David and Gilbert were there every step of the project. I live in the Santa Cruz mountains and David still made the time to travel almost every day to make sure our project was running smoothly. My wife and I are first time homeowners and I feel like David did a great job addressing all our concerns including all the heavily rotted wood that needed replacing. This summer (summer 2026), we had a tree branch fall on our ADU roof and caused some shingle and underlayment damage. Top Tier provided a decent quote to come out to repair the damage. The team repaired the damage within 30 minutes of arrival. There's a reason they are highly rated. You won't be disappointed in hiring Top Tier for your next roofing projects. I heard they now also have a gutter and downspout replacement team. We may use them for all our future gutter/downspout related projects.

I…read morecalled 3 highly reviewed roofing companies in the Bay Area. 2 came out and gave me quotes, 1 no showed. Out of the 2 that came out, I choose to go forward with Apollo Roofing. I chose them for 2 major reasons. 1) they were going to deal with the scheduling of the removal and réinstallation of our solar panels. And 2) Shahar was so kind, informative, and honest during our consultation. He was through and kept us updated every step of the way. When our project finally started the crew were so respectful and kind! We found way more damage than we expected which resulted in our quote going up. However, due to Shahar being honest at the consultation we knew this was a possibility so it wasn't super shocking. The crew was great at cleaning up at the end of every day, which we appreciate as we have chickens, ducks, a puppy and cat as well as a child who are outside. When the project was done, there were a few concerns we had, we talk to Shahar and he quickly corrected and had the crew fix the items. Our roof is beautiful and will hopefully last many many years to come. I am thankful we went with Apollo Roofing and Happy Shahar was our project manager.

They did a temporary fix which stopped the leak right away and then followed up to come back and redo the shingles to properly install them as it was not installed correctly by the contractor who installed it initially. During the research process, the Los Gatos office staff was flexible and patient, and not pushy. They answered many questions and then sent their Project Manager, Bret, to check out our existing roof. Bret was THE BEST! Super knowledgable, provided great explanations/examples of different options that would fit w/in our budget, and again, was extremely patient w/ my questions. 2 DAYS! That's how long it took to take off my old roof and replace it w/ a brand new shingle roof! We had a new roof and gutter system installed and there were many color options for both. At the beginning of the process, they covered the pool to limit the amount of dust/debris that would fall into it and provided instructions about how to protect items in the house/garage. My neighbors were impressed at how quickly Bret's team worked. They were efficient, not excessively noisy (no loud radios), and respectful of the hours they worked. At the end of Day 2, the Los Gatos team cleaned up the yard, swept the area around the house, and (I think) even swept inside my garage - it looked cleaner than when they began. Follow-up included a walk around w/ Bret. He showed me pics of the roof and also scheduled the inspection (he handled all the paperwork too)! Between the research process w/ the Office Staff (Lisa in particular) and the actual work/post-work communication (Bret), Los Gatos made the whole process transparent and simple. A roof is a major investment, but I had confidence in Los Gatos b/c of how up front they were about costs and how quickly they responded to my questions as I was comparing quotes. Craig from LG Roofing gave us some great advice on exactly what we needed for our roof, vent and gutter setup. He was able to work with the roofing manufacturer to overcome some restrictions they had to meet their warranty. I am very…read morehappy that I chose Saber Roofing for plenty of reasons. 1) The owner, Ryan, met with me to discuss the work and was very thorough and helpful in answering all my questions. 2) Important details were covered including adding a rain chain in a location where a downspout would have been unsightly (picture attached). Among the details, the rain chain is made of copper while the gutter is made of aluminum. Having these two metals come in contact could compromise the aluminum over time. So, Saber installed the copper rain chain with a protective barrier. 3) Their client service and sales director, Jake, was super helpful and extremely responsive to all my questions. 4) The crew was very efficient, provided high quality workmanship, and left the site spotless. 5) The gutter guards that were installed provide a really fine barrier to prevent even small debris from entering my gutters, but are easy to rinse so that fine particles can be washed through the gutters. 6) The two downspouts that were installed were matched to the color of our trim. Other companies offer limited colors or simply white downspouts, but Saber offers a wide variety. 7) Their pricing is very competitive. From end to end, this was a great experience and I highly recommend Saber Roofing.

They installed the cabinets that I sourced from another company (although they also manufacture their own cabinets in-house), and everything was installed to spec with the trim pieces cut perfectly to match. For the countertops, I sourced my own quartzite slabs, and F&L handled the rest. They picked up the slabs, created the templates based on my cabinets, fabricated everything, and completed the installation. The templating team also went above and beyond to make sure my expensive slabs were used as efficiently as possible with virtually nothing wasted. They took the time to help me plan the layout so the veining flowed naturally across the countertops and backsplash, which made a huge difference in the final result. As someone who had never gone through this process before, I really appreciated their patience and attention to detail. They handled the entire project from demo including a small wall, custom vanity, plumbing, addition of pony wall, steam unit installation, and marble fabrication. We purchased our material in Santa Clara and Felix picked everything up for us, and kept our calacatta viola slab in his shop until it was time to fabricate. They did an excellent job with our marble, making sure to use every inch of the slab. I am so impressed w the fabrication of our integrated sinks. They implemented everything I asked for and had great suggestions for design ideas. Fernando also provided a rendering of the space and I added a pic in comparison to the actual space and they look identical! I am so happy that the project came out exactly like we designed. I recently had a need to find a company that could offer a comprehensive approach to a project for the purpose of replacing a well water storage tank to be used as part of a home water system. The project required excavation of an old concrete pad, the pouring of a new concrete pad, the installation of a new 2100-gallon tank, including the necessary placement of the tank on the new pad, and the plumbing of the tank to the house system. After some research and based upon their quote for the job, I settled on My Construction Group. Unfortunately, as the project was just getting off the ground a serious "hiccup" occurred, most likely based on "the right hand not knowing what the left hand was doing. This "hiccup resulted in a serious misunderstanding of what the quote for the work to be performed should be, If the "story" ended here my review would have been considerably different than what it is. Fortunately, after I contacted the owner Avi Suissa and documented what had happened, Avi assured me that he would not only honor the original quote for the project, but he assigned Daniel Raju to act as the project manager to oversee the completion of the project. This review is the result of the good faith actions of both these individuals, and most especially the hands-on approach that Daniel took once he was assigned to the project, Specifically, Daniel coordinated and arranged for a seamless timeline and a chronological chain of events to bring the project to a successful conclusion and followed through each time it was necessary. His ongoing communication with me as the project moved though the different phases and required changes was exceptional. Accordingly, I not only give this company a "5" star review, but will turn to them again if and when I have another need for such specific services (paving, drainage, concrete, plumbing etc.), or any other home improvement services they provide. Buyer be aware. My construction group engages in a number of illegal practices and uses their friends as "references". It's a very long and painful story but let me keep it short here. - When Abraham pressed you for payment because "the inspection passed", you do NOT have to pay. They can legally collect payment when the job is actually done. Plus, once you did one remodeling, you will know that the inspection passed when the job is far from being completed. - Review my construction group contract by a construction lawyer otherwise do NOT agree to sign it. One thing we learned the hard way is that - you will need very specific deliverables of each payment phase. They proposed a "payment schedule" that is way too vague. As a result, they have collected a lot of money from us without the job is actually done. - Do not believe that there will be a GC. Abram lives in LA, and he often hires kids in their 20s from his Jewish community to be the project manager. They can talk and they appear to be motivated, but they have little experience. Most importantly, Abraham does not pay PMs nor the actual handyman. As a result, your job will be delayed over and over. The PMs will initially try to smoothen things over but then they disappeared - because they went ahead to look for other jobs or set up their own construction business. And you had to fix the issues that were left by the inexperienced PMs (i.e. wrong dimension for your kitchen cabinet, wrong solution for the leaking walls) We made the wrong decisions after months of interviewing the contractors and please do not make the same mistake as ours. You rather wait and find a good one then hire them. read more

Our experience is identical to what other reviewers shared. And yes, you should run from this company as fast as you can - Do not buy what Abraham shared that the payment must be made when the inspection is passed. Check the Business & Professions code yourself, the payment only needs to be made when the job is completed. It's very COMMON that the job is not even done or poorly performed even the inspection is passed. Here are the issues that multiple families including us run into with this company 1. The project was delayed for over 9 months 2. No one manages the job. He often employs young men from his own Jewish community. They are enthusiastic but had no prior experience. The worse part is that they don't get paid. Two of them even set up a new construction business knowing Abraham will never pay them. 3. Subcontractors can put your house on lien also. 4. Many reviews you see on Yelp, Google, Angie's List are NOT genuine. Even the references are fake with hindsight, we were given 2 references. One reference shared the exact same accent as the PM. The other reference was initially happy with their work, but then reached out to us and shared a similar horror story with them like what we experienced. 5. You will lose a lot of $$$ on materials as the subcontractors will somehow leave a thousand dollars worth of quartz at "home". Maybe they want to compensate for the money Abraham owed them? Let me tell you, reordering materials isn't fun. read more

I had a plumbing lead from a bathroom remodel done by My Construction more than two years ago. I reached out to the project manager Javier de la Piedra for help. He responded within 1 hour and arranged to look at the problem within a few days. His assistant Ali showed up within a couple of days to evaluate the job. On the assigned day for repairs, Javier and Ali showed up early in the morning to tackle the leaks. They completed the job in a couple of hours without removing any tile, replaced the wall board in the ceiling and completely cleaned up. I can't say enough about this experience. Javier is a skilled and communicative project manager who solves hard problems without complaining and Ali is a skilled worker who seems to be capable of solving any problem. We initially wanted to remodel the existing kitchen, but Shon presented an alternative proposal that radically changed our original idea involving the kitchen, adjacent TV room and creation of an office space in the garage without significantly increasing the budget estimate. The kitchen remodel took significantly longer than expected and caused some difficulties for us, in part because we were living in the house without a kitchen. Thanks to Erwin who took over work on the project in the latter part and Avi the owner who made the adjustments. Shon's design turned the cramped kitchen into the tv room and made the tv room into a much larger and better designed kitchen, that included building a very nice garage office. They saved me a lot of money by suggesting to not take out the existing cabinets but just changing the surrounding design to make everything look modern. This is the first contractor I have ever hired and probably the last contractor I will ever need! Abraham did such a great job. He was so good so I won't need another. He makes sure all the work is held to the highest of standards and really wants the customer to be satisfied. If anything ever does go wrong- he makes it right. I was always able to reach him. We couldn't be anymore pleased with how the kitchen turned out. We needed to replace our water damaged hardwood floors in our kitchen area. This meant the having to remove the old floor, which had been glued on, scrape out the glue, and lay down laminate flooring which we got from Costco. My Construction's Abraham sent Daniel Raju who wrote up a very reasonable estimate and his crew of Fernando, Elan and Francisco finished the job in 2 days, hauled away all the debris and we can now walk freely in our kitchen! They also moved furniture and appliances out of the way and put them back after work was completed. read more

The custom vanity and door in my bathroom were not primed and the paint is chipping off with barely a touch. The paint job on my kitchen cabinets was deplorable. The paint bubbled and chipped almost immediately. When I questioned them about it, they blatantly told me there was no issue and blew me off. These are not the only issues I had with them, but they are something I have to look at every day. Also, they were very threatening when I didn't want to pay the balance because of these issues (in addition to a major floor issue which I have since had repaired). Beware!

They explained that since my existing patio is built with Alumawood, enclosing it with a regular wood frame would not be appropriate. The proper options would be either to remove the existing structure and rebuild it from scratch or use a specialized Alumawood sunroom system.
