All things went well. The hostess was attentive indeed as we arrived and she was able to get us through a side door and into the inside air conditioning indoor area. We do travel with a wheelchair. The server was very good and well knowledgeable on the menu. He was even photographed in the menu. We ordered a couple cocktails as well as many appetizers. We didn't order any entrees, as our family likes to try many things. My wife's favorite is ceviche and she was impressed by this dish. (Order it) We also ordered fish bites. I ordered the mahi-mahi filet with cilantro rice (served with red kidney beans on the side) and garlic cream sauce, and it was absolutely delicious--fresh, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. I also tried the coconut mojito on the rocks, which was a standout: refreshing, well-balanced, and served with fruit (strawberry, cherry, and blueberries) mixed in. My wife had the fish mofongo, which she felt was just okay--decent, but not particularly memorable. That said, overall this is a great dinner spot if you're in the area. This open aired, ocean side restaurant was a great find! The staff were super friendly and attentive. The restaurant had a small crowd but we still made reservations. I would imagine this place would be packed in the high season. Be warned there is only one blender so it takes a while to get drinks... and I definitely recommend their frozen coconut mojito. We ordered the ceviche appetizer and that alone was worth the drive. I know we had other appetizers but I honestly cannot remember them due to the amazing mess of the ceviche. We went to dinner here on our first night in Fajardo. The servers here were extremely friendly, being patient with our large family as we figured out what we wanted to eat. The decor was very nautical with shells and taxidermy of fish, which the kids loved. It was right next to a large park and the ocean, so the ambiance was spectacular. The food was really good, but we thought the prices would have warranted larger portions or more gourmet food. This restaurant has the BEST Mofongo that I have EVER had. We came across the restaurant and upon our return to the island we went back and the Mofongo was as delicious as I remembered. My husband also had fresh fish and truly enjoyed his meal. Portion sizes are good! Restaurant was clean with inside and outside dining. The service staff were professional and friendly. I loved this little joint when we were in town for the kayak tour. The waiter was super nice checking with us about our tour's time, making sure we will have enough time to eat and digest. The food is amazing. The best Mofongo I have had here. It is so soft and it blends well with the steak. Also. I ordered Lobster with rice. It was very fresh and tasty. I loved the vibe in here. 4/1/21 We stayed in Fajardo and walked down here for dinner one night stopped because the plates looked amazing. I ordered the whole fish (fried) as recommended by the waitress. The Caribbean salad it came with was delicious and the fish itself was perfectly cooked, not dry and was crispy on the outside and moist and flaky on the inside. I ordered a side of rice and beans because I mean Puerto Rican rice and beans how can you pass them up and arepas those things are just plain addicting so I had to get a side of them as well! Delicious restaurant! The ambience is very relaxing with low lighting. The staff was extremely friendly and everyone spoke English. They asked us if we would move to another table because they got a party of 14 and when we did, they offered us two drinks on the house! We visited El Pescador the last night of our stay in Las Croabas and it was the perfect end to a wonderful trip. The decor gives an eclectic beqch vibe perfectly in harmony with this little fishing village. The staff was very friendly and helpful. It was pretty busy when we came so we had to wait 30 minutes for a table but it was totally worth it. My friend is vegetarian and the server gave her several options to choose from, both on and off the menu. I ordered the octopus and found it to be delicious, fresh and well prepared, not chewy or overcooked which can often be the case. The drinks were great too! But the seafood prices are the same if not more expensive as an nyc steakhouses (Gallaghers, The Palm). Service is not as jumpy as I would have liked(I get it, it's Saturday on an island).
