Recently, the old cat groomer moved on to other pastures (we wish Kat the VERY BEST with tons of thanks for caring for our critters!) and a new groomer stepped in. I asked for specifically what we wanted (ridiculously silly lion cuts) with the warning that both cats are blind so they need a good deal of physical and audible reassurance. We have used New Image Pet Grooming for a few years now and Cat has been absolutely phenomenal. My Australian shepherd, Zoey, is extremely high energy and wary of bath time. Cat is incredibly patient with her and Zoey loves seeing her. I wasn't sure about mobile grooming at first but Cat was very thorough in explaining the process; she's attentive, responsive, and takes a lot of pride in what she does. On our first visit, Zoey's haircut wasn't quite what my husband was expecting and Cat followed up to make sure we got exactly what we wanted. At this point, I don't trust anyone else to do Zoey's grooming. In addition to the amazing experience we've had with Cat, the scheduling team is incredibly responsive and, on multiple occasions, has helped us find appointments that work with our schedule. We were referred to New Image about a year ago after our grooming appt at our usual place keeps getting canceled or rescheduled. We have a bichon mix who needs regular grooming and Kaiser always look amazing afterwards. I can never brush him out that good and I definitely don't have the patience to. He's got curls! We also started grooming our corgi puppy, Hercules with them because he puts up a fight in the bath tub whenever we try to bathe him. It's a struggle so it's best he can get a bath and brush out with someone trained to do so. It's such a convenient to have them come to our house also, less stress for our bichon because he has anxiety in car rides. This is a companion that has been with me for over a decade so of course I am extremely upset about what happened to her. She did not have this scab when she went to the appointment and left with a scab that is still there, months later. The vet is stating the mass will not regress without surgical intervention. It has been over 2 months. Before the grooming appointment she was not bleeding and surely did not have this giant scab. I understand you are human and mistakes do happen but this is clearly something that occurred during the grooming appointment and has yet to resolve. I can afford to take my dog to the vet. I was paying you to cut two of my dogs' hair. Paying for the vet visit would not cover the injuries sustained to my pet. Imagine taking a child to the pediatrician and they get an injury then the pediatrician offers to pay for the visit. When you were notified of what happened this is how you responded to it. I just wanted to prevent other people having to go through this ordeal and have their pet children possibly injured, especially for the amount you charge. I don't think you guys give two shits about the dogs you see-- it is not about the money. No amount of money would ameliorate this situation. The damage has been done. They always do an amazing job with our Goldens! Their messaging service is wonderful - they let you know if they can get you in earlier, message when en route, are responsive to all emails.
