We mostly come on Wednesdays which are half price. It's always a blast. Very few games are out of order. Service is fairly quick to respond if a machine is out of tickets or malfunctioning. The bathrooms are usually dirty. I have never ordered food at this location but the game and dinner deals seem like they might be fun for date night. Saving tickets for a mega prize. read more

Games get a 5 star. This is about the restaurant only. I came during a non-busy time. There were over half the tables empty. Was told to scan the menu and ORDER/PAY for our entire menu. I had the entire thing done before the waitress even came over to say hello. She had like 3 tables in her section. She saw us multiple times and didn't even acknowledge our presence until after the order was completed. Then I request no vegetables on the burger, it had onions. It was burnt so bad I couldn't even eat it. I asked for ranch on the online order 3 separate times, it came with one for our entire order. I asked the waitress 3x before she finally brought it. We were done eating by then. There was no option on the app for the military discount either but it wanted to prompt a 20% tip when I did everything myself - just like I would at McDonald's. I wish I could give my tip to the runner who actually brought our food out instead of the girl who brought our 3 drinks and no refills in a partially empty restaurant. Will not return to eat again. I am a solid 20-25% tipper too so this was a horrible experience for a place we go to play games a lot. read more

Went to have lunch at D&B this last Wednesday. Wife and I walked in and stood at the host stand for 8 minutes and no one showed. We said screw it and went to the arcade to play games. We did have a good time doing that, and then let and ate at another place that wanted our business. Wake up D&B.....if you don't want my money keep having horrible customer service. My family has eaten here numerous times. The food is always average (except the nachos, those are always great), the cocktails are ok, the service is also ok. The prices seem a little high for what you're getting, but it's because of the convenience of the fun, I'm sure. You can usually expect to wait on a table on the weekends, along with a pretty decent crowd playing games. The games are fun and we usually only pay about $20 (don't forget your coupon, they're easy to come by) for 3 of us to play for about an hour after we use the coupon. We usually don't have to wait in a line for a game we want to play because there is a large selection. The baby is pretty good there with watching the lights from different games, and my 8 year old could spend hours there. Good family fun! read more

We went on a Saturday night and the place was packed. I will give a slight allowance for that. The bar was out of cold glasses so beer got served in a hot glass. We waited an hour for a table. We ordered immediately and our food came out cold, 60 minutes later. No silverware, no extra plates. It took another 10 minutes to get silverware, and we had to share napkins. We have been here before and it was just OK, but this was one of the worst experiences I have had in a long time. The waiter did offer free dessert at the end, so I raised it to 2 stars for that. read more

It was my first time at Dave and Buster's; just about everything I thought would happen did and I'm totally okay with that! Dinner was overpriced but included points for the game room which was separated from the bar slightly by a wall that kept out a lot of light but not quite as much noise. Service was friendly - we had to order at the bar instead of the bartender coming to our table but I wouldn't say it ruined anything about the meal. The grilled chicken, mashed potato and broccoli dinner was filling and the broccoli was actually pretty fresh for what I was anticipating. Fun time, I'll definitely go again! read more

Number of visits: 10+ Most recent visit: 6/2013 I go to Dave and Buster's for the video games, not the food or drink. But FYI, the food is pretty standard stuff, nothing to get excited about and the drink selection is eh. Now to the video games. On the plus side they have lots of them. A full, big room. Most of them are modern games. Stuff like Fruit Ninja, Time Crisis, etc. On the minus side it's somewhat expensive. You can easily blow through $20+ here very quickly. Half price game night is good on Wednesdays. Although I'm not positive if that still exists or not, since it's been awhile since I've made it there on a weekday. Another minus is that once you become a regular of some certain game, it will probably disappear soon. Other than a few classics like the Daytona racing game, the majority of the games here are replaced pretty often for the newest flashiest games. I used to play LA Machine Guns a lot...gone. Confidential Mission...gone. NBA Showtime...gone. And by far my favorite, Gauntlet Legends...gone. Also a number of the games are pseudo-broken. For example, on the ones that push the coins over the ledge it's not so uncommon for them not actually to spit out tickets, even when there's tickets in the machine. The game technicians are more than happy to assist you, but it can take a little while to flag one down. I've said a number of seemingly negative things, but overall it's still a fun place, Just not as good for me as it used to be, and unfortunately it's been trending down. read more

We came here for a New Years event, and had a fantastic time! I was only disappointed in the fact that this event was supposed to be 21+, however, there were some families with little kids there. Apparently, they oversold the New Years family event going on earlier that day, and that's why they were there. I really liked the buffet they offered, and the drinks were great! They did do the ball drop early, which kind of put off the mood a little bit. I love this location as opposed to Polaris. They have more games here. It definitely feels like there is more to do here than in Polaris. They also have the pool tables, which was fun to play on. The people I was with on New Years weren't very good at Pool. There were a few games that I enjoyed playing that didn't work very well, One of which is there beer pong game, and their Buck hunter game. We did get to play through all of the latest Time Crisis, and they had all of the levels available for play! Definitely going to come back and keep playing hard! read more

I had such a fun night out with friends. A few of the machines were out of order, but that didn't stop us from playing the others. This was my first time. I noticed the employees were doing a phenomenal job sanitizing the area and wiping down the tables next to the games. This is really important and much appreciated! I would rate this place as Ok. The service is mediocre. When we walked in, there were plates all over the bar and the tables around the bar. We had to hunt down the bartender. When we sat down for dinner, we also had to hunt down the server to serve us. After we found him, he did a good job, though. I got the chicken tacos, which were very delicious, and the other food that was brought out to the table looked appetizing. My friend also got the Brownie dessert which was Amazing. Wednesday is 1/2 off game night, but I still managed to spend too much money. They should have late night beer specials. Not Family Friendly We have been coming here since the restaurant opened at this location. We used to bring our kids for birthdays and just for a fun evening. We've brought the cub scouts. And we came here for our son's rehearsal dinner. Were here this past Saturday for a birthday and was stunned at what a disappointing experience it was. Chaos when we entered, no idea what the milling crowds were lining up for. Found the hostess station and put in our name. No reservations, so we waited an hour to be seated. The bar was fine, the bartender friendly and attentive. I should have stayed there. We were seated after an hour and then waited almost a half hour for a wait person to show up. She was friendly and obviously overworked. Very short staffed. The food was all right. The games floor is not what it was. I suppose they are maximizing their profits by aiming at teens and young adults, but we used to come here because it was family friendly. There was always something for everyone. No more. Now the volume is deafening and the lighting is dark and flashy. Very few of the coin-push games, and the few they had were monopolised by a small number people who refused to move. The games were mostly virtual reality, one-player games requiring two hands (which ruled out my daughter whose arm was in a cast). The atmosphere is not family-friendly. I would not bring young kids here. It felt like a dystopian future world, with dazed-looking people wandering around, isolating themselves in single-player games. I don't know if any one was having fun; I only know that we weren't. Won't be back! read more

Smells funky from the moment you walk in. Almost like a sewer leak or mold. Didnt eat, stench made us lose appetite.

I was so disappointed with this place that I don't think I will going back. Let's start with I understand that it was a Saturday night....The wait was 2-2 1/2 hours. We waited almost 3. We also had a larger party, 18 people, for my son's birthday. No one's meal was fresh or even warm for that matter. Then my brother ordered the loaded tater tot appetizer which came with everyone's meal instead of as an appetizer, and you could tell by the way the cheese looked that it had been sitting for awhile. The server was great at refilling drinks....That's it. He never even asked us once how our food was. I would not recommend this place, especially on a weekend evening. Busy or not customer service shouldn't be sacrificed to get people in and out. Poor service and food was even worse. Unfortunately I have to give it at least one star!!!! read more

Absolutely disgusted with both the company policies as well as the customer service. My nephew waited 3 weeks to celebrate his birthday so that we could arrive from Florida to join the festivities. We spent over $500 in less than 4 hours but felt like we were an inconvenience for the girls working the prize counter. We also could not divide $100 worth of credits between 5 boys without losing 250 credits! SERIOUSLY!?! We were not trying to scam, get over , or take advantage of company policy..., just simply dividing plays amongst children equally! Extremely disappointed over all and would never spend another dime in a DAVE AND BUSTER ESTABLISHMENT!!!!! The only star I would give goes to our waitress who was extremely attentive and rightfully deserving of her 30% tip, I sincerely wish I remembered her name!!! read more

My boyfriend and I did the "power hour" game plan on our cards as we were told that was the happy hour special. We weren't informed that the card only let you play a select few games that you couldn't even win tickets on. The girl we went to was very nice in trying to fix the problem, but when she asked her manager if she could fix it, she didn't even looked at us and said "no they're non refundable" and made us by another $25+ worth of cards. They need to make sure their employees are explaining what this "unlimited" special is so they aren't screwing over people. read more

I went here for a work event yesterday and had a blast. The food was decent, I had the grilled chicken and artichoke penne, and since it was early in the day and not too many people I was able to play pretty much whatever I wanted. Only downside was that a couple of the games had their volume a little too high so the sound was a little distorted but Not anything you couldn't deal with. And they had a little area that was under construction but it was well kept and sectioned off so it wouldn't affect the experience. Went to Dave & Buster's for a friend's birthday. After a server was rude and displayed inappropriate behavior, I had a talk with a manager who pointed out it was a recurring problem with said employee and he was going to take care of it and us. I took his business card and offered to leave good reviews because of how he handled the situation. He gave us a huge discount and our new server was excellent. So I left her a $20 cash tip on a $25 check. However, they patted an additional $3 off my credit card? After leaving a 100% tip? This is a pathetic new low. read more

Dave & Buster's is a great place to go when you are looking for something different. Basically it is a restaurant and arcade combined. You can go there and just eat, go there and just play in the arcade, or do both. When you walk in, it is a bit confusing. The first thing you come to is a desk, which is a bit of a customer service desk where they sell the game cards but it is not where you go to get seated to eat. You have to go towards the back of the restaurant to be seated. You can sit in the dining room or arcade. I think the food is pretty good- they don't really serve anything unique but the quality is good. The service is a bit slow though. The staff isn't exactly the friendliest either, and if it is your first time there and you are a bit confused about things they won't be much of a help. The arcade is fun but a bit expensive (you must buy a game card to play games, then the money you put on the card is converted into "points" and each game costs a different amount of points). There is a decent selection of games and a good number of them, so you probably won't have to wait in a line or anything to play. You can win tickets and redeem them for prizes. When you win tickets, instead of keeping them, you go to the prize counter and they count out the tickets you have won by weighing them. Then you can redeem your tickets for a prize or have the number of tickets recorded on your game card, so you can redeem them at a later time. I gave Dave & Buster's 4 stars because it is a fun place to go and the concept is fun and unique. The food is good, but the service is a bit too slow. Also, according to Dave & Buster's site, they have strict rules about one having to be of legal age to get in. At this Dave & Buster's in Hilliard, they don't seem to ever card. The worst thing about them not upholding this rule is that there are kids there late at night, and kids running around the arcade almost all of the time. I would have given D&B's 5 stars if the service was a bit quicker and more friendly, and if they actually carded people and enforced their own rules. read more

I've never had bad service here. Friendly staff and food is pretty good. However.. there are so many kids running around. Was trying to play a game of pool and I couldn't even pull back on the stick because kids (with no parent supervision) were jumping around and bumping into me. I'd possibly let it slide if it wasn't for the 12$ an hour hold on the tables. Just kids.. everywhere.. unsupervised. Spilling an 8$ drink from a random running child smashing into you would make anyone a tad bit upset. read more

Previous to our recent experience I would have given Dave & Buster's in Hilliard Ohio a higher rating. Not anymore. We often take our three kids of varying ages as a reward or just a fun family night. Again, not anymore. Our latest experience at Dave & Busters in Hilliard, last week, goes as follows... We had a lot of family in from out of town to celebrate a wedding. After a wonderful family dinner elsewhere everyone was looking for something fun to do. It was decided that the majority would go to Dave & Busters for some family fun and to wear off some of the pent up energy the young kids had. Good idea, right? Wrong. While enjoying what Dave & Buster's had to offer inside my sister-in-laws vehicle was broken in to and many valuables were stolen. After the break in happened the lies from Dave & Buster's began. First, a girl that works there said this never happens. Then another employee said it had happened once a few weeks earlier. Well the truth came out when they spoke to the cops. Apparently there is a big problem with car theft in their parking lot. It is such a big problem that the cops are staking out the rooftop trying to catch whomever is doing this to Dave & Buster's customers. Do you think that Dave & Buster's is warning their customers? No. It is completely irresponsible of them to treat their customers this way. The other tidbit of information that was shared is that there is concern that there is an "inside person", an employee, tipping off the thieves. When the cops are staking out their facility nothing happens but on the nights they are not there, the thieves hit. It is so unfortunate that this happened to my family member. All she needed was warning from the employees when she walked in to Dave and Buster's and she would have removed her valuables from her vehicle. At the very least Dave and Buster's in Hilliard Ohio could put a large sign on their front doors as a warning to their customers. Their customers, at the very least, deserve to know their parking lot is not safe. It is appallingly apparent that Dave & Buster's is only about making money and that they do not care about their customers safety or well being. Not only did they not give any type of warning to her but they then lied about what is going on in their own parking lot once it was reported. I for one will not be going back! Ever!! I will be sure to share this story with anyone and everyone as well. I would hate to see anyone else hurt or made to suffer the way my sister-in-law and her family continues to suffer. Not only was my sister-in-law and her husband robbed but a 9 year old and two 6 year olds had some very beloved Christmas presents taken. It is very hard to watch young children cry because presents, that had been given to them by Santa were stolen and also because they are scared to death. The kids can't even sleep at night. We were also robbed at Dave and Buster's in Hilliard, OH like so many others!!! Their dirty secret that they don't want you to know! Our family also really enjoyed our time spent at Dave and Buster's. That was until we went to leave and found our vehicle broken into and several thousand dollars worth of items that were completely hidden from view were taken just like many other customers have experienced. We drive a Yukon Denali with an alarm system and went to a well known multi million dollar establishment while on vacation feeling that we were bringing our family into a safe environment. We also were good paying customers that were robbed like several others have been in the Dave and Buster's parking lot. The employees acted like this was not a common occurence, however, the police gave us a completely different story. While filing the police report, we were told that breaks ins at Dave and Busters in Hilliard, OH is an on-going occurrence in the past few months. They do not have any surveillance cameras, nor do they have any plans on getting them, and they are not forwarning their customers that they have a problem. BEWARE...they don't want to take care of their customers, they just want your money and what happens to you on their premises is not a concern of theirs. When I went back two days later to Dave and Busters and asked the manager why they did not give customers any forwarning that they have a prevailing theft and break-in problem in their parking, I did not receive an answer but was told they felt bad. Thanks, but that doesn't take care of the electronics, money, credit cards, identity, personal belongings, and damage to my vehicle. If they would have just told us or had a sign stating that car thefts are occurring in the area and that it would be in our best interest to remove all valuables, we would have removed those items in a heartbeat. All we were asking was a little consideration from them to their customers. The manager did tell me that we walked past a sign 30 feet up the light pole that stated to "Lock and Hide". First of all, the sign is litterally no bigger than 18", it did not face us as we walked in the main row to the front door, anyone with small children has their eyes on their children as they walk through a parking lot and not looking up a light pole at a sign that does not face you, and besides.... we did lock and hide!!! Break-ins in their parking lot are an on-going problem and Dave and Busters doesn't have the decency to forwarn you, the good paying customer. Is anyone aware in Hilliard that the police have had stake outs on top of the Dave and Busters building and on a rooftop of a surrounding building because there has been so many theft instances? This is a big problem that they refuse to deal with. Dave and Busters, don't you think your customers are worth the installation of sureveillance cameras to help keep them safe when you know you have an on-going problem? CUSTOMERS BEWARE, a place like Dave and Busters doesn't deserve your business!!! And to Dave and Busters, you know what you can do about your offer of a free meal and games! Our lives have turned upside down from the break in. It's one thing to be negligent, but it's another to say you are not responsible for telling your customers of an ongoing danger that lurks in YOUR parking lot! 5/02/11 Dave and Busters have yet to contact us as they stated. An unfortunate incident that could have been easily avoided by security. We were told by our car dealership that it was definitely professionals working in their parking lot according to the type of "homemade" tool they used to break in through the handle of our Yukon Denali and surpass the alarm system. Dave and Busters, please put a security system in place so others don't have to go through what we did. It's the responsible thing to do. read more

My wife and I went there yesterday on July 1st 2015. We always get that grouchy looking bartender and top it off they treated us like we were begging for drinks for free. We had three gummy bear shots within 30 mins and they say they can't serve us anymore cause we are buying too many shots back to back. The bar area is always messy. The manager walk in back and forth but doesn't know how to manage his employee. Half of the games in there doesn't work. My sister got ignored when she was trying to get prizes for her kids. This place is ridiculous! Oh and the smell was so bad when we walked in, it smell like a woman was trying to spray tremendous amount of perfume to cover up her nasty monthly smell. read more

I had the worst experience ever. I ordered my food at 8p and it did not come till about 930p and when it arrived it was cold. A waitress yelled at us that we had just ordered our food and it will be out this was about 930p she refused to even listen and just walked away. I will say the manager came out she was helpful and explained what happened and comp our bill. She was very reasonable. I will never go back to that location. read more
