Stopped by Homeslice after dinner for a couple of nightcap cocktails and had a great experience at the bar. We ordered a Cosmopolitan and a Whiskey Sour, both expertly made by our bartender, Jamie. She had fantastic hospitality--checking in to see if we liked our drinks, which was a nice touch since some bartenders just make the drinks and move on. The bar itself has a cute, welcoming vibe and is open late, which is a rarity on this side of town. There were several people there, but it wasn't overcrowded, making for a relaxed atmosphere. We'll definitely be back to try the food! A great spot for well-made drinks and a chill night out. read more

Tried this place last week and was pleasantly surprised by the warmth and attitude of the staff. Our server Michelle V couldn't have been nicer or more professional. She explained the menu, promptly served our drink order and constantly checked in with us. The place was fairly crowded when we arrived, with families with kids and couples. They have a daily Happy Hour. The sweet potato fries were hot, not greasy, the kids pizza was good , the crispy rice Ahi was delicious but at $11 for 2 pieces seemed expensive. We had the Dad Pants Pils and a Hen house IPA during Happy Hour. Afterwards we had a Russian River Pale Ale and the Roasted Fig Pizza. Unfortunately the pizza was not good. It must of been in the oven too long, the figs were dried out and the pizza tasteless. We purposely got this pizza since it sounded so delicious. Review would have been 5 stars if pizza had been good. It is noisy, but good noisy. The sounds of people having fun. The bar is set up to watch sports. We were excited to dine somewhere new after seeing all the different menu items on yelp but when we arrived there was a short menu with barely any food items but they had plenty of alcohol! The service was subpar....food was as well. Mac n Cheese watery. Best part was the pesto rolls. All of our other items were not tasty at all. They need to take all the photos down of food items they no longer carry. It's extremely deceiving. If I was passing through I might stop by for the pesto rolls to go but it won't be on our list of places for a sit down dinner. Do better! read more

Came during Sunday for Sunday lunch and didn't realize they only had a Mother's Day brunch. We were seated immediately, however. It's a sports bar like vibe. Casual eatery with a focused menu and great cocktails! It is a full service restaurant with a nice bar area. Taylor and I come for happy hour often, but we decided to stop by for their weekend brunch, and it was a pleasant surprise. I find too many places will add breakfast/brunch to their menu as an "easy" revenue stream, and then it's a sad afterthought. The service was great! BUT the food is so salty with no other flavor. 1. Popcorn chicken. I don't know what flavor was on it but there was definitely salt. 2. Pork Eggroll. This was the salty hot garbage. 3. Hot honey pizza. No flavor. I don't even think there was hot honey on it. The meat on it was also... you guessed it! Salty. 4. Margarita pizza. This place is great !! Went for the first time with our family and 2 small kids for dinner the other night and everything was great!!! The food was delicious and came out so quick!! It's a nice family friendly spot and also has a nice kind of secluded bar area too!! Outdoor seating as well. Customer service was great. We ordered a few pizzas to share. The fig balsamic one (which was 10/10 amazing ) and the smashburger pizza , Which was a special of the day. It tasted exactly like you'd imagine, pieces of burger on there with pickles and a thousand island tasting dressing on top. Really good and unique. I also got the green goddess wedge salad and it was huge and delicious . There is a nice kids menu as well. We got the kids a cheese pizza to share and it was pretty big so just fyi the kids pizza is the same size as their regular pizzas!!! The dessert was PHENOMENAL. I got the warm cookie with ice cream (kind of like a pizookie but better) and I inhaled it. Sooooo good. My only complaint is that our drinks (some glasses of wine , mocktails and juice for the kids) took a while and came AFTER the food was brought to us. But not a deal breaker and we'll definitely be returning!! They have a spicy chicken ziti that I NEED to try!!!! read more

Jan2024 Cute little spot. We had sat at the bar to catch the football game which had a nice single tv screen for all the highlights. Service was attentive and checked in frequently. He had also helped with any questions we had regarding the menu. Water refills were good. The rest of the area had good size tables so it wouldn't be bad fitting between 4-8 people also. I had ordered the cauliflower "steak", mac n cheese, and a beet salad. My compatriot ordered the smash burger with fries on the side. Everything had good flavors and were cooked well. I think the only thing that didn't hit the mark was the steak. While I liked the chimichurri sauce that came with it, it just felt like overcooked cauliflower and just a few tiny heads for the price. The mac n cheese was good though. Nice and saucy. The beet salad was well balanced as well, with the crispy quinoa adding some good crunch. Compatriot also like her burger and said the homeslice sauce worked well. The drinks were also interesting, though I don't recall the names for them. It'd be interesting to see if it changes with the seasons and get to see new creations. I did like that there were a number of them whiskey based to try things out. Clean flavors throughout. I'd be interested to check some of the other vegetarian options on the menu on next visit. read more

Amazing service! Delicious pizza! Incredible sandwiches! Everything is TASTY! And cocktails are top notch! We always get treated like family when we visit Homeslice by ALL of the friendly staff! Kids get ice cream for free from the cute ice cream bar if they wear their baseball/basketball/football/soccer jerseys. One of our FAVORITE family spots in Sonoma County! Also a great place to post up and watch the game on one of their huge TVs. There is no other place like Homeslice and I'm so glad it's on the east side of Santa Rosa. The popcorn chicken here is great!!!! Best one I've had! Service was also good here very attentive. However the mushroom burger is literally just the mushroom, I had to ask for an extra patty. Disappointed. As a family with small kids we value the times we go out and this was just not good. We had been eyeing this spot for months and finally made it over there. We will not be returning. Everything was overpriced for what it was. Meat lovers pizza was edible, otherwise unimpressed and on the small size for the cost. Truffle fries were the worst I've ever had, it seemed like a frozen bag of fries tossed in some truffle oil. Kids food also tasted like it came out of a frozen bag. I had a very bad experience with the bar tender. I believe his name was Jayden. He was extremely disrespectful and I felt very dismissed. He did not attend to our group. When he did finally come to our group he was very short and seemed to rush our order. I do not feel like this is a reflection of the business but I do not like how we are treated. The food was amazing! We went during happy hour and ordered the mini pizza, tuna tartare, and fries. All of them were delicious. My husband couldn't stop talking about the tuna tartare on crispy rice on the way home. Our drinks were amazing, too. I'm pregnant so I had one of their mocktails. It was so tasty and made me feel like I wasn't missing out on alcohol at all. My husband got the old fashioned and said it tasted great. I looked at their other cocktails and they all sound amazing. i was invited by a friend who has been there previously , tucked in the middle of sky hawk center. I've lived here a long time and didn't know Ausiello's had another place. The downtown location is a favorite of mine. Walking in was inviting a bar to the left with big tables for client who were dining in. The service came over and took our order and were very attentive throughout our visit. I order the queso and chips and then the grilled cheese with soup. The servicer told me the soup was different than was listed , no problem most locations are that way . So far so good until the food arrived - I was expecting queso and chips and what I got was tostado chips that were huge in size and what tasted like Valveta cheese that thickened as it sat and was really salty to the taste. I let my friends eat it and they also did not finish it because of taste. Then my soup and grilled cheese arrived - potatoe leek soup was fine, enough flavor but definitely not what you want to dip your grilled cheese in. The grilled cheese stated it was guyere cheese with some grilled onions . When arrived it was grilled onions with good luck tasting any cheese. The sandwich was packed with onions and perhaps the cheese was melted into the bread but there was no taste of cheese at all. I was definitely disappointed with the food. I would return for drinks but would try something else other than what I ordered. My friends ordered the pizza and burgers and stated they were fine . Finally went here and we'll be back for sure. Ate happy hour food/drinks at the bar. As some have mentioned, for some reason it is quite load even though it wasn't crowded. Employees all smiling and friendly, seemed to like working there. Bar seats are comfy and it's nice to have a bar/bar close by. Lots of nice table/booths for a future visit. We had happy hour drinks and deep fried cauliflower croquets and buffalo sauced fries - both were quite good. We'll be back to try other items on their menu. Recommended for sure. read more

This is sure to become a local favorite. Rincon valley doesn't have a ton of options to eat, so it's nice to find a casual place with some great food options. They have burgers, pizzas, and a bar. We started with some pesto bites and the ahi tuna on crispy rice. Both were super tasty and freshly made. We moved on to their fried chicken sandwich and their po boy. The bread was pillowy soft and the shrimp were lightly breaded. For dessert we had the trio of the cannoli, carrot cake, and lemon meringue. My favorite was the cannoli! We were happy with their drink choices too! Local beers on tap. I'll definitely be back to check out their happy hour. Worth a visit for sure! The service was impeccable too. Went again but not anymore. Marguerite pizza was burned. Waitress said "it's a "little" charred. It was black. She should have never let it leave the kitchen let alone say "it's a little charred. So we returned it. The second one came out and it too was burned. Couldn't believe it. We ate around the black parts and will never return. It was loud there and there is no mozzerrela on the pizza anymore - only tomato sauce. The only 2 ingredients that were supposed to be there were mozzerrela and tomato sauce. Waitress didn't bring a glass for my husband's beer. Definitely a bad experience. read more

Great neighborhood gathering place that Rincon Valley has needed! Very lively bar and restaurant so be prepared for noise, tv's in bar, and open kitchen in the back. Service was fantastic, prices decent and food very good. Lots of choices besides pizza. We tried the Ahi tartar on crispy rice, smoked beet and arugula salad, shrimp po boy with fries.
