While we were checking out our items with the cashier at this place, my mom noticed that she knew the cashier, my mom proceeded too talk to her in Spanish as well as she did. While they were talking ( in Spanish) the manager came up to the cashier and told the cashier "English only please" when the manager said this the cashier just nodded and said " oh yes". Although the cashier did not confront him me, my mom and my sister were still in complete shock. To sum it up he was a racist. read more

Typically have not had issues at this location. Today, the register lady just seemed to hate the world. Nothing about her was friendly, even when I tried. It was so bad I decided to leave our purchase and go to another location. It's a shame because they have some of the best selections in the area. read more

Good selection, decent prices on liquor. Staff was okay, but certainly didn't go out of their way to be helpful. The real problem was the cigar humidor. First, it wasn't properly humidified. The cigars were dry and old, judging by the thick layer of dust/grime that covered most of them. I would not smoke any stick from this place. read more

I live close, so they're my go to store, but not anymore. They were out of stock on a 12 pack of beer, so I asked to pay the same amount for 2 six packs, but the man who stocks the beer was incredibly rude and said it wasn't possible to do that, when I would be paying $8 more for the same quantity. The service was poor, and they were rude when it wasn't my doing that they were out of stock and nobody in their right mind would pay that much more for the same thing. They lost my business even though it's more inconvenient for me to go elsewhere. Do better, Daveco. read more

Here from Minneapolis and stopped for a super fast bourbon pick up before heading into the mountains for attending a weekend wedding. I don't see why they have such low reviews. The place is HUGE. All 3 of the staff we asked questions to were friendly and promptly helpful all the way thru the chatty guy at checkout. Excellent selection - if you're into the craft beer scene there's plenty of options. Plenty of choices if you're into wine, whiskey, etc. Prices are in line with other liquor stores, but bear in mind that you also pay the development tax when you do business here. The rewards program is underwhelming - have to spend $500 just to get $10 off. read more

Not too happy with the liquor manager. One of the managers who was great, promised me a cardboard cutout when they were done with a promotion. He left a note with the information. I was never able to talk with him again. I called several times talking to 3 different managers who promised to call me back with an update. One of them said that he did see the note. None of them called me back. I ended up talking to a 4th manager who was the liquor manager and she told me that it was already spoken for. I mentioned that he was spoken for me and she said "I'm the liquor manager so I took it". She was extremely rude, smug, and entitled regarding the matter. Huge store, monstrous selection of beer, wine, and liquor, as you'd expect from a store this size. Staff has always been very friendly and ready to help. They occasionally have some hard to find stuff if you know what you're looking for and you're there at the right time. Doors upon doors of beer. I wish I liked wine because there's acres of that too. We were in Denver for a concert, and as big bourbon fans, we often like to visit out of town liquor stores to check out their store picks and selection. We belong to many bourbon social media pages and a friend of ours from our home state, posted a bottle of nice bourbon that he got from Daveco this morning. We inquired, called Daveco and got confirmation that even though we didn't have enough points - there was another way to get one (we don't have points because we don't live here). When my fiancé approached the counter three guys told him that wasn't the case and there was "no chance he spoke to someone at their store." We we're bummed but continued to walk around and grab a few things. We discovered while checking out, that the guy at the checkout area was the "guy that we couldn't possibly have talked to." He told us we couldn't get the bottle we came there for, but that there were a couple of other bottles we could get with a minimum purchase. Naturally, we said, okay - and we're in the checkout.. "Owner on a power trip" comes over and says "it's a minimum 500 point purchase for these, but I'll let this one slide, but you can only have one bottle." - so at this point, we've been misinformed twice, and accused of lying. At this point, it was less about the liquor about more about customer satisfaction. We were very willing to walk away from the first situation - because we know the value of high end liquors and if there's a policy in place, okay.. but now it's coming down to - an employee is clearly spouting misinformation, but how is this our fault? What happened to making situations right? So when he comes to scold us yet again at the register, I said "maybe we should just be done with this because it seems no one knows what their talking about and no one is on the same page." ... Powertrip then just grabs the box of liquor and walks away with it. No "sorry about that".. "sorry about the miscommunation," just walked away with a scowl and mumbling under his breath. Needless to say, we will stick to Total wine, philnors and other places when we come to town because Daveco lacks customer service and satisfaction, has employees clearly not on the same page, and doesn't really care about making their customers experience right. We went to DaveCo tonight to buy some beer for a birthday party. We were enticed by a generic sign saying mystery beer case $22.99...we assumed....which was clearly a mistake...that the beer would be the left over bottles from the pick a pack display. We thought it would be fun to have several different craft beers that we normally would not try. To our disappointment, the box contained nothing but piss beer...Corona, keystone, coors, budlight etc and even a non alcoholic Beck and 7oz corona... VERY disappointing to say the least. It was $18 worth of beer in $22.99 box... if you are going to call this a "Mystery box" at least make it fun! This box should be called "selling the shit beer we have left" read more

There were a few craft beers that were ok but a box full of cheap bottom shelf light beer is shit deal for 25$ I will never purchase this again and I am very unhappy with this. Do not deal with this liquor store! Owner lies and staff likes to stereotype. Where should I begin... bought a total of three 24 packs of 16oz Bud lights for an upcoming camping trip. Needless to say, after they called me, they said they were discontinued and that all they had were 18 packs. This being after the website clearly says they have them in stock and the product was paid for. I had spoken with the store Owner and mentioned that if he gave me 4, 18 packs it would total to the same amount of beer. We both agreed. Well when I showed up to pick up the product they said it would be illegal to make the transaction happen in that manner. Illegal how?(More like they were worried about their inventory.) I have had other liquor stores make up the difference if they advertise it in a certain manner. Regardless of the situation they should honor their prices and quantity. I went as far as asking them if they advertise something they should honor it. Their response is "no we don't have to." Can someone say false advertising? Moral of the story is don't deal with this store. Scam artists!!!! Go somewhere else where they value business. By the way daveco, there is something in inventory systems called adjustments!
