We were a party of 4 adults and 3 kids who had not been to a Dave & Busters before (so we had no idea what we were doing). We walked in (probably looking lost) and were struggling to find a table that would fit us all. A waitress must have noticed and took us to a table that was large enough. She was extremely patient with us very attentive. It felt as though we were her only customers although the place was packed!! The food was okay, but the service was amazing! At one point she even helped us get a technician to a game that had malfunctioned. THAT is good customer service! read more

It's a gigantic place in here, but it really needs a freshinging up. The hand of a competent, agressive, detail-oriented manager is called for here. I went to D&B on a busy Friday night. There were quite a few people there, and the arcade (by far the busiest area) was packed. All of the games were in good repair or well-marked as broken, and the arcade was clean. I went to the men's room, and two of the three soap dispensers were out of soap. One of the ladies that I was with also commented that the stall she found herself in was out of toilet paper! This, to me, is inexcusable. The food was OK, but the service in the main dining room needed a little polishing. I got the distinct impression that our server was a fan of Colorado's finest, newly-legalized product. We received our appetizer quickly, but we didn't have any silverware or napkins. D&B can be a fun place, but it has the potential to be so much better. The front bar was not clean. When I sat down, I noticed that the menus had been dropped onto a wet bar, so when I picked them up, they were wet, and they also didn't smell all that great. There are details to be attended to here, but people will probably keep coming because the place is fun for kids and the arcade is well-attended and maintained. read more

Wow, I have no idea why there is so much hate surrounding this particular D&B. In comparison to the one that I somewhat frequent in California this one is definitely a lot more upscale with a better presentation. There is even a front desk available, who by the way helped us out with the game cards. The amount of games here is the most that I've ever seen at D&B. I did come across some games that were not working properly, but based on personal experience I was able to talk to an employee who helped solved the issue. I'm not sure what some of the complaints are about in regards to that. As far as dining went, I went with the eat & play combo. Even though the food was not overly spectacular, it's sufficient enough for bar food and besides nobody that I know goes to D&B specifically to eat. During happy hour the drinks are competitively priced at 50% off making it a great deal. To be fair I did come during a late Sunday evening so my experience may be different in comparison to someone who goes on a Friday/Saturday evening. I do think the one thing that D&B can work on is consistency as far as service goes, but other than that this is the best D&B that I've been to so far. read more

Arcade is fun and the kids love it. The restaurant is a different story. The service isn't bad, but I ordered Roy Rogers for the kids and the waitress brought us cherry coke. The receipt said Roy Rogers so I presume the company knows what they are, but our server was clueless. Our table had a severe wobble. When there manager asked how we were I mentioned it, but add in write this the table is wobbling all over. When I worked in restaurants, the servers would check and fix the tables in their sections and the managers would later have the tables fixed or replaced. I can't believe they don't know about this table and it's obviously been like this for some time. When our plates were cleared water was spoiled all over my chair and left for me to deal with. The food itself isn't bad but over priced for the quality and portion size. read more

A bit pricey but well worth it. I use this is my go to birthday spot for my daughter and it hasn't gotten old yet. Foods pretty decent nothing to rant and rave about but they've got an excellent selection of games. read more

Don't come here if you don't like loud kids, people eating, sports watching, and some possibly sticky games to play. Get real. I actually come here for UFC fights only. I don't have kids and I don't drink often. But I love that they play alllll the UFC fights and don't charge a cover to walk in. I buy a beer usually and watch the fights. They have 2-3 big screens I believe showing the fights and then some other ones scattered around the bar. The crowd is usually into it but sometimes they're just lost. If you want to spend little to watch the fights on a big screen, come here. read more

We all know you don't go to D&B for the food, but I'll say that the chicken fingers were a decent choice off of the Eat & Play combo ($15.99 for food + $10 of play). Happy hour isn't bad if you're already going there. The beer selection is lacking, but at least has more than just Bud and Miller Lite. My first attempt at a beer was flat, as the keg had foamed up upon being tapped, but the bartender gave me my second choice without charge. This location has a lot of games, and some good prizes for a reasonable amount of tickets. That said, I feel like they've increased the "price" of the games, making my $10 play card disappear quicker. Like all D&Bs, it's a great place for a fun date night or a night out with a group. This location was clean, modern, and huge. Be sure to sign up for their rewards program as you'll get $10 in play for free. read more

3 stars on Yelp=A-OK...and that's exactly how I would describe this place. First of all, props for a good location. Just off 25, plus across the street from the Colorado light rail station, which means you can park n ride. Hit or miss staff. I went in tonight and the front desk staffed seemed bored and un-interested, but not really rude. Just not the most welcoming. The bartender, however, was chill and nice. Same with the woman who was working the ticket counter. Drinks are pretty reasonably priced and they have a nice draft selection in addition to a full bar and more bottled beers. Come to happy hour for $1 off big draft beers and half priced cocktails (around $2.70) Sweet selection of games, from Galaga and the original Mario Bros. to modern shooters plus a lot of ticket games, including a trivia game that I'm particularly fond of. D&B is a good place for a fun night out with some amigos on occasion. read more

Spent a Saturday afternoon here recently, and because of some icky Colorado weather, the place was packed! We started out in the dining area with an excellent waitress, who handled our 11-way split check. Impressive! It was nice in there, not too many people so it didn't feel like a madhouse. The game "room" was absolutely packed with people, but somehow there wasn't much of a wait for the games, which was nice. Even though most of my group are in their 30s, we had a blast. What an excellent way to spend a snowy day! We will definitely be back again and again, especially for those fancy flashy cocktails. The glow in the dark ones are highly entertaining too! Just because we are old enough to drink doesn't mean we have to act like it! read more

I've been a gamer all my life, but coin-op (or in D&B's case card-op) games aren't what they used to be. Dave and Busters is a spacious, exciting, loud and blinking adult emporium filled with booze and games of all sorts. Sounds awesome right? Unfortunately it is pretty pricey. I had two beers @ 4.21 a piece, along with $25 worth of games. They even charge you for the little hotel room key type card you need to play the games ($2). However, they have the latest and greatest video games right? Not exactly. I believe that as home console games like Wii and PS3 become so popular/profitable, game design companies are no longer focusing on the large arcade games we knew as kids. This makes D&B filled with some very cookie cutter, often outdated games in which the only way they have kept up with technology is in price. Also, there were no fighting games...what was once an arcade staple is surprisingly absent from D&B. Furthermore, the games are horribly maintained. Pick up any gun game and you will be shooting like Helen Keller because the calibration is so far off. I rode a motorcycle game and was forced to maintain an awkward right turn lean to keep my bike going straight in it's virtual world. I can't speak to the food, but if it is anything like the service, don't get excited. I was ID'd a total of 4 times throughout the night, which doesn't make me feel like the man who was just blasting zombies with an uzi that I thought I was. I avoided the ticket casino like the plague, and thus my gaming choices were limited. Towards the end of my $25 game card, I really couldn't find anything I wanted to play. Skip Dave and Busters unless your social group really is that uncreative that you can't figure out a better place to waste $50 per person. read more

First of all if you can find the entrance, congratulations. No signage at all from parking garage. Walked into United theater to ask for directions and the gal there was clearly annoyed with me as I'm sure that happens a thousand times a week. Virtually every table in the arcade was not cleared from previous guests. Didn't order food per low ratings and it pretty much looked like deep fried cafeteria food. Besides, couldn't even find a clean table. 2 stars for good games. read more

So who doesn't love the idea of an adult chuck e cheese's?! Don't lie, you know you enjoy playing video games, while enjoying a ice cold beer!! The only problem is you're going to have to sell your first born child to afford to do so!! The games are played by using a reloadable card, but the games have weird credit prices, like 3.4 or 5.2...which is weird to me... And the beers, are crazy expensive, a small beer was $5.25, for Coors Light...isn't that stuff made around here, why am I paying import prices?! There was a group of us that went for the 4th of July, so we just ordered some apps. We got an app sampler, that claimed to serve 4...but when it came out, it looked like a happy meal in compairson to what it should have been....def not worth the $16 dollars we paid for it. But this is a fun place to go, I enjoyed myself. I just don't think I'd ever come here with the intentions to drink all night...or to have a 5 star meal! read more

I have not been here since the reno, which looks great, although kind of strange when contrasted with all the children running around. I am simply writing to say BEWARE: The food is terrible. Apparently, all the money was spent on sparkly new chandeliers and gigantic televisions, leaving nothing to hire anyone capable to run the kitchen. As far as I know, do not order the do-it-yourself chicken tacos, the salmon, the teriyaki steak or the REALLY terrible jerk chicken (have you ever had jerk chicken slathered in BBQ sauce? Me neither). I love all the reviews that say don't go here for the food. What?! If I am going to spend a bunch of money for my family to be entertained hours on end, there d*** well better be something decent for me to eat. Get your act together D&B! read more

I can see why the place gets less than stellar reviews. Been here about 4 minutes, and have been ignored by the appropriately titled "wait" staff twice after directly contacting someone behind the bar for assistance. I supposed meandering around is more important than making money. read more

Dave and Buster's isn't my usual hang out and I was there for an event today. It's a good place for events with large spaces. I am not into all the games but they seem fun for kids and teens. I wanted a healthier lunch and was impressed at the salad choices on the large menu. I ordered the lawnmower salad with dressing on the side. Before my eyes appeared a garden of red, green, purple, and white. The presentation of this salad was amazing- rows of red pepper, onion, green pepper, cucumber, bacon, egg, and chicken, bleu cheese crumbles all on a bed of romaine. It was incredibly yummy and healthy. The staff was overly friendly and we had two waiters making sure we had everything we needed. All in in all I left impressed with the quality of food at Dave & Busters. read more

Dave & Busters is a fun, albeit slightly expensive way to spend your evening. We went for a friend's birthday at 7:30 on a Saturday night and as expected, it was busy. She hadn't made reservations so the wait for dinner was going to be an hour and a half to two hours. We lucked out and found a table in the open seating section in the bar. Our server came and got drink orders right away, but the rest of the service was slow. We sat down at 7:45 and didn't get our food until around 8:30. We got our bills after 9:30. The food is fine, nothing to write home about, but certainly not bad. The arcade is quite large and has a good variety of games from the traditional skeeball to trivia and newer video games you would play on your phone (Candy Crush, Fruit Ninja, etc.). All games take a card which you can purchase in a variety of denominations ($10 being the lowest). If you plan on going again, keep your card in a safe place as you pay $2 each time you get a new card. The games average between approximately 2-15 credits depending mostly on the potential of tickets earned. The $10 gives you 40 credits. They have deals on weekdays and early on weekends. As this is geared towards adults, you are supposed to be 21 to enter alone. People under 21 are to be accompanied by a guardian over the age of 25. read more

Not a place for everyone, but if you're bored on a Sunday, want to eat and have a few drinks and do something goofy, D&B can be a fun time. They have decent deals on food-game combos. The food is pretty tasty, but it's definitely the standard grease-fest stuff. I do like that there are several different places to eat and drink throughout the establishment and lots to do - pool, video games, horse race betting - whatever! A little cheesy, but not so bad :) read more

We stop in at Dave & Buster's on occasion and it's a good place to entertain yourself with video games of all sorts and spend a good amount of money. I love, love the first person shooter game that has been there forever where you and your buddy (if you are so inclined) shoot the bad guys, going from scene to scene as you progress. Darn if I can't remember the name but it's nice to know it will be there waiting for me if I need to eliminate a little evil from the virtual world. I'm also a fan of Skee Ball - always a good stand-by. And of course the stock car race is great fun. Schooled two thought-they-were-soooo-good college dudes last time I was there. That is a good feeling. Just don't play games for tickets and expect to turn them in for fabulous prizes. If you get enough tickets to get yourself a D&B keychain then you've played way too many games that dispense tickets. Just buy the keychain and go play something more fun. :) read more

I went here for the first time with a large group and the experience was AWFUL!!! Our waitress was umm not good. But first lets start with the fact that on a Saturday night they were out of carbonation for sodas and draft beers. So we could only buy bottled beer and the kids could have anything other than soda. We ordered food and it took forever to get to our table and then it was messed up, then when we asked for the check we waited another 40 minutes. And not I am not exajurting. So after being at the table for more then 2 hours and not even really eating. To try and make up for it which was nice the waitress gave us a couple game card with $10 bucks on them. We went to play some guys and most of the machines either had a really long line or were not in service. We all ended up living. My friend said it is better if you come on like a weekday instead of a weekend but I don't know. Sorry Dave n busters. But perhaps not. read more

Just tried to go have some fun at this location and we were left disappointed and frustrated. Nearly all of the 2 player games needed to be serviced and either didn't work or took our credits. I come to this location almost every Wednesday, and every time I go to the bar Kiya and Camila greet me with smiling faces and positive attitudes! If they are not working when I arrive for some reason, I will not approach the bar. These ladies deserve a raise! You will never leave disappointed!! read more

The food is good, they have a variety of beers, games are current and fun, but it does get pricey.

Encountered my worst experience at a Dave & Buster's. If you go to this location don't bother eating, you might get your food within 30 minutes. If you do get it be sure to make sure it is fixed, at the very least, the way the menu describes the entre. Watch for hair in your food too. Oh and they can't guarantee that they will serve it to you warm. Thank god we all had drinks beforehand. Giving this kitchen a whole star is giving too much, I'd hate to work as a member of the front of house cause the back of house is taking money right out of their pocket!! Go get food before you go play games!!! read more

What's up with the lipstick on the 2 glasses at our table. Wash and inspect before you put them on the table. There were 12 of us. We had a good time. The food has been exceptional the past 3 times we've been there. I had a pasta dish. I wish I could remember the name of it. It had shrimp in it. What an amazing pasta dish. I'm coming back just for that. Keep up the good food! read more

2 1/2 stars as an overall rating? I don't get it. Came here last night and the place was packed...no doubt by people with children and not your typical yelper. I guess I'm a fan...not of the food but of the idea of going somewhere with your kids at all hours of the nights and just letting them loose to scream and run about. I've eaten at other D&B's before and even had B-day parties here. I can't recommend the food but I can recommend this place if you have little ones and want to pay an exorbitant amount of money for games. I'll continue coming here during inclement weather until the little one starts actually wanting to play games...that's when we'll enjoy the pleasure of the at home gaming system. MY ADVICE: Come here for the games and not for the food. Go elsewhere, load up on carbs and protein, and then roll over here. read more

We tried to have lunch at this location yesterday and it was a HUGE FAIL. Upon arrival we went back with a games are, we have a one-year-old baby so we needed short table. They only have 2. After roaming around, I finally found a staff member and asked where we could sit. He brought out a tall high chair but our babies mouth met with the edge of the table. To dangerous, she would bonk her mouth. So we then traveled to the next dining area. We stood and waited, there was one table of guests..no staff else in site. Which then traveled to the next tiny area. Same thing. Onto the next area..a staff member was walking by and pointed to the 1st dining area we waited at and told us to stand there and wait for someone to seat us..nobody came. We headed towards the main entrance in hopes of finding staff. We finally found someone and she told us to go sit wherever we want. BTW t restaurant only had a few tables with patrons. We sat down and waited and waited and waited finally that same server came over and took our drink order. Then we waited waited waited. We were hungry and our baby was getting restless so we decided to pack up and leave. As we were packing up, the server came over and asked what was wrong, we told her we didn't have time to wait around all day, we had already been here for an hour. She said the kitchen was really backed up.. there was only a few people there and they were eating! We left. We really wanted to eat and play games with our baby. What a bummer!! read more

First and foremost: your napkins smell horrible. I smelled 7 of them to confirm. Like no soap is used to clean them. Second: You need more 4 tops in the arcade. Before hitting up the IMAX for Where the Wild Things Are, we ventured to Dave & Buster's - my first time ever.... Unfortunately, the bartender was a huge you know what. She was so rude!! I tried to buy two beers and took my boyfriend's ID (just in case) but she told me in a very snotty way that both people have to be carded face to face so I went back and grabbed my bf and he went up to get carded. I stayed with my purse at the table. Then she told him that only one person could carry one beer. OMG. So I went back up, grabbed my beer and walked back down to our table. She was so rude about the whole thing that it was embarrassing. It was my first time there and we wanted to get a drink before happy hour ended, geesh! The waitress made up for it, she was so nice and attentive and we ended up getting a free round because we were like, what the heck just happened?! The food was decent and exactly what I had expected. Our server pushed the mozz sticks hard but we went with our instincts on the queso, guac, salsa and chips. Both our entrees were good but the mashed potatoes were the best part. The games are really fun and they have skee ball! There were lots of kids around to give my unneeded tickets to. The Eat and Play Combos are only on the weekdays. The beers seem expensive but they are pretty big. Happy Hour goes until 7pm. read more

Came here for March madness lunch - they had none of the games on until we complained and requested them change the channels (unbelievable!). Once they turned the game on, the reception was terrible on one of the feeds. Oh yeah - blaring pop music instead of game commentary - really?! Thanks for eventually putting the game on for us, but we shouldn't have to ask when everyone's there for the same reason. You'd think, given the nice remodel they did a year or so ago they'd have this simple stuff figured out...apparently not. No beer/food specials for March Madness. Food was fine. read more

Great place to hang out with friends or with a date! I like coming here on a Wednesday because it's 1/2 priced games, and they've added tons of games since the first time I went there. My favorite is the Mario Kart. It's spacious and is nicely divided from the Game Center, the bar where you can watch games, pool tables and the restaurant. It's also right next to the movie theater so you can play some games and have a drink while you wait for your movie go start! read more

Terrible service. Hostile employees. Drove 30 minutes and looked for parking for 15 minutes just to not be let in.

I could've sworn I wrote a review for this place before since I frequent it often. Oh well. I enjoy this location. It's so near my house, I can just walk over. If I happen to feel lazy, which is often, it's less than a five minute drive and there's ample parking. Food-wise, I've had several meals here. My favorite is a tie between the mac-n-cheese and the Cajun shrimp alfredo. I've also had their philly steak rolls, appetizer trio, spinach dip, and blackened chicken pasta. I don't expect 5-star restaurant quality meals from an arcade, so I've never been disappointed when I eat here. It's average and I'm fine with that. The prices are also reasonable. Game-wise, I'm part of the rewards club and there are some good perks to that if you're a frequent player. First off, you get really good email deals at least once a month like free game play, free appetizers, etc. On Wednesdays, all games are half-off. The only downside is that the games here seem to break down left and right. However, it's still a good value for fun especially when they kick the underage brats out by 10pm. As for service, it needs improvement. I've always had friendly service in the dining area, but it's usually super slow. The service in the game area is almost non-existent. Each ticket/prize game has a service light if something goes wrong. I've waited next to a game for almost 40 minutes before someone showed up. I'm not known to be the most patient person, even on a good day, so I pitched a major fit. Other than that, I've never had any rude service. read more

Well the 2nd star is because my son actually liked his meal. I on the other hand had an overpriced cheeseburger that tasted like one of those frozen patties that has been in the freezer way too long. Don't u hate it when u don't check Yelp until after you have sat down to eat. I must say our server did direct us away from a few dishes. When asked of the pasta and shrimp and lobster were good she said (I am not kidding) absolutely NOT! I guess the part that is really sad is I came here with my 19 year old son. I have been coming here ever since I first moved to Denver 10 years ago. While it is fun, it can get expensive real quick. What has changed over the last few years is on Friday and Saturday nights, it seems to be a little bit less comfortable atmosphere. Last time I was there, they had two police officers walking the area. I think it is related to the "club" scene which starts at 10. That is when they are supposed to make anyone under 18 leave and a DJ starts playing (although, I still saw many small children running around for quite a while after). And even during the day it has the same vibe. I was there this week and some random stoned guy was just hanging out in front trying to talk to me and my friends while stumbling around the place. This was at 4pm. I know he was stoned given the blunt he was walking around with, fyi. read more
