Then the tickets can be redeemed at there shop in the back . All kinds of prizes it's very sweet selection! All ages come here to have a great time to play and eat! At this location there is Country night with Line dancing on Thursdays , their promotions are great too! So tonight we played a lot of games. I thank it's very sweet that you either get a new card to load more money on your card or you have an existing card you recharge your card. I love the options also of you have more loads there different amount of money you can load and get extra as a bonus! One was John Wick, as I was handing my card to my husband the card slipped and we under the game it's self, Sean saw we were looking ask if we needed help. I say yes and explain. He took out his flashlight on his hands and knees trying to located it . He told he be right back , he brought back stick and really to his best job he could to bring the card back to him. Successfully he did!! He was so happy he found it & I was so happy too! Sean was super kind, beyond helpful, caring, sweet, super genuine, very down to earth! A lot of fun. The bar is really cool with a great selection of drinks and the staff is very cool. This is a great place to watch games. The gaming area reminds me of a carnival. The machines break, but attendants are easy to find and generous, and the whole ticket reward system seems to be broken as there is a huge gap between what you think you win and what appears on the card. My wife is very competitive and out if the sux games we played, we ended up at the counter for games that didn't start were jammed or didn't pay out. Had a terrible experience last night. We had a huge party there spent hundreds of dollars. Started out with us at a table, we kept going up to order drinks were completely Ignored. Then were told there was a server who barely came to check our table honestly seemed like he didn't want to be there and for a huge party didn't seem to care we were spending hundreds of dollars just to bother him, and be ignored by bartender girl as well. Then the icing on the cake was someone at the establishment stole my wallet out of my bag. Ok so Dave and Busters had a facelift over the winter in anticipation for spring! They have new zones - one called the Arena. And private seated "Bays" with electronic darts and shuffleboard. You have to reserve this area but it's new and it's modern. The food even tasted better than I remember too! We last visited over the summer and I can really tell they've gone through some changes for the better. The drinks were stiff and tasted great. They do have new games too to keep it modern but my only complaint is probably better prize options. A lot it is throw away garbage. read more

Next the margarita flatbread was not great it was not hot just slightly warm and the cheese that was on it was gross just very salty and weird tasting. I do not recommend it. Then for the main entrée I ordered the chicken Parm Alfredo pasta, which I almost couldn't order at all because it took 20 minutes of going back-and-forth with the waitress because she kept telling me that it was discontinued and not on the menu anymore, but then she found out that it was on the menu after all... so idk. Anyways, it wasn't great. The pasta was a bit bland and almost tasted like boxed pasta you buy at the store and the chicken Parm that came with it was a dry and there was not enough marinara sauce on it, that was dry as well. also the tomatoes that they put on top were cold.. and finally the apple pecan side salad came with no candied pecans so I had to ask for those on the side... presentation wise etc. It wasn't great. The blue cheese pieces were super thick clumpy pieces and it was not the best. I also ordered a five dollar drink the blueberry mule that had no alcohol and it was not great just super sour and way too sweet... not very balanced so yeah not the best experience this time around read more

Dave & Buster's in Thousand Oaks at Janss Marketplace has been a solid addition to the area over the past few years. If you enjoy arcade games and sports bars, it is definitely worth a visit. The drinks are surprisingly affordable, especially compared to other spots nearby, particularly as you get closer to Westlake. The arcade has a good variety of games that are not outrageously priced, and the prize room has a decent selection of rewards based on ticket earnings. They recently went through a remodel, and I have to say, it has completely changed the vibe of the place. The emphasis now seems to be more on the restaurant and bar experience rather than just the arcade. Instead of being greeted by a large arcade counter when you walk in, there is now a host podium that makes the entrance feel much more open and welcoming. The layout is now split, with dining to the left and a more casual bar area to the right. The bright wood accents throughout the space really warm up the atmosphere and make it feel more inviting than before. One of the biggest additions is the shuffleboard area near the bar, which I was initially excited about. However, it turns out to be a paid shuffleboard experience where you play against a computer. This feels like an unnecessary cash grab. Shuffleboard is a staple of bar games because it is meant to be played with friends, so I don't understand the point of adding a computerized opponent. While I did not try it myself, I did see people struggling to figure out how to get it started, which does not inspire much confidence. I will probably give it a shot next time, but I am skeptical about the concept. Another big change is the new interactive game stadium, which is placed right before the arcade. The floors and walls are interactive, and a host runs the experience. It is a paid attraction, and while I did not participate, I watched others play, and it looked like a lot of fun. The host running the experience was engaging and energetic, which added to the excitement. This addition definitely adds some energy as you transition into the arcade section. There are technicians on-site to fix issues, but certain games, like the ping pong ball drop, seem to be frequently down. It is not a dealbreaker, but it is something I have noticed more here compared to other arcades and barcades. Noise levels are exactly what you would expect from a place like this. It is loud, chaotic, and filled with kids sprinting around and shouting, so if you are looking for a quiet night out, this is not the place. That being said, it is a bar arcade, so it comes with the territory. Overall, the remodel was a great move, and it makes the space feel more modern and welcoming. It's been a few years since we last visited Dave and Buster's, but we were in TO for another reason and wanted to have a fun night out as a family. This place does not disappoint. Venue: We came in on a Saturday evening and had no problems getting a table for 4. We're seated near some large screens so I can get my college football in. Staff even changed the channels very promptly so I can watch the game of my choice. The restaurant is large, a bit noisy, but it's a gaming atmosphere. The restrooms and gaming area were clean. This place has a lot of games and many were in working condition. The games are a little pricey, but worth it for a good time. Service: Our waiter was very attentive and checked in on us frequently to make sure we had our orders and check quickly. The other staff all seemed to enjoy being around each other and had good camaraderie. Food and drinks: We all know why we come here and it's not for the food and drinks. But their menu selections will satisfy anyone with any type of diet. The quantity is large and quality is average bar and grill food. Their adult drinks are unique and tasty, definitely caters to a younger demographic. Love this place! Kids had so much fun playing all the games. There's a nice balance of games for kids who want to play fun things and kids who want to win as many points as possible. Steven was so kind and helpful in getting us set up and the bartenders were also so welcoming, they were constantly making sure everyone was treated well. It's obviously going to be a little loud, which scared one of the kids but they loved the games so they soon forgot their fear. There are tables for you to set your drinks down throughout the arcade. I've been to this location twice now and since it's newer then some of the other locations I would recommend this one as it's clean, spacious, and they seem to have figured it all out as customer service has always been pretty good. I'm not much of an arcade gamer sort so my review is strictly for the bar & dining experience. I feel that they handle large parties pretty well so this could definitely be a fun spot for a big birthday or celebratory bash. Both times I've come here we're for birthday parties and I was impressed that with 10+ people at both events the staff are pretty stellar and on it. We've been lucky to have had two really good servers both times & overall I know it's hard to handle large parties as one server so I'd say they do pretty well. The cocktails definitely aren't "craft" cocktails in my opinion but they are fun! I had the strawberry watermelon Margarita recently and was pretty good. A little sugary but again, a fun festive drink that catches the eye because of the frozen red ice cubes. They crank out a lot of drinks for that reason I don't think the cocktails can be too fancy but all in all they are good. The food is also a solid 4/5 stars. Lots of yummy finger foods and appetizers to pick from. They have a good menu. I personally loved the truffle fries, chicken strips, and pigs in a blanket with a cheesy dipping sauce, yum! You can't go wrong with bar food and shareable bites. Great spot for special events and kid friendly up until a certain time frame.
