area are one. If you don't mind the smell of argileh/hookah and clouds rolling around your head while you eat, then you'll be alright. Our family doesn't mind, but I saw people who were bothered by it. I think it will be cute after they finish the renovations. The fam loves that they have a waterfall wall by the front door and always takes pictures by it LOL. HOOKAH: Good/bad depending on when you go. We've had good experiences and bad experiences so I'm guessing it depends on who's making it that night. Honestly that is the only downside that parking is really difficult to find. There's a general public area behind the building but don't count your luck. The hookah is amazing and the price is the same regardless if it's a weekday or weekend. Lots of places have weekend prices where it's An extra $5 for hookah but not here. Def try out the ziahdeh mix if you want to experiment something good. Food is pretty much what you would find at other places. Good quality and fresh to order. And ultimately this is where they get me, the service. They cycle through fresh coals often, you don't have to chase them. They ask often if there's anything you need. Yo real talk this the best spot in Patterson. I've tried Abu Rass and Al Basha and this place is a million times better. The mix grill is unbelievably good. The humus is amazing. Ordered the chicken shawerma sandwich with fries, and I must say it was pretty delicious! The fries were also seasoned with some type of cajun-like seasoning that was delicious at first, but got a bit overwhelming after a few fries. Nonetheless, food overall was pretty good. I've had dinner here twice. First time I tried the mixed platter which was delicious but I fell in love with the chicken sheesh. So, I came back to try it again to make sure it was still good and they did not disappoint. The chicken sheesh was so juicy and flavorful, the garlic sauce is perfect.
