They cut my dog and refusing to take accountability. I'm seeking legal advice because they won't even consider a refund and claiming this happened after they left. They even said they didn't use scissors or clippers on him?? Look at his tail! He was cut with something that could cut fur. So my 100 lb German shepherd is a whiney brat and Petco has banned him and an independent groomer I took him too was too intimidated by his size. So when I booked him with Dashing, I was clear that he whines and doesn't like his paws touched so I'm okay with them skipping his nails. Our first appointment was canceled last minute due to them having mechanical trouble, which is unavoidable but they couldn't see me for several days and the time was 7 AM on a Sunday, which isn't great. I agreed and they arrived on time. They took my boy, and an hour and a half later, they were done. He looked great at first glance and I was asked to pay. It was $170 which is a little steep, but what was more incredible is the default tips were 20%, 25%, and 30%. I believe in topping, but that's pretty ridiculous to ask for. I manually put in $20 as they don't have a corporate overhead and they're the owners so it's not like they're hourly workers. After they left I'm petting my boy and noticed he still has a mat behind his ear that I thought I asked them to take care of. He also still had lots of fluff under his ears. They had already left so I texted them and they said my dog didn't like them around his head so they just skipped that part. I mean fine but why wouldn't you tell me while you were here? They told me they couldn't get the nails but they said that was the only problem. 3 stars because they did better than Petco but overall disappointment. read more

Second appointment, not so hot. They took 40 minutes, which compared to the last time, was about 20 minutes shorter. My GSD still had a lot of shedding when they were done. 150 was not a good deal this time. I believe they rushed. UPDATE: Had to take my dog to the vet today for an ear infection. Her first ever! The vet said it was probably from water getting into her ears. She has had the infection for about two weeks, and the only time she's been around water has been with the groomer. Just saying. Unfortunately pretty disappointed. Lily and her husband were very kind, but I'm left wondering if there has been any training or prior grooming experience with long hair dogs. Had two golden retrievers, bathed, deshedded, dried, groomed and nails clipped. It only took her two hours for both dogs. They were returned to me still damp, choppy uneven hair cut (I would not call this grooming) sticker burrs and clumps in their paws, really a let down. Front nails had not been trimmed, I had to do trim and file them myself. Even had them take one pup back out to the van to even things out. I really just wanted this to be over and done with. Really no attention to detail and unprofessional outcome. Again, very kind and sweet people, just not the crisp grooming I've experienced with other professionals. read more
