My husband and I came here to celebrate our 30th anniversary and we were so glad we did. I requested outside patio booth but instead we sat inside and I'm so glad we did. The ambiance inside was perfect! (No where here are you going to get an Ocean view.) from the decor to the music, it was perfect. Our server was top notch the whole time while we were there. I had the spicy margarita and yikes! Never have had a margarita that spicy ever! So only it get it if you can handle the spice. My husband got the drink that has balsamic in it, get it! It's unique and delicious, just get it! For dinner he got the ribeye and I got the mahi, we shared the mac-n-cheese. All were delicious. One of the best mahi is have ever had, cooked perfectly. I definitely recommend this place and will go back!

Best meal hands down! My husband and I spent a week on St John and we ate at quite a few local restaurants. Many were good but Dave & Jerry's was great. We are from Texas so we have high expectations from a steakhouse and weren't sure how an Island steakhouse would be... it was great! The decor makes it upscale but in a perfectly island kind of way, not too stuffy but still nice enough that the $200 bill was well worth it. We both got filets which were delicious (I got the butter sauce but it was unnecessary the meat alone was very good) we also got the mashed potatoes, truffled Mac and cheese and button mushrooms. It's hard to say which was the best because they were all so good! We took home some leftovers and enjoyed them for breakfast the next day. Another highlight for me were the rolls because I love bread highly recommend.

Amazing service, outstanding food. It is loud in the restaurant itself, very small. If you are looking for amazing food and service, this is your place. Gina was outstanding.

Delicious food in St. John. We enjoyed steak and duck while eating here and some delicious wine. Our waiter helped us pair our wine with our meals. We would definitely return. As a note, their cancellation policy is strict so be sure to plan on attending, so you're not charged! (This is not uncommon on the islands given how difficult things have been with the hurricanes and COVID - so don't hold it against them!)

Our server was very nice and helpful with recommendations. Multiple servers came around refilling our waters and making sure we were getting everything we needed. Our server had some good recommendations for cocktails and mocktails! The menu included a very large range of cocktails and mocktails (as someone who rarely drinks alcohol this was appreciated). Overall the food was good.. not great. Something about it seemed to be unfinished or missing that little sparkle that makes you remember a meal. For appetizers we had the Caesar salad, artichoke and crab dip, and the bang bang shrimp. Caesar Salad - This was enjoyable! The romaine was fresh and was tossed in the right amount of dressing and parm. However, the croutons were soggy and lacked almost all crunch. Artichoke and Crab Dip - This app seemed a little bland. There wasn't really too much of an artichoke vibe, or a crab vibe for that matter. The best was the cheese on top. The toasted bread that accompanied the dip was plain as well. Bang Bang Shrimp - This dish was tasty. The flavors were as described and cohesive. I liked how the shrimp were smothered in sauce but maintained their crispy! Skin Fried Snapper (Entree Special) - The presentation of this dish was pleasing, unfortunately that's about all I enjoyed of it. It came over rice, broccolini and corn. The fish was lacking flavor and the skin was soggy and squishy, no crisp to be found. The rice was definitely undercooked and the corn seemed to just be taken out of the can and put on the plate. The broccolini was very good. Desserts (Rum Cake and Chocolate Mousse) - As a big dessert person, these were delightful. The rum cake came out warm and was a nice consistency. The chocolate mousse was the star of the desserts. It was visually appealing and well as tasty. It was so light and airy while packing a flavor punch. 3/5 stars. I would give Harbour Prime another try next time I'm in STX!

We had the Rasta Pasta, the Seafood Chowder, the Crab Cakes - I cannot recall what the 4th person in our party had - but 2 entrees, 2 apps., a side salad and one cocktail - $160. The service was atrocious. The waiter didn't come to get a drink order (not even water) for 20 minutes. Then we waited over an hour for our food. We watched tables outside get seated after us fed and left before we even got food. Our waiter never removed cocktail glasses, never checked back. In fact, a waitress from the other side of the dining room checked on us and obviously it wasn't her issue. We watched a table seated ahead of us with two young boys finally get their food - burgers with no fries, no ketchup, no butter for the lobster etc. They waited another 15 minutes and asked another wait person for that after our waiter failed to return with the same. Besides some of the waitstaff being completely inept, I suspect that the kitchen is too small or understaffed. Either way - they should not seat tables that they cannot actually accommodate in some sort of timely manner. The place is beautiful though.

My husband ordered the Tuscan chicken instead, which he said was very good. I had crab cakes, rice, mushrooms and cauliflower. They were delicious. I also had rum punch which was good. Next, we ordered the doughnut dessert, and after waiting for 15 minutes we were told that they didn't have the ingredients to make it? So we skipped dessert because we didn't want the alternatives (crème brûlée or hazelnut ice cream). What really pissed me off was the absence of napkins. We asked for some, and the people at the table next to us also asked. The waitress said okay to us, and to the people at the other table but she never brought any napkins. There were no napkins on any of the tables in the restaurant (I checked). They probably ran out of those also. I was forced to go the bathroom to get paper towels to wipe our hands, flatware and glassware which were placed on the bare table (stem side up). Unacceptable! Additionally, the busboy came out and cleaned the table next to us with the strongest smelling disinfectant (it smelled like Mr. Clean) and the fumes were very unpleasant. Who wants to smell that when you're eating your food? As he was cleaning the table, he placed the new glasses, stem side up on the chair where only butts belong. Yuck! This was unsanitary. I'm glad I went to the bathroom and got paper towels to wipe off our glasses before our lips touched them. Despite the good food, we will not be back

Our server, David, came and greeted us a few minutes after we were seated, told us about the specials, and provided us with menus. Our table was a bit sticky so we mentioned it to the David who informed us that there was some sort of issue with the finishing on our table as well as some of the other tables in the dining area. I was a little surprised that these tables had that type of issue and were still being used by customers in the dining area. my nephew visited this restaurant a few times before. He was excited for me to try a drink that he ordered last time he visited, TAMARIND OLD FASHIONED, so we both ordered one. The drink was not as my nephew remembered it; he said he could actually taste the tamarind and it was a really good drink. What we received tonight, was mixed differently. It tasted like angostura bitters and a ton of alcohol. It was very strong and neither of us could taste the tamarind flavor in it. I mentioned it to David, and he had the bartender add some more tamarind syrup and ice to the mixture. When he brought it back, it was OK but still not tasting as my nephew experienced it the last time he was there. We ordered appetizers and main courses. My nephew thoroughly enjoyed the beef appetizer special. I ordered the bay scallops appetizer special. The scallops were cooked well but I wasn't too crazy about the sauce. I ordered one of the entrée specials for tonight, the little neck clams with linguine. I've ordered a similar dish at other restaurants before so I typically enjoy it. The al dente style of the linguine was perfect but the entire dish was way too salty. The linguine was salty and the clams were salty. It also had too much butter. I mentioned to David to let the chef know that the dish was too salty. He said OK and left. My nephew's meal was OK. He liked the salmon special that he ordered but contemplated asking for the salmon to be cooked a little bit more well done. He opted to not do that and instead take it home and prepare it the way he likes it. He ordered a side of macaroni and cheese as well but didn't like it too much so also decided to take that home to add his favorite seasonings. Based on my experience at the restaurant tonight, I am rating this visit as a 3. The food did not stand out. The dishes, particularly my dishes, could have used some improvements: however, the scenery is absolutely beautiful.
