As a resident of Sierra Crest, I first noticed Zaid Hanna's name back in 2024 when I saw his real…read moreestate marketing poster at my doorstep labeling him as the "your #1 Sierra crest Seller Agent." I snapped a quick photo of it, thinking I might consult him if I ever needed to sell. By the winter of 2025, I received another flyer from Zaid that read: "The market is frozen, but we didn't give up." Even though the market was rough at the time, that property sold shortly after. His words truly touched me. In the high-cost, wealthy Bay Area, a modest condo often doesn't get much attention; many agents wouldn't bother putting in the effort and would simply advise the seller to rent it out if it didn't sell quickly. Although I had never met Zaid, I saved his number in my phone right then because I was deeply impressed by his work ethic. In the spring of 2026, my mother unfortunately passed away, leaving behind a condo that needed to be sold. I was at a loss for who could help. The property's location wasn't ideal, and the market was slow, so I knew I needed a top-tier agent. While I initially considered finding a Chinese-speaking agent, for some reason, I decided against hiring a Chinese agent. That's when I thought of Zaid. One day afternoon, I gave him a call and described the condition of property. he scheduled our first meeting immediately. Zaid was very nice. Our first meeting went incredibly well. Zaid analyzed the market for me. It was April, and inventory was unusually high. He recommended a minor renovation, and I agreed because I knew it would change the look of the home. He was highly professional and honest with me, acknowledging that the market was tough, especially for condos. However, he emphasized that his goal was a quick sale upon listing so it wouldn't sit on the market. Zaid's true professionalism shines through his phenomenal team. From remodeling, cleaning to the official listing, every team member was diligent and responsible. The renovation took about two weeks--a bit long, but the results were stunning. The house officially hit the market around Memorial Day. Throughout the process, Zaid called me every Tuesday to give updates. Remarkably, after just 7 days on the market, we received an offer! This completely exceeded my expectations. Given the less-than-ideal location, I had mentally prepared myself for a long wait. Seven days was faster than I could have ever imagined. I had seen many condos on Zillow sitting on the market for over three months, forcing sellers to slash prices multiple times. I felt lucky. The subsequent escrow and contract process went smoothly without a single delay. All contingencies were removed exactly on schedule. Yesterday, on July 2nd, this modest little condo officially closed escrow. I am incredibly grateful. It is easy to sell a perfect house, but selling a property with an unfavorable location requires an agent with extensive knowledge, sharp skills, and precise valuation. I believe a challenging property is the true test of an agent's capability, and Zaid completely proved himself. He gives honest advice that both buyers and sellers should take seriously. I highly recommend Zaid and his team, and I look forward to working with them again in the future.

I'd give negative stars if I could. Gerald either has an enormous lack of knowledge about carpet…read morecleaning, rushed through the job or both. We paid him $520 for a minor carpet repair and to clean two bedrooms. At first, they looked great but then we quickly discovered after he left that the carpets were soaking wet, due to him overwetting both carpets. The main stain we hired him for reappeared in a matter of hours. He also broke a picture frame that we had hanging in the house. Never apologized for that, never admitted that he did it and never offered us any compensation. (Funny enough, he didn't make me sign any liability form....) When I asked him kindly to return and help us sufficiently dry the carpets, he kept telling us that it was normal and that he wouldn't be able to dry them any more than they already were (which they were not). He kept telling us to give it 24 hours until they were completely dry. He frequently refused our phone calls (early evening) or flat out turned his phone off when he said we could call him at any time. He ultimately begrudgingly agreed to return to help dry them but only two days after he originally came (about ~48 hours) since he had another job lined up the next day. That put us at mold territory galore since the carpet was not in fact at all drier in 24 hours. We had to beg him to come out the next day at which point, of course the carpets were still wet. When he did come out, he told us we were wrong about the carpets having to be left dry (he said they'd be left damp...our carpets were far from damp in that they were soaking wet) and refused to honor his satisfaction guarantee on the website. He told us he wouldn't able to dry our carpets with his equipment. When I asked for our money back, he demanded to speak to my husband hoping that he would get a different answer from him. Nope. This guy overcharges, has no clue about customer service and really doesn't know his stuff about carpets either. You're way better off hiring someone else who has a ton of frequent great Yelp reviews. There's likely a reason he only has one review every ~6 months. You'll be grateful that you stayed away.

Apartments are very nice if you don't look too close. My walls/ceilings are slightly uneven in almost every room. Main doors have coded locks. Nice bathrooms. Good amount of natural light. Nice flooring in apts. Negatives: Weekly reminder emails about stupid things like parking nose in vs nose out . Not enough parking for residents. You are expected to have all documents and be timely with turning things in/take down decor within 7 days, but they will take 3 weeks to solve a problem that takes 30 seconds. I had another friend who applied, was more than qualified, had time to wait, and still ended up going somewhere else because they literally took a month to reply. Pool/hot tub constantly closed for repairs. Gym not open early enough in AM to workout. Why not just make it 24 hours?? We use our own key to get in anyways. 3 story building, no elevators. Mailboxes the size of your hand but they DONT ALLOW USPS to deliver packages - you have to go to the post office on your own time, despite having a mailbox and living inside a locked building. Large dogs not welcome but the neighbor's little yappy dogs who bark and whine constantly are just fine. Meh, if you need an apartment in gilroy it's not the worst, but there will be annoyances.
