First timers to any Dave & Busters and we enjoyed it. We came in at 5 pm on a Monday night with a group of 5. Waited a few minutes to be seated, but that was fine. Our server was a nice young man on the job his third week. He did have some trouble with the questions asked about the happy hour drinks, but he went and asked someone and came right back with our answer. Makes sense as he wasn't 21 and the place hasn't been open very long. Ordered a calamari appetizer for our group and it was out right away. Our main courses came pretty quick and all of the food was surprisingly tasty for a chain restaurant. Two steak dinners (I know who orders steak at an arcade?), one burger, one pasta and one chicken fingers. Then we had dessert. 5 stars for the Funnel Cake Fries! Plenty for our group to share. Only real complaint was there were 5 undercooked/rubbery pieces of bacon on a burger and that was a bit much and kind of gross, so the guest didn't eat it. We ordered the meal/arcade ticket deals, so our total tab was a bit pricey. After dinner we moved on to games. Place still wasn't crowded at that time, so we enjoyed every game without having to wait. Our friend is a huge fan of this chain. We took advantage of the first 100 in the door to receive a free loaded game card. It's loud so everyone should consider earplugs, especially the kids. There was a mom with a tiny baby and all I could think about is her tiny little eardrums. I'm not saying it's not fun though and the music is great. We ordered lunch and loved the fries in particular. The menu is extensive so it shouldn't be too hard to find something for everyone in your group. My husband was the very first one to ride on the Human Claw. It's like the tiny claw that you see that comes down and allows you to pick up a trinket with the claw. Well, with this you are strapped in and hover above a bunch of inflatables. It was hilarious and lots of fun for everybody. We will probably go back and play some of the games. There are some amazing booths, and animations that are so lifelike. You could spend an entire day here as long as you have unlimited cash flow, ha ha ha. read more

Sat at the bar on a Saturday afternoon. Watched 6 employees (2 were managers, bald guy with a gage and a salt and pepper beard short guy) walking by us, no eye contact or greeting. The cocktails came out with in minutes the manager came by and said they were running a little behind and added 15 tokens to play games they kept coming by and getting us new cocktails which all came with in minutes. I got the 10oz sirloin meal and the liquid smoke or whatever they are cooking with it made the steak not taste right, a few bites were just unpleasently pungent. I had an extremely disappointing experience at the Dave & Buster's Santa Rosa on Valentine's Day. My boyfriend and I both recently turned 21 (I turned 21 in November 2025 and he turned 21 on just a couple days ago), so we decided to order alcoholic drinks to celebrate. Our server, Sewit (as listed on her name tag), checked my boyfriend's ID first. Although his ID had expired just three days prior, she accepted it and handed it back without any issue. When I gave her my ID -- a brand new California REAL ID driver's license -- she examined it for a while, then said she'd be right back and walked away with it. A man named Keith then came to our table and told me my ID was fake and that he would not be serving me. When I asked how it could be fake since I had just received it recently, his response was, "I can just tell by the looks of it." He then told me I would not be getting it back and would have to pick it up from the police station. I was in complete shock because I knew for a fact my ID was real. Our server kept apologizing but every time we asked for an update, she would say she'd "go talk to him again." At one point she mentioned she doubted he would call the police since they have their own security system. That's when I decided to call the police myself because it was clear I wasn't getting my ID back that night otherwise. The police arrived within about 10 minutes, spoke with Keith, checked my ID, and confirmed that it was completely valid. Keith then came back to our table and apologized. To the Dave & Buster's team: please properly educate your staff on how to identify a real California ID -- especially with the updated REAL ID design. It's unacceptable to confiscate a legitimate ID based on someone saying they can "just tell by the looks of it." On top of that, the service was very slow. It took over an hour just to receive our food, and all I ordered was an appetizer. This experience was embarrassing, stressful, and completely unnecessary. First time here was okay. I was able to place our name on the waitlist and receive a txt when our table was ready. Waitlist was approximately an hour, no problem. Once we were seated we never had a server. Had to go to the host stand and request one. Server was nice once she came. The cheese steak was primarily bread. Asked for two boxes. I think she forgot or went on break, had to go to the bar and ask for the boxes. The biggest disappointment was they offer a 15% discount for first responders. I didn't have my work badge, but provided my nurses license and drivers license for verification. Server said the manager needs to scan something. Wouldn't give the discount, so be aware to carry your work badge. On a good note, the kids had a blast playing games. read more

He checked on us often to make sure we had everything we needed and made the whole experience even more fun. This was my first ever time going to Dave and Busters ever so I was excited. Went on a Wednesday afternoon to celebrate my son's 9th birthday. Told them we were there to eat and to play, was never told about their eat & play bundle that would save loads of $$ but I expect that's to get the most $$ out of their customers as possible. Paid for an unlimited play card for my son and we were off. Most of the games were fine but a lot were found to be out of order which was fine since it was an unlimited card, but if we were on a more restrictive budget for the day, then it would would've significantly changed our experience. By this time we were hungry so we sat down to eat. There was not much of a wait time as we were one of the only customers in the restaurant however, the food left a lot to be wished for. I got the appetizer nachos and my son got the fish and chips. Nachos were not great. The cheese sauce had a very odd texture and taste to it. The fish and chips were overseasoned to the point that they were unedible. For my son and I to eat one meal and one drink each it was $76. When I received my change, the waitress short changed me on the amount of money I was supposed to get back. My son wanted to do the human claw machine and it took over 30 minutes to get somebody to help us do that. For being brand new and such a large attraction in such a high traffic place you would think that this would give such a better experience however we were left kind of meh. The only saving grace this restaurant and attraction has going for itself is their host, Sergio. He was helpful, kind, and informative from the very beginning and a huge help in getting us help for the human claw machine and anything else that we needed for our visit. Games were fun. My only feedback would be the dining area. I see other reviews where they didn't have beer choices available.. When everything is out, they should charge half the price of what ever beer you're cornered to get because there's nothing else.. or at least a cocktail the price of a beer? We spent $80 on 3 beers, a high noon, fries and nachos.. It's why we never eat out anymore. We just wanted a beer and a snack and it was an expensive annoying experience. Well, I usually don't post bad service reviews but I can't just let this experience go. We showed up at 6:30 on a Thursday. Party of 4 plus 2 kids under 11. We get sat immediately and wait.... And wait.... And wait. We finally get a server who is very new with their digital ordering handhelds and informs us they are out of basically all the beer except light beer like Mich Ultra, bud light etc. So we order some cocktails instead. He struggles with the electronics and has no idea what a Michelob is and asks me what kind of soda I want with my vodka and soda that I had requested. I think he thought I wanted Dr. Pepper or something and not club soda. And we wait... and wait... and wait. The drinks arrive and are ok. No real issues other than they were expensive and took forever. On to the food.....oof. Kids ordered pretzel dogs off the kids menu (oh they were out of cola icees as well) 2 of the 4 adult's meals come out. The fried stuff, chicken wings and fries. The other two adults wait... and wait... we flag down the server after probably fifteen minutes. The rest of the party is nearly done with their meals now. The other items were a salad and Philly cheesesteak. How long can that take? Ten more minutes go by and the other two meals finally show up. My salad was awful. Half a chicken breast diced up with dressing poured over the lettuce and not tossed with it. We had to ask for extra ranch after we had already told our server at the beginning of the meal we were going to need more ranch for the table. Anyway, it was also a birthday. Which they have a free "Sunday" to celebrate. Rock hard, very frozen ice cream, Hershey syrup, a small dash of whipped cream and a cherry. The ice cream tasted stale or maybe the lid had been off in the freezer for weeks. It was awful and the server forgot a spoon. Ok at this point we had been there for nearly two hours and the kids just wanted to play games. Let's get this awful meal over with. The server drops off one of those handheld pay at the table devices. Guess what? It isn't connected to the network. So we wait for our server who never comes back. We go to the bar and try to pay there. They are lost at our request. More time goes by. What a nightmare. We finally pay and just want to get a drink at the bar to play some games. Well we go to the "walk up bar" and wait.... And wait.... And wait. There's three bartenders back there but only one looks like he knows what he's doing. One bartender goes from one cash register to another to another. I don't think she knew what she was doing. The other bartender is moving so flipping slow. Like a sloth pouring drinks. We should've left but we didn't. We order two margaritas and we wait... and wait... 46 dollars later. Yes 46$! I don't even want to be here anymore but the kids wanted to play so we do for maybe an hour before they have to go home to sleep. Oh did I mention we found a long blonde hair in one of these drinks? Yep that happened. This was an awful experience. This place has been open for more than six weeks but you'd think they just opened their doors yesterday. The wait staff needs training, the kitchen needs quality control and organization, the bar needs real bartenders and urgency. They were out of so much stuff it blew my mind. This was the worst experience I have ever had on a date night with my family bar none because of one guy. Have a question about your order for your waitress? This rude guy will show up. Try to intimidate you and say, "Is there a problem!?" While glaring at you. Then, they'll tell you one thing, do another, call you a liar, tell you to your face they add items onto your order without disclosing the added cost to you intentionally, even after you asked prior to ordering if there would be an added cost and your waitress told you no. Oh corporate, please fire the guy I dealt with tonight. If it would not have been for this one guy, we would have had a blast. At first I thought he was the bar tender because he came out all puffy when I had a question about my drink for my waitress. He took it upon himself to come out to our table and make me feel very uncomfortable, asking awkward questions. Then he did the same thing two more times only it was like 10 times worse, after my waitress asked me to look over my bill to ensure everything was correct which was when I noticed the discrepancies and all the additional charges. Finally, just when I thought I was rid of this jerk and wouldn't have to deal with him again. My family spent $50 on a Wednesday on games and went to get our prize. The cashier said we had enough tickets to cover the items we wanted. She said I would need to wait for a manager to come and get one of the prizes. I agree. I wait several minutes and guess who shows up, my pal from before. This time it gets worse...way worse. He starts off by saying, "So, what's the problem. Boy we just can't make you happy tonight can we. I mean, you were just over there in the dining area trying to get free stuff and now you're over here trying to do the same thing." I said, "What are you talking about? First off, that is not what I did over there. Second of all, that had nothing to do with what is going on here. He proceeded to take my card and tell me that the ticket balance was over 800 tickets short of what the clerks had just verified that the total was. Either he took the 800+ tickets off my card or one of the clerks did without my authorization. Then he called me a liar in front of my family, my wife and son went out to the car. Meanwhile he forced me to give him an additional 800+ tickets that my son and I were saving up for something else after the clerk we were dealing with just told us that we had sufficient tickets for the items we picked out. I really felt at the end of the visit that I would never go back and was so disgusted that I wanted to throw all our hard earned tickets up in the air or give them to a random stranger. My personal takeaway: Greeters: 2/5 stars Waitresses: 4/5 stars (trained to hide upsell prices from customers.) Food/Beverages: 5/5 (taste only - prices non-transparent.) Method of dealing with just about every patron request: -5/5 stars. No matter how small of a request you make between yourself and any staff in the building to try and obtain a shred of help with something, be prepared for an awkward encounter like none other where that guy will come out and make you feel super unwelcome and insult you.
