We split the brisket sandwich, which was piled high with incredibly moist, tender and flavorful brisket on what appeared to be fresh ciabatta. No barbecue sauce, no coleslaw, no distractions. Just straight up brisket flavor, which gets two thumbs up from me. The sandwich came with two sides, so we chose the baked beans and pasta salad. Both were absolutely delicious and paired perfectly with the brisket. We washed it all down with an ice cold bottle of A&W Root Beer, the perfect summer pairing for a barbecue meal. The restaurant sits just off a relatively busy road, but the outdoor seating is tucked beside a beautiful pond. That gave me the opportunity to do a little birdwatching while enjoying lunch, which is always a bonus in my book. Best of all, the entire meal was about $20 for two people.
